That is the risk we take, Phil. I know you have been here for a lot longer than I have. Perhaps your average is also higher than mine. However, they could have avoided buying any shares and continued to draw their salaries until either they struck a deal, or the cash ran out. Maybe this will not be a successful venture for us, but at least IMO they have shown some sincere intent, unlike so many AIM lifestyle BODs, too numerous to mention. As I have said before, while my eyes are wide open here, I continue to have faith in Iain and the team to come good. To our benefit and naturally to theirs. Maybe not if your average is in the pounds still, but if they pull some good deals off, in time, who knows? But in case I sound like a ramper now, let me repeat - the risks are clear unless/until proven to be otherwise.
Iain has said they expect to sign deals this year. It all depends on how lucrative those deals are, if we can get a decent upfront payment of around £10 - 20 Million then can see the SP back at 40/50p.
Another RNS for another director share purchase. I make that around 750k worth of shares they've bought in roughly last 6 months. If they do end up signing some lucrative licencing terms, we may look back at these buys as a pretty obvious signal of intent. If they fail to secure a licencing deal, then its just another Rene red herring. . .
I have had this stock for many years unfortunately all I ever read is bad news and more bad news in the mean time the share price goes from bad to worse is there any light on the horizon! Please let the share holders know the truth instead of giving the mushrome syndrome fed s_it and kept in the dark.
We should be very impressed Ian Ross has taken the trouble to keep us informed of the change in direction and management at R. It is keeping us on board and as a LTI I was beginning to give up hope.
Yes thanks for the link. Quite impressive. Plus the directors buys. Fingers crossed.
Further director buys as stated and won't be the last.
Agree. It was a good interview. Iain clearly relishes this challenge. Thus far, I have been impressed with his corporate decision-making. If anyone can pull this off, I think it could be this man. Good luck Iain and good luck to us all.
Thanks for the post, That is I think the first time anyone from the Management Team has mentioned increasing Shareholders Value. A very good upbeat presentation.

You may find it helpful to consider the companion lyric "Just one Look", brought to you by Doris Troy back in 1963.

Enjoy.
I often read on this board, “just one deal”. Could the authors elucidate what that means? Fosun was the equivalent of a couple of months of cash burn! But like you Winkle my weighted average is a factor of ten greater than this latest ray of sunshine - yes more fool me but I hope the optimists are right - I’ve lived here with a number for the last fifteen years so I’d be pleased if they’re right just once. Please …
Well, right now I would bite your hand off for 30p! You can keep the additional penny :) Joking aside, I do not think 31p is the base case here - we all know what that is - but equally IF they can pull off at least one deal, then a figure above 31p is not an unreasonable assumption, IMO. GLA while we wait for more noteworthy news.
I have held these shares for 20 years they have never had a divi or given share holders any thing but broken promises of which they are good at, I stupidly thought stem cells were the were the holy grail how wrong was I.
I was thinking, the 31.5p price is a bold move!
Looks like if all deals fail this will be the take out price for the board to settle at ie 31p
Well, this one is still a spin of the roulette wheel, but I would be delighted if they get to exercise their 31p options :) IMO, it also suggests that they have some genuine confidence in this business still. GLA.
Thanks

They used Reneuron's hippocampal progenitor/stem cell line in the study, suggesting that King's is one of Reneuron's academic partners.

TerryMC, please could you let us know your motivation for your posts. Is it a selfless act because you are worried that people you don’t know might lose some money? Or are you relentlessly posting a negative view to try to drive the price down for your own selfish ends?
Your de-ramping is impetuous, repetitive and tedious. Throwing arbitrary figures into the air. You are just spouting nonsense for the sake of it.
In the Fall of ‘22 CEO Isted failed to get a cash call away when Reneuron was sitting on about £8+m., an equivalent of about twelve months’ expense, which some would argue is close to the minimum amount of cash a business should hold.
Yes, as many have indicated Ross has reduced the burn rate such that the net cash line has been extended into ‘24, and as a result has bought time.
It would be naive however to think that some form of cash inflow won’t be required well before that predicted end date. Thankfully Ross and his Board understand that! Summer/Fall of ‘23?
Really, if that was the case then I would expect them to take part in the placing and not buying as they have. Also why would they do a placing when they cash runway into 2024. Do some research before posting absolute rubbish.
