Me too.
ready to place a buy order at 12p.
Yes - that's a point I agree with (directors being useless). It's unfortunate that the directors basically control the majority of shares here and are responsible for day-to-day decision making. That's what's putting me off. I think there will be an attractive entry point soon.
If its a long term hold - should be OK. Good luck!
Are worse than useless this company has immense potential this my long term good and luckily I average 17.4p. Thinking about topping up but will wait a week or so.
I think, what doesn't help is the lack of communication from the company. I don't think things are that bad at Quiz - how bad can it be as they still generate a good amount of profit (underlying) relative to Marketcap, have no debt, etc.
I'm not a holder at the moment (have held in the past and got burned), but may enter soon, if it falls to my target entry point :).
Are things really that bad here, a winner of numerous retailer of the year awards last year and the share price just keeps sinking....vultures must be circling ?
so boohoo pay 18 million for a failed debt ridden company¬ makes quiz look cheap imo.
at leat this deal puts the auiz valuation in to perspective.
Boohoo is acquiring 'online only' business, it is low risk. They get a terrific brand with an established customer base for a paltry price. This is a great positive... They can easily integrate this with their existing channels for distribution etc. Buying distressed business (not brick and mortar stores ) at the right time will re-rate boohoo in the long run..The revenue from Karen Miller was over £160m last year (for both online and brick and mortar stores). With no physical stores,it will become a better margin business too... Way to go (if it gets through)
quiz is so undervalued now, even the tolliest of trolls could not justify or risk sticking the boot in further.
boohoo entering the high street ... intetesting
BOOHOO in advanced talks to buy Karen Millen and sister brand Coast through an insolvency process known as a pre-pack administration.

Bt, Zorg. Is it me but a lot of the boards seem choked with trolls that dont have anything to validate their negative remarks. Do you guys think its becoming worse ?
Its a shame because there are some good people are on these boards
Hi Bt. Yeah doing well. I bought some half sovereigns 4 months ago. Gold price gone crazy. Everyone said no, no and no when i bought gold and now we are sat pretty Point being we have to follow our own instinct.
Buying some Quiz this week. Like you and Korg reckon should be at 26p. Personally i believe Quiz will be bought or family will buy back
I do have a soft spot for Quiz.
Good evening to you Bt and Zorg.
if you DYOR you k ow this should be 32p minimum
Peeps are starting to cotton on as to the value here
Hi Woodstock, I am good thanks and I hope you are too? Just incomprehensible it can be down here again, I sold large quantities at the the 32p level last time and now average 16.4p with half held at 14.22p. I can see 25p plus here very soon
Hi Btfath. Trust your keeping well. I see you have strong support with Korg. Because off your enthusiasm and knowledge of Quiz, i almost doubled my money "Thankyou ".
I reckon Quiz has bottomed out after the fall Thursday, as a result i am keen to start buying in again from Tuesday.
Atb Woodie.
could be a distressed/tipped off seller was unloading before svs went bust. if so could be a few shares locked up and out of circulation.
i was a svs client for a while, just felt wrong. kept ringing trying to sell dodgy aim crap. more like a boiler room scam. transfered out years ago, but they had the nerve to call me just a couple of weeks ago.
16 will be gone in a few trades imo.
Buy I don’t think 15.5p will last long
It does look cheap as long as they get their shlt together, last year's failure sits firmly in the lap of the bod here, they messed up thinking they could grow faster than they could hence they had to have massive sales on excess stock...
Based on fundamentals, its massively undervalued. That said, it's the stuff we cant see going on in the bankground thats the issue. How many massively undervalued companies have we seen keep diving. I own some of these and they are a bit of a millstone on me. as Im tracked them down from 50.
9million quid market cap not including cash and you do not think this is undervalued? This is the buy of the year at this level :-)
Apologies it is now an incomprehensible 2.8 billion market cap.
I was barking mad piling in at 15p before I sold the majority at 32p. The 30’s will be reached very shortly with the next trading update
