Am I correct in remembering that we were only told about Utah after Tomco claimed something which was not true and had to be corrected via a RNS? If so, then the risk factor can be moderated, as the possibility of a hidden development cannot be excluded. ( it’s the weekend, you see)
Indeed Tuckman, the odds are better this time around for sure, but commercial deals are what will make us, or not. What many holders will no doubt bear in mind, is the SP prior to a commercial decision will be significantly higher than it would be if the outcome is negative, so its all about risk levels and how much you feel like gambling.
Yes agree Salinger, however this time hopefully more testing ships and throw in the bioMSAR mix as well. Throw in a global push towards green and the naughty shipping polluters have got a real time answer to the current emissions scandals! The gamble IMO has the cards slightly better stacked in our favour this time! Well I hope so anyway!
A trial is just a trial at the end of the day, been here before. Yes it’s not Maersk but my point is that nothing is certain till they agree commercial terms. Up to that point it remains an educated gamble and anyone who says otherwise is either a ramper or deluded.
I would guess any investor has to make the decision is the wait worth the potential reward? For myself on the current news available unless anything changes then yes indeed! For MSC, they must be very close to starting alterations for the shipping, IMO no going back after this has started! Then the fun can begin!
Patience involves recognising that timeframes are nearly always flexible and that when you’ve made an informed decision all you can actually do is wait for the outcome. Fair to say QFI have tested patience to breaking point many times.
For every wheelbarrow full of patience I would require a full wheelbarrow of good news.
Fair is fair for all LTH!
The relationship between Qfi and MSC must still be on and nice as they are happily tweeting about them. Ahhhh all nice and happy. Looks like we need another wheel barrow full of patience before next news I guess. The 3 months has well and truly past now so next stage must be in progress:)
well if they can announce that they are awaiting samples, then surely it would be ok to announce that they have received the samples.
Sorry for asking such a question, what’s the 2 x 3,000,000 shares bought today all about. = £350,000 ......
I am quite sure they will announce the Proof of Concept is complete and that the MMU is on it's way to Utah. Hopefully this is in May...this year.
"Eg...if you receive the samples, will you release an RNS? If the samples are tested and found to be good, will you release an RNS? Etc etc."
I very much doubt that they will announce either the samples being received or the outcome of the test. QFI are doing work of a highly sensitive nature for a third party; why on earth would the third party allow them to announce the progress or outcome?
indigo & salinger - agreed, it's an important aspect that they were really crap at for a long time. Educating your customers and shareholders is very important. No doubt they will tell them what to talk about and what NOT to talk about given various sensitivities you mention :-).
It’s also a service most likely to generate returns when we actually have trials ongoing or contracts in place, something tangible to report on and inform potential investors. There’s only so many times you can tweet about how great msar is, eventually there needs to be some meat.
My understanding is that they have mostly outsourced the social media stuff. They give that team the materials and a brief to educate potential customers, investors, etc, and they produce the materials.
So that means they aren't using the time of the team, but also that you shouldn't read too much into it as secret signals or something as it's likely fairly independent of business activity.
I think that really is the `unknown` Indigo, I can only think no news is good news and things are moving on. Any bad news ie cancellation of projects etc IMO there would have to be a RNS as price sensitive. I know they don`t have to but any `projects` update RNS would obviously keep us in the loop and provide market confidence going forward. I am not sure if their `tweeting` etc is their way of trying to tell us that this is progressing forward! I guess only time will tell.
Indigo good point If not RNSable then I hope Mike /Jason will at some point do an Investor update video. Like you I don't want to keep emailing then however I suspect they know we need an update soon.....
The apparatus all looks pretty impressive to me. And all clean enough to be on the royal yacht, if we had one, of course.
Now all about the fuel supply and how they make it? Maybe next they tell us who is making it?
Looks like confidence to me, all I hope and guess is on track!

Another week nearer the price,,,,,,,,
Tweeting away about the Americas white paper. Wouldn't it be amazing to get into that market with the current shift from Biden into 'Green'
So much potential here if we can get that first commercial contract over the line and the blueprint for many others to follow.
Come on Utah, let's be havin ya :)
For those more inclined to use LinkedIn, here's the corresponding QFI announcement on there - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/quadrise-international-ltd_qfi-maritime-shipping-activity-6790928154723672064-Cp1R

They certainly are happy bunnies today :)
Very nice indeed. Hope they have not forgot about MSC :)
So the company are still tweeting away! It’s now about Earth day 2021 ! I hope they have not forgotten about the MSC project :) :)
They must be happy bunnies at the moment. Save the world :) Save us LTH’s :)
