Gosh ! a little optimism here wouldnt go a miss.
Ok Long termers help me out with the top projects qfi have in order of which will have the biggest impact on the sp (assuming success)?
My comments were about Tomco not QFI, I am a long term holder and understand our position and opportunities rather well. QFI are structured in such a way as to capitalise on their own technology, we need one customer to get it going. I think our guys are wary of the US set up in a commercial sense, they know how hard it is to sell MSAR and Greenfield`s entire business case rests on doing just that, so at best it is a long shot! I hope it works obviously but the absolute BULL being spouted on the TOM board is just incredible!
Unfortunately Salinger has zero optimism with QFI why he is still in this share I have no idea.
If you picked a Apple from a prime tree no doubt he would moan about it - not fresh enough- need better crops etc etc etc. I would suggest we award him a CDM Gloomy Bar.
I take it you can read boyporche? Seems you are the one who flaps around like a fart in a trance whenever the share price moves down, remember? lol
Like you I did flap around when I thought this shart were going t u but Ive had my wings clipped and we must all hope this time QFI can do it and turn the ship around towards America lol
The TOM board is an embarrassment. Some going OTT and others probably working over the less initiated. Either way it is maximum CRINGE. I am sure the share price could go nicely, but damn - Public BBs for you I guess.
Top QFI projects in my humble opinion:
Morocco = Modest but very important
Ecaudor = Sounds very interesting and obvious share price changing on its own
Shipping Companies x 2 (LONO) = Sounds very interesting and obvious share price changing on its own
European Oil Refiner = Sounds very interesting and obvious share price changing on its own
Saudi = Retirement
Valkor/Utah = New and probably bottom of the list until about a month or so ago (personally speaking). Speed of project exciting, just need to know the terms if deal done (we do not yet) and if/whom the end users could be...... Jury out but possibly very nice
What do you mean "like you"? Behave yourself man, you`re just making it up as you go along. Please delve into my posting history and show one post that comes even close to a flap "like you". Facts matter boyporche so don`t just open your mouth and belch!
Good summary grumpy5. The importance of Morocco cannot be overstated as they should provide the first commercial working platform for MSAR use, major moment for QFI shareholders. If some of the rest follow, then retirement is an option for sure.
I like Saudi = retirement........ but I don't think I would like to rely on those B******* behind their Masks.
there is a new Quadrise bb on the a d v f etc site which would benefit from som elong term holders having a comment or two.
thanks Grumpy5
KSA would make the share overnight.
TheOrns, if it works on their project I can see the KSA partners taking QFI out. They would surely want the tech to themselves and then licence it out?
Either that or they will buy a large position in QFI.
just a new interview re the tomco conection, mentions quadrise.

I think Ed's written note is slightly misleading (video is clearer!). It can be read in a way that implies that even without QFI's MSAR fuel, Tomco could produce an HFO/IFO equivalent without further processing. I do not believe that is the case at all.
What comes out of the Petroteq process is API 8-14ish very heavy crude (low-sulphur bitumen). Without the MSAR process, you would still need to use the usual refining and distillate cutting processes to produce something with a low enough viscosity to use as HFO/IFO (especially in marine).
I think MSAR is critical for the most attractive "crude -> premium fuel oil" pathway described by Ed; plus, it helps avoiding refining capacity bottlenecks.
Without MSAR you would be talking about a decent quality low-sulphur super-heavy crude that needs refining and cutting (addition of distillates) to make something useful.
With MSAR, it is a premium fuel directly from crude that has considerably better environmental performance than HFO. It could be used in marine, industrial, etc.
They possibly will but hopefully at something north of £1
Looks like BP is doing his usual how to make friends and influence people on the board again
I find BP's obvious enthusiasm quite welcome on this board and hope that he continues to contribute.
I certainly will ColinH100. hope you are well.
I find BP to be like a young boy who has just discovered another use for his willy and cant resist telling everyone. I on the other hand like Monty Python and try unsuccessfully, most times, to lighten the mood with humour. We all have our own ways of being annoying. Just like the new found friends who have recently descended upon us like moths to a light. They will lose interest eventually and flap off (restrained myself there).
you may think its crazy at TOM but the sp has doubled on the back of this deal. Qfi hold the key for that to work and yet the interest here is very little.
IMO it will change soon and we will see some decent buying here.
Yes QFI only have an MOU and no signed agreements yet (although it does look pretty likely based on TOM announcements). Not really on for predicting share prices but i think you are correct, once an agreement is in place I think we shall be away.
And if one or more of the other projects kicks off...... It really is happy days
I just hope Mike realises he holds the key for the whole project to be profitable and does a very good deal for Qfi. Without MSAR the oil sands will not be profitable enough imo.
