It looks like someone (possibly several people) went on a bit of a spending spree in the last hour of trading on Friday.
See what transpires Monday, if anything.

That's a huge spread
No reaction as yet to the award of management options in CPH2, at various prices but mostly the vast majority dependent on a share price of between 60p to 80p.
Current price around 10p, PRIM sitting on a big loss atm, but indicative of a direction of travel, perhaps.
PRIM remains unknown and unloved outside of a select few.
Hopefully that might change.
Prim also has Fresho where a floatation event may happen in due course which will be worth several million to Prim. Getting funds from Payapps has come at a very crucial time for existing shareholders and I'm surprised the SP isn't much higher. Rupert who owns approx 24% of Prim ( which dwarfs my nearly 3%) plus completed a capital reorganisation of the shares think that is important here for some of the funds. Will we see some share buybacks? Anyone know why it may be important?
Remember on this one we still have an investment in the remaining part of Payapps which will be sold. We also have several million in Fresho which is a sucessful company we have 1 mill in ALTE which is in the middme of a RTO, plus Engage etc etc etc
I,m confident that Rupert will do his best for shareholders just hope any investments are near term or a special situation.
Good luck all.
There is also a substantial investment in engage
I wonder if that is making any progress
Rupert has been made aware of SND
Greedy 10% spread.
Yes whilst the investment policy gives scope for investments in a wide range of sectors and technologies their recent focus seems to have been on green power generation, the returns for which recently have been very poor.
There is plenty of tech out there, which is doing well.
Take SND - UK high end chip design and manufacture - market cap - £10M. About to run out of cash, hence the knock down price, but if PRIM were to supply some cash and the company was rescued, on suitable terms, then the sky could be the limit, think ARM, NVIDIA.
Cash of at least £5.5M could give PRIM serious leverage, if used correctly.
Let's hope the cash isn't recycled into more deadbeat tiddlers
Weird market because plenty cash shells with less cash in terms of there market cap and a few "Directors" on board are valued much higher...
if they reverse into something or an acqusition (as rns states) then this could be very interesting.
Received cash £4.8M.
Current market value £7.69M.
We should also have received around £1M from Bushveld.
So hopefully more scope to rise here.
Looks like there is more to come also, from this separate sale -
"A separate sale process will be conducted over the coming months following the closing of the Acquisition with the net proceeds from the sale of the FMI business to be distributed to Payapps shareholders as additional consideration, however, neither Payapps or Buyer are party to or responsible for such sale arrangements of FMI following the closing of the Acquisition. Primorus will issue further announcements in relation to the proposed disposal of the FMI business in due course"
Now what to do with all that cash?
Brilliant news, £5million cash, almost as much as current mcap, and ignoring the value of all other investments. Should be a good day, prim is vastly underlooked
That should have an extreme effect
I’m hoping it will come good. Been here over 10 years. I need .053 for breakeven but I’m not holding my breath. Over on ADVFN someone blogging this to reach 11p very, very soon.
The last time the share reached these heady heights was in June 2021, when it spiked to 5p.
Is Primorus about to finally come good?
Care to expand on that or is it just a hunch ?
ADD
7p coming on news
Suspect that there is a balancing buy to come in later...
Someone has done a reasoned calculation on another (rival) site suggesting that PRIM could get around £3.75M from the deal. Others suggest more.
It is about time this rerated.
It is unfortunate that it is the legacy investments that appear to be doing well. The previous management clearly knew their stuff, but greed in terms of remuneration was their downfall, and hubris in thinking that they only needed to own a relatively small part of the company left them vulnerable.
With mkt cap at 5.6mil any positive news
Which is very possible and seemingly very few shares available might cause a big move
I'm hoping
Accumulation going on, could be Rupert or Stephen perhaps
2 days in a row reasonably big trades
Yes, looks like someone has accumulated another 500K.
Resolutions look like progress, unlikely we'll have to wait 10 days to see the detail.
There were similar resolutions around a year ago, but they look to have changed the memorandum and articles, so we'll see.
Presumably Mr Ball is sufficiently confident in his calculations to put around £750K into this.
Continues to accumulate. Currently second biggest shareholder behind Rupert
