A quick update on the whereabouts of the SVR 101, courtesy of SOU’s presentation yesterday evening:
https://youtu.be/kJhxgBBjHP4?si=AQWLMY0E7mi6j33A
“The SVR 101 is currently with another operator, when that’s completed we hope it’s making its way to Tendrara” (from 13m57s)
A far as we know, the rig is still with SDX (who spudded the BMK-2 well on 3rd April) as we’ve not had notification that SDX has TD’d the well and released the rig.
Graham Lyon’s previous comments from 10th April were that he expected the well to go from SDX to CHAR and then to SOU. So do his comments from yesterday suggest there’s been a change in the rig sequence and that SOU will now be taking the rig immediately after SDX?
As SOU isn’t using the rig to drill a new well but simply to install production casing, Keith’s suggestion was that they would need the rig for perhaps only a week or so. And then, presumably, it’d make logistical sense to send the rig to Guercif next and for us to use it for 2 ½ weeks or so (12d drill, plus a few extra either side for setting up / taking down etc). If so, this would suggest that we’ll have the rig sometime in May (i.e. within Paul’s previously stated drilling window of April-May) and well before the 5th June end-date of Amendment #4. And after we’ve finished with it, the rig can go to CHAR.
So is it possible that sequence for the rig is now SDX → SOU → PRD → CHAR?
A quick update on the activity of the SVR 101 from Sound’s Q&A today:
https://vimeo.com/932588030?share=copy
From 2m 43s
“We’ve also got the SVR 101 rig coming to us after its activity that it’s doing at the moment. It’s drilling a well in the west of the country, then it’ll move to a different operator and drill a couple of wells. These are quick, shallow wells so we expect to see the rig in Tendrara end of May for commencement in June”
So it does sound like SDX is currently using SVR 101 after all, then it’ll go to CHAR for 2 wells as expected. But it’s still not clear if we’ll take the rig for MOU-5 after CHAR or after SOU? But it seems that, at best, we’ll have access to the rig towards the end of our Apr-May drilling window or, perhaps more likely, there may be some drift into June?
Whatever the precise schedule (and, IMO, a week or two here-or-there isn't of great significance), that does fit with Paul’s recent comments that there will be “...of course, Titanosaurus to whet the appetite before the summer holidays for the equity market.”
All the other kids hiding from you then Dave
“Why not ask the company dear boy ?”
Because, Catherine, they aren’t telling us.
So imo the SJ spread will come in via Tangiers, normal customs regime for north African countries with temporary import equipment, in my experience is 2-3 weeks until cleared. I suspect original documents will need to be legalised etc.. and things just take this long , pretty sure we are following all required ethical standards and fat brown envelopes not a part of this.. The sand jetting spread will come with the actual tool and hopefully back up, own HP pumping unit and abrasive propant. What else is needed though is the coiled tubing unit, to run it on.. one cannot work without the other. I’m hoping our CEO has not taken his eye so far of the ball ( his words) that they will not arrive together. There may be a CT unit in country available, I’m not sure, Im sure others better placed than me can advise on that. Once all rigged up, it may take up to a week or even longer to clean out the wellbore and reservoir damage, it may happen quicker, it may not happen at all. It is my assumption and opinion that we will not see any sand jetting operations much before mid May, at the earliest, I would like to be proven wrong.
Why not ask the company dear boy ?
❤️
I suggest you contact the company directly dave.

Anyone?
Sandjets, Last time mentioned as being in France somewhere, or under ownership of a company with a French office possibly. Or is there futher clarity on this? Would be grateful for an update on this. Is there any verification of the kit’s whereabouts?
GLA.
“ Waffenburrett has lost money in no less than 3 suspended companies this year and is in ARB and COPL. Doubt those investment decisions had the blessing of any IFAs but you gotta admire his courage and conviction.”
Yes indeed I was in ARB during suspension Christmas 22/23. It returned to market and It jumped 600%. I settled for 400%. Copl is facing potential legal action for what is looking decidedly fishy. We will see…
I like high risk, as are many here obviously, but also gauge bet sizes. I also admit to losses when they occur. I often post on companies I have no investment in as do many investors and traders, inevitably, to get additional info.
The point here, however, is about PRD and reliable information, not avatars’ profiles.

Post history is a fascinating function on this site.
It can give you a clue as to the integrity of the poster and also their investment interests.

Thebold is simply a FUDster. Not sure if it's for shorting purposes, lower entry prices or just protecting his overexposed CHAR position. But it's clear to most rational people I guess. Each to their own...
Dont believe me? Take a look for yourself. It's verifiable for all to see.
Both in the bin for me. I trust my research, understand my risks and have placed my bet accordingly.
DYOR and GLA
If the permit expires on the 5/6/24 as per the presentation then a few weeks late will matter as the spud will not occur until a new permit is issued. Lets hope they are discussing a longer date for the permit.
A few weeks late?
lol, talk of sandjets since last September! I imagine this one will roll on until the BOD have finished drinking their bonuses. (Half still to print) - all in the RNSs.
Feel free to email her to trust and verify …I positively recommend that method of investing.
Sarah Dees.
Lovely lady.
Helped organise all those expensive investor events at SOU.
Blimey. Someone posts that they have had a response from SDX and it is instantly 'verifiable'. Gullible doesnt even begin to cover it.
I actually dont really care about exactly when our spud will be if it is only a few weeks late. People who do care clearly have bet too much on a high risk bet.
And btw interesting parallels between the timing of comments in here and the SP today. Just goes to show that trolls can effect the price if volumes are a little low.
I wish you all luck. Some need it more than others 🤣🤣🤣
That's one of the funniest posts of the day 😂
The bold goes on his other account to big himself up.
Actually, it's not funny is really sad that people have this desire to troll.
The bold, who I filtered ages ago, adds nothing of value.
Pathetic......
Another one in the green bin.
The ramping crew can gang up and shout down as much as they like HPBOB and Private Tesla you two are as bad as one another. But at least Thebold has actually got verified information - better then the tripe we get told from the rampers 'I've heard'. Absolute Tosh.
Thanks Thebold
Keith - can we subtract the 8 days for mou5 from your calculation, as time to drill would be to TD, whereas the debate is about spud date? Either way, it's only a couple of months, and we have the highly anticipated Sandjet before that.
SDX just spudded so char could be looking at 3 weeks away from getting the rig .,
Jeez we could be 2.5 + months at this rate before we see it on MOU5 !
From SDX IR right now…
We are drilling using the Star Valley 101 rig.
Best regards,
Sarah Dees
Sorry MOU5
Drill durations were in broker note. LNB1 was TD’d early due to hole issues, they only intercepted 2-3 mtrs of the reservoir.
I agree time lines seem long I still have em at 16-20 days though per drill though.
Plus new operator acceptance audit.. that should be a breeze though.
BTW updip does certainly not mean shallower all the time..seen plenty of updip drilling go deeper. The rig will come when it comes for our SOU5 beast, .i actually don’t think our dates are that far out.
@thebold. References for depth please? - CHA have clearly stated that the deeper reservoir is the same as the discovery in LNB-1, and updip means shallower. LNB-1 did not TD early, otherwise they would not have encountered that potential reservoir formation. References for 26 days per drill please? Are they taking a fortnight's holiday on the middle of each just to upset PRD?
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but in order for others to assess such an opinion, it is necessary to have the facts on which that is based. An opinion based on further opinions is not very helpful.
Right. Anyway, these dates are all provisional and educated guesswork, but we'll all be happier when the MOU-5 spud occurs, before the permit extension deadline. That's all I'm concerned with for now.
By the way, on another topic, did PRD hear back from the Irish DoE yet?
