At least he has a notable track record in Metal Tiger and he's putting his money where his mouth is, Naptha, and that's good enough for me as a character assessment. Let's face it most dynamic people 'talk the talk' but do they always 'walk the walk' ?They often do so by leaving a pile of debris behind them for others to clear up. I don't believe this was the case with PJ.
napthman, the how the projects will be funded has been answered in the 30th Jun interims "For those projects we choose to continue to operate, this will be through active exploration programmes. For those projects where we see corporate development as the best option, this will entail commercialisation transactions to further bolster our financial strength.
Our aim is to have exploration-driven high impact project interests that deliver a consistent flow of news to the market. Underpinning those exploration projects, we want to develop a 'balance sheet' of substance, with a key objective of financial self-sufficiency, so we are not reliant on the market for financings through equity placings. We are making progress on both counts though there is plenty more ongoing work to do."
As for something you don't like about him that you can't put your finger on, well I trust you run your recruitment business on more professional lines; i.e. competence based rather than you like the cut of the person's cloth.
I run my own recruitment business and i cant put my finger on it but i just didn't like him. Hey we buy into people the most, like i said i could be wrong, you like him, we are all different but you have to go with your gut. Also i feel to many RNS's coming out. How are they going to fund sll of this. I prefer to get one done then move into the next but hey ho what do i know
Must agree with Jacktrade. I invested here because I watched one of Paul's live presentations by accident rather than design as it preceded an Open Orphan presentation the same night. I subsequently researched the company, like what I saw and have increased my holdings with each subsequent update, but not to a point where I have unbalanced my portfolio. To me, the risk/opportunity here in a climate where mining techniques have improved at the same time as the price of precious metals has increased, hence making previous uneconomic mines profitable to exploit, makes this a compelling investment.
Really? ive watched all Pauls interviews and heavily researched the company and i see a CEO who has invested heavily his own cash and is therefore aligned with us shareholders to make money. I also see a highly diversified portfolio of metal exploration in possibly the most favourable time to be involved in the sector. Not just that, but these are fully funded and ready to go, and you're saying you think even if one of these projects comes up trumps it wont significantly impact the share price positively? Not sure where you get the bad feeling from..
I had a small holding but got a bad feeling about this when i watched the last interview. Something didnt seem right to me so i sold out and put more money into ufo. I could be completely wrong but something doesnt seem right
Yep, seems to be a guy steeped in the past rather than looking to the future which is probably why he is still invested in oil
I feel you are SERIOUSLY missing something here.
blair- Let's arrange a meet this time next year 21/09/2021. I can assure you that we will be many multiples of where we are now. See, it's easy to cast aspirations on others, but PJ has a shed load invested and his strategy is spot on. We do not have rights issues at discounted prices and we are well funded for the next year. PJ replies quick time to any emails you send him and I have a lot of respect for the guy. If you are invested, good for you, but if you're not... maybe move on to pastures greener. Best wishes
I would rather be invested in a precious metals exploration company where the CEO wears rose coloured spectacles but has the confidence to back his confidence with a huge chunk of his own money than a company producing oil in the current climate
this is the time to buy power, the rns this morning is another paul johnson gem, to get involved in an area very near
metal tigers big find is really good, he is no fool and yet another astute bit of business.
dsfat, agree with you, I was looking to increase my small holding in KAV.
However, because of this joint venture between POW and KAV, my holding in POW will now expose investors to the huge potential upside from Kavango's licences , without any further expenditure.
Great work PJ.
For POW, It's not about production, it's about discovery.....
I was looking to get into Kavango after the 8th Sept RNS;
' These images confirm significant similarities between the northern (Hu****si) section of the KSZ and the giant Norilsk mining centre in Siberia. Norilsk accounts for 90% of Russia's nickel reserves, 55% of its copper and virtually all of its' platinum group metals.
Kavango increasingly believes that Hu****si has the potential to host very significant copper, nickel and platinum group metal deposits.'
Very happy that POW have managed to set up this JV
