Ungraded made me think conversion of a research unit, but after that first sentence things were less clear and it could be a new system, either way it’s more high margin gas sales
What I like is this isn't any old hospital. This is the top-ranked children's hospital in the US. So they're setting a precedent and more will surely follow.
One thing I'd love to know. What is the significance of the word upgraded? What is included in this piece of equipment that wasn't in the reasearch polariser?
They only require a second clinical system if the first one is being used so much that they can’t keep up with the demand. That is really positive news imo
And it’s great for the patients especially the young children who have been diagnosed and treated correctly thanks to our equipment, that’s the highlight as far as I’m concerned
JJ7 and all, question ,
Was the xenoview , approved by the FDA, for use on children 6 years and above , it was ok for children over 12.
Cincinnati Children Hospital, must have good results , as they are buying the latest model, more power to them.
Glah
PJ
In theory this rns is 2 institutions as a shared facility. So this was good but that makes it double bubble Rodney

This is just want I wanted to see, another order and firm support from CCH for POLX. A good start to May.
I'm sure more will follow as the financial year sets in, great recommendation from CCH, what's not to like.
I'll be topping up as funds allow.
A good Friday for a change.
Of course it's an order, why would anyone think otherwise. It's in the wording of the RNS. For a single order you are not going to publish the amount, although when formal results are published it may be possible to work it out. Also, the 'order' will have an upfront payment and then additional fees for the gas, therefore, the total amount is unclear. Again another reason to not put figures in the RNS
This is the second paid for system if you read it correctly. There are more .. several just completing this self same process. I know Duke are close. I've been giving them a few months on top of new budget year , as you don't get a budget and assign one of these in a week.
What I like is that via research from bastiaan and others at Duke etc the kit was amazing but is being enhanced ongoing all the time. Great news and my wish answered.
More to come here ... and a paltry market cap.
It’s an order, not a gift.
Definitely paid
Good to see confidence from CCH, as a clinical setting I presume it’s a fully paying order.
Vote of confidence by existing customer in long term future of Polarean is good news.
No mention of funds being received with this "order"?
Every day I'm desperate for news of up turn or a deal ... one day Rodney. We gotta hope Chris got this he seems to have connects with right companies
Shpunken, fully agree with you but I wouldn’t imagine the company will be sold until the Gas Exchange is approved.
When that is approved IMO we will be looking at £400m+ (50 x current valuation) if the company was sold.
Yep, his sole purpose is to get the best finance deal and then sell the company.. if he does his job well, we won’t be talking about polx by the end of 2025
I let my recent health issues get me down a bit and I’ve probably been a bit hard on CVJ today, sorry guys
I’m waiting for that rabbit as well Turbo, I hope it happens we deserve it for our loyalty
I’m prepared to give CVJ the benefit of the doubt as I believe there are a lot of positive things happening in the background.
The 10 months he has had is not a lot of time considering the sector we are in. The next few months are huge for the company
I’m very much hoping he pulls a rabbit out of the hat with the funding and gets some momentum going with positive news.
I think he will!
Wonder if Hullihen’s still got his 3.2m shares?
It’s difficult to ignore how the share price has been since CVJ took over as CEO and how bway shares have risen since he left them, this is his opportunity to prove himself to us shareholders and the board of directors, anything short of extraordinary and I think he gets a vote of no confidence
2nd qtr 2024 does seem to be building up to a critical time for the company.
Definitely be interesting to see what happens, CVJ hasn’t lived up to expectations yet imo, but this is supposed to be his area of expertise time will tell if he can deliver
With the deal that CVJ has signed up to, it is very much within his own interests (and the entire board) to have minimal dilution in the next fundraise.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
Fingers crossed for a good result!
