I’m invested since ipo and have averaged down. I’m just wondering why BOA has taken an interest in POD POINT.
I’m over the moon with their statement. What technical analysis did BOA carry out? What is there track record on forecasting? It feels too good to be true!
Sorry, thread name is " significant upside", take a look in there
Its in the thread below (significant rise) - looks like bank of America has said this share is significantly undervalued and that seems to have sparked the buy in.
anyone know why the big rise over the last few days been an investor since flotation and topped up again to average down
Great catch thanks for sharing. I wondered why we were up so much today. Not complaining. Good to see this share coming out of the doldrums!!
Positive news , keep it coming .
Thanks
What are your industry predictions for the next 12 months?
We’ve had a slight cooling of EV sales growth in the back half of 2022 – still growing, but not as fast as the industry has been used to. I hope in the next 12 months we’ll see the supply chain constraints that have caused that slow down easing and OEMs will start delivering EVs at a rate that keeps up with demand. We’re currently hugely EV supply constrained and lead times are showing that. We need more EVs on the road to grow the charging infrastructure faster.

Brief but does have a short section on his hopes for the next 12 months
A wider war in Europe in the next few years is seriously going to push back the EV revolution. What amused me was Biden saying that we are still going to need fossil fuels for the foreseeable future at his recent state of the Union address, to great laughter from the politicians gathered there.
We don't design mass market cars in the UK, our cars come largely from the EU and Japan which as far as I understand don't plan to ban IC car sales until 2035. In other words there will be a supply of IC models available worldwide until approaching that date at least. Given the uncoordinated mess that the EV charging network rollout is in the UK, I am of the opinion that the UK will eventually bite the bullet and align itself with EU and Japan (and the US which I think is also 2035). Our ridiculous government is great at making headline grabbing policy statements that they cant delver on and later retract.
The EV transition is beset with a range of issues, not least the supply of lithium and other minerals, and infrastructure.
There are a few editorials you may finds useful. Pros and cons.

Short term weakness long term strength, a share you have to be prepared to hold & wait .
The results seem good with the exception of bad ebitda
Full year results out Friday
According to last 6 month report £82.1m closing cash, currently valued around £95m with growing revenue/gross profit. When is full year results?
Here’s to hoping there’s some good news come Friday. This company has a great position in market
*it depends on how long you want to wait *
I totally agree with that statement.
I was on the A38 just now and wondered how many.cars will be on fuel in ten years time .
Very few I expect . We are talking about million's of cars going electric. In the mean time someone will make money from this . I'm sad for those who have lost out so far . We all have at some point .
Luckily, I’ve been able to bring my average down to 77p. I initially bought at ipo, sold and bought back in again. Suffered huge losses until I averaged down. I believe the company does have a great future with the EV market. It’s all about how long you can now wait.
I have thanks Den. This seemed a good opportunity but as time goes on it seems that the IPO was a chance seized by the founders to capitalise before the rot set in. I suspect they saw it coming.
Good luck to you though, my instinct after 40 years of investing is to walk away, albeit sadly with a loss.
Just a matter of time , you have to learn to walk before you run . If you can't wait then get out .
In the meantime at this price increase and multiple..
Repetitional damaging. https://twitter.com/lemminginvestor/status/1621477146785980417?s=46&t=ZcYyMMVNB7PRLmvEqfyF-w
