Thanks for reading the articles!!! I cannot question what you say as I'm so P***** O** with this share, I don't have the enthusiasm to even read the ''garbage''
Doesn't that potentially save us 750,000 a year in interest payments and extend credit terms for another couple of years ? Less of course fees !!!!
Lost me after the first 5 lines, all I want to know is are we better off now or worse? Simple.
You've done it before, please do it again. https://www.iol.co.za/business-report/economy/psg-chief-asks-pioneer-foods-board-to-resign-696759
Still the dog in my p/f wot we need is my kippling (old poster here ) back who sold on here when it hit over 50 on speculation. He did more for the share price than PFD board ever did ! Recent green shoots ? If it touches 50 I am going to drop this whilst I still have hair !
It's the final uncrossing trade of the day in the auction. Being an auction, there will be both buyers and sellers I believe.
HC Is the 700 plus not a sell or a buy as it.s a UT trade i may be wrong. either way as you say fingers crossed.
Correct guys !! 700 plus thousand uncross at 40p. Very positive indeed. Could this be PSG taking on the sellers out there? Fingers crossed (yet again)..
Actually I was right first time...it was £302k! Plus another £110k or so across a few trades. Interesting!
Sorry...thought there was a £302k buy....it was £302! Pfd has officially driven me mad. Knew it would happen! :) Still excited about 40p tho!
I'm officially excited.......! esp given the end of day big buys at this price. Could something finally be happening?
Yes this sp p**** me off, we now seem to be happy of the thought of it going above 40p, well this was under valued when we had the rights at 50p years ago and still cannot get get back above that. The company is in a much better state now than it was but the city and the market just DO NOT trust the management. should be 65p + by now.
will it break it today? Why the hell are we even talking about 40p being a barrier? This should really be way beyond 60p.
And thats with the market jittery over Italy....hopefully good news on the way
Been ticking up a bit last few days, albeit from a very low base. Possibly some news starting to leak out? Dare we hope?
I've been holding PF now for 8 years and could be holding them for another 8 years!!! However, with PF we have seen in the past how ''little things go a long way'' So we don't need a really big catalyst for the SP to move. With respect to PSG, it shows something is happening behind the scenes, Oasis had ideas of their own, hence the ''fallout''. We must appreciate PSG and Oasis are also ''hedge funds'' meaning they could do well by selling the 15% they hold to a new player. On top of this we know Standard Life's stake is up for grabs, so a new player holding 3% could suddenly become a threat to Nissin. They would have to respond by topping upto 29.9%, what would that do to the SP? ALL IMHO
2r, I agree with you. Even though presently I am sitting on a 13k loss. I rather see PFD go under, before I cash my shares at anything less than 75p. Begrudgingly, I will probably have them for the rest of my days ?
Yes they have to ,until they get below 3% as I understand it.
Standard life notified that they sold 850k shares on the 25th April to take them below 5%. Maybe they sold the rest just after that. Do they have to notify after they have gone below 5% ?
nobody getting my shares sub 1. Yes I understand the frustration and anger, the feeling is mutual. But we need to appreciate with shares, ''as a rule of thumb'' they always fall more than they should without explanation, but also rise more than they should too. Anyone who sells at 65p must appreciate they are going to this level eventually, because they are going a lot further!!!
All those shares came from who? Frustrated private investors who have been waiting for King Darby to abdicate but he loves the attention and dangerously drawn to MrKipling like the ring to Gollum. Scooping up 5% did take sometime but they got there in the end. They are out to scoop up all our shares too, blood sucking scumbags.
They are a South African Private Equity outfit and we cannot say anything about them at this stage. To date nothing seems to be moving the SP, so even if we got a RNS tomorrow saying Unilever have bought a 5% stake, the SP may move 0.25p, EITHER WAY!!!
Looks like those shares were bought on 23 rd & 25/6th April, so that's taken a month to be announced. Who sold?
So that 5% is about 42m shares,I don't think there has been that many shares traded/ bought over the last few days so that must mean they have bought them off someone else, I wonder who has been selling their stake? Unless they have had a broker buying up all the sold stock behind closed doors.
