Wheaton International could quite easily progress an effective takeover here if they wish nearterm, why would they wait until Mintails has really kicked in and other levels improved ?? because surely they would have competition from others at that point and have to pay way over what they could now.
It would make far more sense for them to act NOW imvho
It would be fantastic if a bid did come in, serve the day traders and short sellers right!
Company has confirmed operations are running 'smoothly'.
No reason for drop other than market manipulation.
Use the form below folks, report these immoral bar stewards to the FCA.
Seemingly no reason for this 10% pullback other than day traders and market manipulation.

Patryk, me too :-) i think the market makers will have to start playing fair with PAF or they could be caught out by a BID APPROACH and or MERGER OFFER,we know Wheaton International recently concluded a local deal that was equiv to over 40p a share on PAF,s assets. And they could quite easily do the same with us here IMO there is not better value deal anywhere on offer for them ( they would see us as a sitting duck ) .
Watch and see - with GOLD rampaging in price we cannot sit around on such a lowly P/E ratio for too long without catching the eyes of a potential bidder ! its simple economics .
Moved rest of my Shanta profits in here today, use these drops to load up!
We should be starting to move up over the 25p levels this week IMO the market will have to start factoring the higher gold prices and the huge uplift in production we about to get. Should be over 30p this if compared and valued to its peers IMO
Let’s look at this end of the year :) short term movements are here to scare the investors, 20s will be history once Mintals is up and running.
As for me, 20 -23 is not high enough to skim the profit. Especially before 5th April. I prefer shares at lower price than 50% tax.
Hi Mulder.
I can't see much in the news either. the usual caution about US rate decision / SA economy etc.
Trade-wise, I can only think this must be just profit taking after the recent rise. There is strong resistance at 22.2/22.3 and touching it again seems to have caused a sell off.
People selling out of a gold stock when the forward P/E is just 4.....a takeover would be nice to catch them out. Wheaton has been touted. Harmony?
Well the gold price is actually UP today and around $2,160.
Fill in the FCA market manipulation form folks!
Nearly 5% drop at flat gold looks very very suspicious. If nothing happens at plant, it should be manipulation. Or is anything happened?
Trading 0.5p below where it should be in a fair and REGULATED market!
"COMEX gold futures have seen the biggest uptick in net new longs in five years in the past two weeks, though exposure is still not close to the record for open positions, standing at 426,000 contracts currently versus 550,000 contracts held at the end of 2019." from bloombe...
Agree 100%
Over the last 2 decades I've come across many companies that have folded due to a run and scaremongering caused by short sellers. Some could have survived, or at least lasted a few more years.
mulder, have you signed the uk petition to stop shorting? please do because it's cruel and destructive and plain bull ****e!
for those of you interested in banning share shorting

Very high volume in SA today and a very strong rise.
LSE stock continues to be held down, illegally.
Tomorrow we will fly again :)
Same story again.
0.5p shaved off.
''Currently sitting on 50% (paper) profit. Thinking of cashing in..''
Perfect for a topslice??
Current P/E is only five, faling to four with Mintails.
30p should be a bare minimum.
Iv been sitting here since 13p will only be selling when SP is over 30s, interest rates are being cut this year, the next few years are the years miners been waiting for and with Mintals going live by year end, there’s no way this is going to be in the 20s
Currently sitting on 50% (paper) profit. Thinking of cashing in...
Do you reckon?
Chances of a takeover bid, given the super low rating here?
