Well in to the oversold range on the RSI graph. Perfect buying point for those with spare cash.

Not owned MTL for a while. Not unexpectedly its been laying doggo for the last 10 months, whilst new prospects are being opened. A 10% jump in share price is bound to be queried as to whether there is some scuttlebutt out there that the average punter does not have access to. Long term holders will be sitting on a good gain, others punters will be wondering if the Americas is about to come into play. The fwd P/E is highish at 14.1 and the future is maybe/maybe not until some confirmed numbers come in.

To those that have stayed with TUN. My own comments in the past have been negative, having been with them when they were Wolf, as well as more recently. My jaded view is that any minor negative by folks in the UK tends to block progress of an enterprise even when the result produces skilled local employment. Hopefully this time the stars are aligned.

I don't know why, but it happens that shares that have everything going for them just go ot of focus. Andean Precious Metals a Canadian company which I sold three weeks back, having a fwd P/E of 4.4 and a EPS of 27.4 and anouncing good news just appears to drift. Reluctantly I've bought some trusts and similar trackers of the Nasdaq which appear to be bowling along; on what I'm not sure. At the end of the day I beieve the essential commodities will show their worth.

All the Canadian shares much more volatile than elsewhere. Often I could be down substantially at the start of trading day and in the reverse position at the end. Its all part of the game if you follow it daily. My best non goldie has been 5N Plus Inc. (The Blurb) is a global producer of specialty semiconductors and performance materials. The Company deploys a range of technologies to develop and manufacture its products. The Company’s segments include Specialty Semiconductors and Performance Materials. Operating in North America and Europe, the Specialty Semiconductors segment manufactures and sells products used in several applications, such as renewable energy, space satellites and imaging. Its end markets include photovoltaics (terrestrial and spatial solar energy), medical imaging, infrared imaging, optoelectronics, and advanced electronics. The Performance Materials segment operates in North America, Europe and Asia and manufactures and sells products that are used in several applications in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and industrial. The main products are sold as active pharmaceutical ingredients, animal feed additives, specialized chemicals, commercial-grade metals, alloys, and engineered powders. I'm not trying to pump it, as its not a cheap P/E, but it has a beautiful mix of products, and its reflective of the Canadian adaptive economy. Having said that, UK shares have been on a bit of a roll as well.

Are going to rise, which is not good for Gold in general. Bond market wallahs have been caught out as they were expecting rate cuts. Unfortunately Gold will suffer similar issues despite huge increases in profits as sentiment reverses. Plenty of buying oportunities in great value companies for those with cash.

Thor (UK listing) is my only UK metals share that I didn't sell in panic a couple of weeks back.

I did wonder at first glance if Pacifico's comment was correct, and it is by quite a large margin even after subtracting South Africa's 100T annual production. Not sure about Burkina Faso being the safest investment area. My only memory of the place was of a Vulture hitting the windscreen of a bus I was on and its internals splashing over everything; the stench was something else and my clothes unwashable!

Well Faraday FDY:TO have rocked up another 25% since mentioned last week.

Another punt HBM:TO worth buying on todays dip (Hudbay to Acquire Arizona Sonoran Creating the Third Largest Copper District in North America).

Of course ANTO is always worth another top-up on any dip, or any other time for that matter.

Are shifting some money from Gold shares to Copper, I just took a small punt on Faraday Copper Corp FDY:TOR. an odd punt for me as I've been fairly determined not to buy shares with a long term view to profits or a not proven track record (Faraday have a connection with BHP on their Arizona project, with BHP are putting in some cash). There are numerous smaller Copper orientated companies with plans that would not have been feasible until the recent Copper demand. As a smaller sideline I'm looking to acquire some more, if folks have some suggestions.
