GDX.US still showing up 0.37% but FED dithering towards 50/50 after October FOMC meeting rate cuts or not is sending Gold miners down, though longterm most predictions are for Gold price to rise.

ElectricIron. Its not that BBC article, it maybe because there has been dozens of the same article re Ai bubble and has become one of the major topics of the finacial news. Either folks are missing the boat as giuded by some (the big boys have made their gains) they will pile in and be caught with their pants down. When the Ai bubble pops as everybody and his dog predicts it will hit all share prices including Gold despite its haven aspirations. Depending what age group you are in will have a strong bearing on your risk attitude. I did think that the last Kefi RNS although positive had a hint of " hey we could do with some more cash" as we are expanding so fast....... maybe part of the share price moving down rather than up.

Results, but looks as if Gold is under pressure, although predicted to rise over the next 12 months. I fear there will be a general blood letting when the Ai bubble pops which appears to be predicted by just about everybody and his dog.

Suspect that much of the market the for being good to yourself and your gut biome has been stolen by the fat drug medications. I know of four family members that are on it, and one after the Doctor said there was no need for it as the weight/BMI measurement was normal!!!!

Mibb, I've owned KEFI shares at least twice, probably three times. I made 20% and 9 %. from the last two trades and placed the profits in mostly Canadian Gold miners that have really taken off with comparativly minimum risk. The last sale was at 0.87p around 20th May last year, the share price drifted downwards some 40% over the following 12 months. As per my past posts on Kefi it remains (in my view) a small punt where if something actually happens there will be plenty of time to buy-in.

One year share price rise 154%.

Number of analysts , one (I don't see others) suggest 165% increase.

Worth a punt if you can spare the cash.... and not prepaired to invest in the multiple Gold/Silver miners that are actually producing bigtime profits and have track record.

The practice of using multiple state entities to purchase and store gold allows China to potentially understate its total gold holdings. A good read to understand Gold is James Rickards 2016 "The New Case For Gold"

The RSI graph for one year SRB has been down to or below the mid point between overbought and oversold on 10 occasions, and is in that position now. It may go down further tomorrow which would enhance the rebound when it comes; so its a tossup whether to buy first thing tomorrow (though my view preferably this evening before the markets closed) or resolve to wait one more day. On Stockped.. it passes 7 long screens which is an unusually high number and no short screens. So barring undisclosed news, this healthy correction would allow a rebound tracking the apparently unstoppable rise of the Gold value.

Holdings by China are deliberatly opaque. Besides the central bank holding there are various other government bodies that hold Gold in China. They do not allow export of Gold and are voracious buyers enroute to becoming a reserve currency. Being a reserve currency such as the USA Dollar allows huge leeway and controll of financial instruments. Their biggest problem in achieving this is their reluctance to have an open market which the USA has and with great depth, which Trump appears to be hollowing out with the tarrifs etc. Just an opinion, but who really knows. Maybe I should ask Gordon Brown.
