Trades and a tick up at close, news on the horizon ?
should see some improvement sp wise today , but certainly not the fireworks of a deal with fords or some other multi-national . have to organise a party for that another day lol . atb
Maybe we did the right thing holding on after all mate ? A glimmer of light at the end of a very , very long and dark tunnel ? GL
cheers my friend , nice find , good see lse upto speed . thankfully we have people like yourself who don't rely on what you get from here . not earth shattering news , but should give us some momentum in respect of this product being commercially viable . thanks again
and put the kettle on to , we might see some interest come back today
Good morning Hope this does well for you, your patience will hopefully be rewarded.
Oxford Advanced Surfaces Group ("OAS"), the AIM listed technology developer targeting engineered materials and surface modification applications in the automotive, aerospace, communications and renewable energy markets, announces today that it has made the first commercial sale of its proprietary technology, OntoTM. Following a trial using the EP1000 evaluation pack an order was placed and fulfilled for our EP1020 brush-coat product for adhesion promotion. The challenge was dramatically to improve bonding between a construction-based industrial coating and a high density polyethylene. EP1020 provided an effective and convenient solution; the treatment was applied to the substrate onsite and delivered markedly improved adhesion performance. Whilst this was a one-off sale for a specific problem, it demonstrates the unique capabilities of OntoTM technology based products. Philip Spinks, CEO commented: "We are delighted that our EP1000 products have solved a difficult problem for our customer. We hope this is the first of many orders and believe that this will demonstrate our abilities to a wider market. Our products have a place both on the production line and in the field."
Morning mate Just looking in. Not getting involved. This is an interest for me due to the fact that our old friend Robert Quested is involved here. Been watching it, did previously hold last year, but not much happened.
RNS On Investegate http://www.investegate.co.uk/oxford-adv-surfaces--oxa-/rns/first-commercial-sale/201406300700217674K/
RNS out , my goodness they seem to have actually sold some stuff !!!! I wonder if we'll see a sp surge today ? lol GO OXA ;-)
MarktheSpark huts the nail in the head - what have we to lose?
If this technology is as good as Oxford say it is, and it certainly sounds impressive with the potential to use graphene as a coating constituent, then maybe other companies, with greater capacity to take this forward into the marketplace, might be tempted to bid. I guess in their current financial position, Oxford would welcome an approach. Keep the lights on for just a little bit longer.
thanks mate , hope we all see a result here shortly , good luck with whatever else you choose . last one leaving the board please turn the lights out lol . hopefully we should nt have too much longer to wait
was in rose on the way up from .84 , sold out at 3.2p a few weeks ago but still on my watch list mate .will add interfox to my watch list . keep an eye on clon , ratification or deal news could be very soon . alo was a bit of a disappointment sp wise , but still holding as they have nt produced any bad news . hope you are well , keep in touch .
well mate i'm gonna pop 'em in my bottom draw and come back for a look in 6 months or so , fingers crossed for all of us holders in the future . And good luck with all of your other investments .
Hi mate bit off subject but if you have spare cash have a look at ROSE just bought at 1:5p on placing news out tm. Now trading 2:12p. Also Interfox just sold at 2:6 and bought back at 2 hopefully 5 infew weeks. GLM
with regards to selling themselves , they have disclosed that they have sent out 14 trial samples . on a time scale this could mean some positive news in around 6-12 months depending on what the application is for . still plenty of time before the company runs out of funds , as they should have around 18 months left in them before they come looking for more . guess its back to the tumble weed lol
LOL you should e-mail them the evo-stick idea mate , they might not have thought about it !! not much action on the markets after yesterdays RNS , 4 trades ( all buys it seems ) and none so far today does not make you think it was positive enough for people to start to believe . You are dead right about the one deal cracking the nut , but I wonder how hard they are selling themselves or are they just sat back waiting for that big deal to fly in the window ! I was encouraged a little by the RNS at least now we know the company is still there !! it's another one of those " could be tomoro , could be tomoro ,could be tomoro " shares !!! all together now , COULD BE TOMORO !! gla
they just need that first deal to give them traction in the market place and inspire belief in the product . todays results are just a reminder of the potential this product has should the world wake up to its benefits . I get the feeling that maybe the product is too tomorrows world , I think they might have been better flogging evo stick for a pound a tube some days lol
I have a tiny holding in OXA, based mainly on an intellectual snobbery which makes me think anything with Oxford in the name and connected to clever people in white coats must be worth a punt ! Doh! It seems from an ignoramous' point of view that their technology has enormous potential however it seems like they need to produce a eye-catching "Tomorrows World" type specimen product to gain some traction in the marketplace.
no hint of a forthcoming deal , just a re-iteration of the benefits and properties of this product . they do make me want to buy some though , lol . nice to hear the market sectors they are pursuing and the vastness of those markets . as I have said before , any deals the bod manage to secure will surely be multi million if in the right sector .lets see how the market reacts , though I am not expecting an increase , but maybe a few punters will want to have a go .
RNS , here is the news we've been waiting for , but is it the news we've been waiting for !! A lot of reading here but any good news I wonder ?!!
sorry to hear that mate , but know how ya feeling !! I hope something good happens soon before you throw your cards in . you know what they say about the transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient ? hope we're both laughing about this soon !! come on OXA get ya fingers out .
after 2 yrs of all talk and no action my patience is beginning to wear a wee bit thin . the jam tomorrow scenario has lost all its sweetness , yes you have guessed it , I am losing hope here . I cant understand why the promise of delivery is taking so long . at least the company has money to see it through without raiding our pockets , but watching tumbleweed daily is becoming tedious .I think I will have to draw a line in the sand shortly if material progress is nt forthcoming .
