Head of Curalef Juan Martinez comented-
Martinez emphasised that telemedicine and e-prescriptions for ailments such as chronic pain were big opportunities for Curaleaf’s products, hailing the possibilities where “you can go in a telemedicine platform and in 15 minutes you have your prescription”.

The vape pod will be the first of its kind with a CE mark, there are other devices with a measured dose but not CE approval. The syqe medical is CE marked but uses flower filled cartridges.
once Kanabo have CE approval they should have at least two years to build a market without any comparable alternative.
A nice position to be in IMO.
The way I read it is that the device "vape pod" has pasted the test for the CE mark but as it is a medical device which can only be used with the Kanabo carts then the carts themselves need to pass the same stringent tests.
SAFETY & QA
CCELL heating technology enables vaporisations of Kanabo’s formulas in the VapePod. In order to ensure the safety of this delivery system, tests have been made on both the carboxylated formula as well as the on the vapor produced by the device. Results determined that the same formula profile was maintained in the vapor. This demonstrates the preservation of the original composition with no new formation of materials as a result of heating.
DOSING
The VapePod is currently undergoing certification as a CE registered medical device. Dosing accuracy testing ensures that the composition of our formulas remain the same for each dose, that the same amount is provided in each dose, and that there are no toxic by-products released within the vapor.
CONSISTENCY
All of Kanabo’s formulas have been tested which resulted in determining the consistency of the composition of vapor produced by the VapePod. Cartridges were filled separately with each cannabinoid formula representing a portion of cannabinoids, naturally occurring terpenes, and an insignificant amount of ethanol. Kanabo’s formulas remained the same throughout the lifespan of the cartridge regardless of the amount of extract left in the cartridge.
Once both pod and carts are certified then they can be made available on the German market, either over the counter sales or through prescription. The good news is that now Kanabo products can be prescribed the issue of cost is resolved with patients in Germany having to pay between 5 and ten euros for their prescrition.

Lookingh at the Kanabo prospectus for 2023, the device achieved an eletrical CE, confirming its compliance to electrical safety regulation in the EU and the GSPR. See page 52.

Having done my own research, I think you could regret that trade. Not that I have a problem with HELD as KNB have a holding there, but this company has not even begun to realise its potential and with the news just in from Germany I will be holding long here. GL with HELD.
Not in the control of KNB when CE mark is issued but I think we would know if it was a fail. Meanwhile Germany set to legalise weed on april 1st, so lets hope we have it by then as they are a big target market for the vape pod.

About time they banned disposable vapes, a rare act of responsibility on behalf of our half baked govt, and the 24292 reported sell is in fact a buy.

Yes I looked for when it was published but more important I think is that they are clearly in a strong position to benefit.
looks like there could be several operators chosen. section IV. Procedure. Could KNB be one of them or provide technology on a white label basis. Not long to wait to find out.

I like this part.
What has been the impact of the pandemic on your business and how have you dealt with this?
Telemedicine has gained huge traction during the pandemic and the number of people using our service has just gone through the roof. During the pandemic we have been fully booked every day and demand for our services has risen by 400%. People are more aware now that there is a different way they can access medical care and many doctors’ surgeries are pushing people to do consultations remotely via phone or through a telemedicine channel. The NHS has started to tender out for a digital framework and we have recently become an approved NHS supplier which allows surgeries to also use our telemedicine platform.

16th 0f November was the cut off date. Why would they RNS the fact they have applied rather than wait for confirmation.
This is what KNB have been working towards for the past two years, I cant find any other UK companies which are in the same position. Particularly as they have the vape pod which solves the medical cannabis prescribing. Obviously not a given until we hear it from the company but I would say they are very well positioned.
I think you hit the nail on the head, that is exactly what this is if KNB gets the contract. I don`t like it but you might as well play them at their own game. Politics and business should`nt mix IMO but why should all the gravy go to those in the club.
When Dan Poulter stood down as none executive director I thought to myself, is that job done Dan, have you steared the company through all the regulatory hurdles in preparation for the GP service taking on the role of the NHS online. After all he is a conservative MP and a doctor. Heading into an election year the Tories will be looking for all the good press they can get, whoever gets this contract it will be something for them to claim as a significant achievement.
Looks like news might have leaked after two days and over 100% rise. CE mark is due but who knows with Kanabo. we will just have to wait until next year to find out. As for a placing, why not just buy some shares and enjoy the ride.
