Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I thought it was you for a while it was just you and me chatting about there prospects and arguing with the resident loony. News is well overdue here but patience will be rewarded if you are prepared to wait. Due diligence is being carried out which has taken longer than usual but hopefully will be concluding shortly. If this is favourable then an uplift in the sp will be inevitable.
Eddie82 were you invested in clon?
i have noticed two 1 buys this afternoon which are said to be code for an RNS . News is way overdue , though I am not buying the storuman story as I don't expect any news there until October at the earliest , hopefully news from Nevada or the impending deal we were promised over a year ago awaiting due diligence . Will know on Monday whether somebody is just being mischievious or whether the code theory holds water .
had this on my watch list for a while , looks like news is about to hit . cant decide whether to jump in or not . too late today , probably too late tomorrow if the rns lands first thing .
sp is moving up with no registered trades . Aurum has made movement the last two weeks on nothing also .
Its a very good point that the article makes as when the price rises , orm should be past its teething production and into the full swing . conversely, if as the article says you are already at the top of the cycle , then the only way is down . a good example of this is wti which has collapsed as the price of copper has fallen and is currently discussing debt payment which it can now no longer afford . Its not a badly run company , just a victim of the current price slump . there are a few companies out there that have the opportunity to be ready when commodity prices lift , and plenty of opportunity for investors with patience to benefit from it as well . I believe orm has great potential , great time to move in and buy .
i have just re-read the statement and i am still confused as to why ? and what the benefits are of the proposed restructuring . they are basically going to sell off 25% of oasl , which we as shareholders already own , and offer us new shares in a company we already own . and they are blaming aim regulations and costs for having to do this . if i read between the lines they are cutting off funding requirements and dont see there being an immediate rosy future , nor medium term either . i may bail on this one , as not only are they way behind schedule on where they thought they would be , but the take up of their technology has nt happened whatsoever in over two years . the question that needs to be asked is how much can this technology be sold on for to somebody who can market it ? personally mate i would reduce your exposure here and keep what you can afford as a punt . the market certainly has nt liked the announcement , and neither do i .
not had much time to read through the detail , but it appears to be a reaction to remedy what i have said before , that scientist make bad business men in general . hard to see what sort of a premium the business could be sold off at , as take up of the product has been a disaster . i reckon they will give it a year as an independent company and look to sell if they fail to win orders . customers appear to be buying off the shelf for a particular task , without looking to adopt the technology .
sounds like the major investors are looking to get a return on this slow burning investment . looking more likely to be absorbed into a larger entity , though at what price could be anyones guess .
still in , nothing to say until we get news really . this share falls quickly and rises quickly , remember not alot of shares out there , less than 90 million , so when the day comes , book yourselves a well earned treat lol . not expecting an announcement until end of sept at the earliest , then the deals could come in thick and fast . though just one would be nice . atb
sorry i did nt mate as it is a foriegn stock , hope you made a few quid. still watching the paint dry on my chosen stocks , but clon looks good for positive movement shortly . atb
that's good news , major shareholder is now a ned , might just push the commercialisation along a bit quicker
should see some improvement sp wise today , but certainly not the fireworks of a deal with fords or some other multi-national . have to organise a party for that another day lol . atb
cheers my friend , nice find , good see lse upto speed . thankfully we have people like yourself who don't rely on what you get from here . not earth shattering news , but should give us some momentum in respect of this product being commercially viable . thanks again
and put the kettle on to , we might see some interest come back today
Oxford Advanced Surfaces Group ("OAS"), the AIM listed technology developer targeting engineered materials and surface modification applications in the automotive, aerospace, communications and renewable energy markets, announces today that it has made the first commercial sale of its proprietary technology, OntoTM. Following a trial using the EP1000 evaluation pack an order was placed and fulfilled for our EP1020 brush-coat product for adhesion promotion. The challenge was dramatically to improve bonding between a construction-based industrial coating and a high density polyethylene. EP1020 provided an effective and convenient solution; the treatment was applied to the substrate onsite and delivered markedly improved adhesion performance. Whilst this was a one-off sale for a specific problem, it demonstrates the unique capabilities of OntoTM technology based products. Philip Spinks, CEO commented: "We are delighted that our EP1000 products have solved a difficult problem for our customer. We hope this is the first of many orders and believe that this will demonstrate our abilities to a wider market. Our products have a place both on the production line and in the field."
thanks mate , hope we all see a result here shortly , good luck with whatever else you choose . last one leaving the board please turn the lights out lol . hopefully we should nt have too much longer to wait
was in rose on the way up from .84 , sold out at 3.2p a few weeks ago but still on my watch list mate .will add interfox to my watch list . keep an eye on clon , ratification or deal news could be very soon . alo was a bit of a disappointment sp wise , but still holding as they have nt produced any bad news . hope you are well , keep in touch .
with regards to selling themselves , they have disclosed that they have sent out 14 trial samples . on a time scale this could mean some positive news in around 6-12 months depending on what the application is for . still plenty of time before the company runs out of funds , as they should have around 18 months left in them before they come looking for more . guess its back to the tumble weed lol
they just need that first deal to give them traction in the market place and inspire belief in the product . todays results are just a reminder of the potential this product has should the world wake up to its benefits . I get the feeling that maybe the product is too tomorrows world , I think they might have been better flogging evo stick for a pound a tube some days lol
