This is nearly 2019 PBT and at these levels is far too cheap. This should be around £3.50 with forward momentum it has got going for it. A good 2024 will see it past £4
Silly question. How can revenues be £170m but transactional value hit £1b?
On the Beach said adjusted pre-tax profits came in at £23.6m for the twelve months ended 30 September, well ahead of estimates for PBT of roughly £20.0m, while total transaction value surged 26% to hit £1.0bn for the first time in the company's history.
Revenues rose 19% to £170.2m amid a "strong demand" for holidays across its core addressable market and strategic expansion areas, with growth across both passenger numbers and average booking values. Earnings per share were up from 6.4p a year ago at 11.6p
Incredible set of results and forecast....wouldnt be surprised to see the £4-£5 highs again next year
Crazy valuation currently, todays results took me by surprise if im honest
All IMO

I don't know why this isn't already approaching £2 sp
I guess that is the Aim casino for you
Well, I certainly would not rely on the share prices published on this site - they are wildly inaccurate and was a reason why I cancelled my premium account plan - the adage of buy the rumour and sell the news will reflect in increased volume today. Todays uplift is reassuring, though it is probably premature to consider the prospect of a dividend.
£1.20 definitely looks like history!
Good morning V
yes 81p and 120p both in rear view and dividend to return 2024, This will head to 150p very quickly. My target is £2.
Looks like 120p could be a history ,
Adding on any weakness. Should fly up.
They read well to me.
FOMO here but trim or add, decisions decisions. 81p was that a dream?
Gazzboo, as EasyJet and Ryanair have posted record revenues in their recent announcements, there is implication that OTB will have had decent revenue flows (AND PRESUMABLY) profits. Tour operators/travel agents/holiday companies have automatic leverage in that they receive payments up-front. There is also the VAT relief that is enjoyed where the majority receive refund each quarter from HMRC. My brother sold his tour business almost 20 years ago allowing him to retire aged 40 and never understood how I, as a light engineer was always in trouble financially. He just had no concept of late payment, a VAT bill each quarter and how it was necessary to source the same raw material and reduce reliance on suppliers.
It’s been a great couple weeks thus far….
Looks like a break to £1.20 is on the cards soon.
Results 5th Dec anyone adding?
What a satisfactory profit before tax would be for the next trading update?
Does the outbreak of pneumonia in China have the potential to cause new travel restrictions?
Difference is that IQE is speculative, they need to show a strong potential to place their compound semiconductors in the market, and show that through sales agreements, not jus showcasing the technology.
I agree with Volcano. I’d be looking to top up/buy if a retraces to £1.05. If the market rally continues though, this could easily push this a lot higher after a bit of a rest. Similar to IQE I’m in (no connection ) which is on a similar rally from its bottom.
Let's see if it can break 120p first. This has been the reversing point recently. If it can I sense it could move quickly to 150p.
Where do people see this rising too?
April 2018 - £6.18
March 2021- £4.93
Jan 2022 - £2.97
Are we likely to see a run to those levels?
OTB is up 20% in a week , it is time to take some profits .
The level for notifiable short positions is 0.5% in the site shorttracker.co.uk
There are no substantial short positions in place since September. Yesterday saw a very decent rise for many equities on the rumour of falling interest rates next year. Safety in gilts/bonds/treasuries but capital growth from equities. Consumer discretionary spending is alive despite the cost of living crisis reports that sells newspapers
Shorts must be closing fast...good stuff
