On The Beach Group PLC, down 4.4% at 146.39p, 12-month range 81.24p-181.60p. The beach package holiday retailer falls, after a slow start to 2024. In the year-to-date the stock is down 13%.
The US once online should drive this up.
Thanks for letting us know Alas....good luck to you also.
I've sold the remainder of my holding today. Good luck to all.
Should get more than dedino
I am looking for a least 10% today
Up up and away!

Looks like 140p was the bottom for now and up we go.
Fairly narrow trading range Mary, but if you're core is sub 100p makes sense.
I like the cash position.
Part added rather than miss out still keeping a sub £1 average cost and moving down for a long term core.
Trimmed a fair bit at 178p but holding off readding although tempting expect 120/130p but the time in near.
Way undervalued, been surprised by the sell off in this share post NY, but seems to be market wide. Strong business model as well as cash position, and strong management team with cooper still chair. expect this to fly
Added more last week.. I expect at some point an acquisition.. they have a lot of cash. The director buys are very strong
IC today: £75.8m of cash on hand + further £108.6m in trust = almost 74 per cent of market value. Sizeable gap in balance of payments, but " from an acquirer’s perspective: even if the trust cash is netted against payables, then 52p of every share (currently priced at £1.47) is still backed by cash. Analysts expect this buffer to grow to around 60p by the year-end."
Yeah yeah Alessandro, so where else would you advertise to appeal to the mass market particularly those with money? Don't expect an answer...are you short?
I bet the investment in advertising is huge by judging the amount of adverts on TV. That will eat into the profits.
Reports that Wizz and Ryan Air see passenger numbers soar but with reduced load factors. Guess OTB aren't worried about load factors, focus being on selling the holiday packages.
Should be over £2 now. This and others are well undervalued currently. The market will catch up. Be patient and add more if possible imo
At the risk of stating the obvious….. interest rates, tension in middle east that could cause oil to spike, job security, political dithering etc. FWIW, I believe that the SP has had a good run and borne out with recent news. Thngs are in the open and there is no ne news.
Managers are not buying and there are no rumours. Investors are selling the facts and will return to buy the rumours in time.
New here and after looking at financials I'm very interested. things are going well so what's keeping this down? there's no debt risk, it has plenty cash and growing.
Yes held pat at 148 as expecting lower. Fres and HOC is the action today.
Of course, markets never go up (or down) in a straight line but the more mature markets do tend to move in unison. Admittedly, as a rather lazy owner of equities/investment trusts etc, I tend to sell holdings on UP days and buy on DOWN ones.
A correction of 16% or thereabouts this year from recent highs does provide temptation to buy as the share price had become rather frothy. I don't think we are in oversold territory, but the price is becoming ever more tempting.
Is it being oversold?
HI MARY X
I follow you every where !
I think you/like me follow the daily top and bottom 5
I have a watch list of 40 companies I've researched well and if they trade down I buy, I like your system explanation on PFC this morning, I'm similar but 50 % twice on a down max.
Polb ready for a top up ?
Any ways, bought 149p
