Charting is completely pointless for AIM stocks. Only worthwhile on well established companies and or indicies, FX etc. even then its not easy but at least they obey some sort of key trading levels.
Sorry guys there is no repitition of charts, and shapes otherwise Chartists (like Zak Mir) would get more than 10% right (“by as soon as the end of next month”).
At least we are in agreement that this is a good entry point … my tea leaves told me as I had a golden cross form over my Ceylon blended left overs.
Took a look at a few charts over the holiday period, ORR seems to have formed a base around .26p with a new trading range .26p to .42p since January, current levels look a good entry point IMO.
Of course add to the mix expected news which has been telegraphed by the new CEO.
I moved an old pension into my sipp with ii, agree this price wont be around for long, i was panicing it wouldnt transfer in time, took 3 weeks so well pleased
Good work Sean. In that position I would just be delighted with the MM's for not shifting the price, and allowing you to fill up under .3p.
Fabulous price in my opinion.
All in my sipp...
Confusing myself here, I bought 3 x £10k, price didnt change if it was £1k, hence the 3 big bundles
MMs playing the sp again. I bought 2 lots of £10k, approx today and they are labelled unknown, so news soon then he he
Any chance we can move on from worrying about the Lanstead deal?
It's really not a problem and it's nice to know the day to day running expenses are covered for another 18 months and the exploration is also funded via JV. Therefore, there can be no doomsayers coming along and talking placements.
Yes, the necessary selling by Lanstead will cause a drag on the SP but only as volumes are low at present. We will still climb when the news pushes us that way and I'm confident that volumes will increase on that news to make that selling irrelevant.
Let's concentrate on the positives and ensure visitors to the chat are seeing all the good reasons to invest being discussed.
The best way to deal with the Lanstead agreement is to push the share price as high as possible.
I doubt Lanstead would want to negotiate out of the agreement - they win whatever happens to the share price - other than bankruptcy...
With Tim's surprise exit from the company as to whether the new CEO has the experience to get ORR out of the Lanstead agreement going forward. It's obviously holding the company back!
Always the case with a CEO change, the uncertainty always tanks the shareprice a little at first.
Added £10k
He is qualified for the job imo, i liked the emphasis on explotation of assets, thx Tim but I think the Lanstead deal probably didnt do him or us any favours, news soon he said... will hopefully see a drop in sp next week so i can buy even more at this rock bottom price, gla
I think it's a given that he will buy in. There's absolutely no chance the rest of the leadership and board would have skin in the game and not the CEO. Whether he believes in it or not at this point, there'll be a lingering expectation. The question is just whether he has the liquid cash to invest right now or not
In his interview he said he has been eyeing oriole up for a while, his skills are helpful in the exploitation phase for Oriole and that they potentially unlocking a new gold province for Cameroon.
That being said, why would he not buy in at this level? I think that alone would make the share price rise back to high 0.30’s /0.40
Salary, yes he gets paid but if he really thinks this will go the distance why wouldn’t he buy in.
The incentive for the company to do really well is far greater if you have money on the line, not just a monthly salary.
I don’t believe in him getting gifted shares which is good, share holders would have probably moaned at that.
Let’s wait for a directors buy RNS.
Actions speak louder then words.
After the interview the SP plunged 10% but I don't think we should hold that against him as many people um... & err...
At the same time, I don't recall Alexander Mining making me any money many years ago but maybe my timing was wrong?
That was then and this is now. Surely ORR's assets will speak for themselves? If it is the next GGP it doesn't matter much who's in charge but the sooner ALL Directors emulate Eileen's investment the better! 2p by Xmas?
I agree Kutzz.
It is noteworthy too that we are still in the foothills of the discovery uptick on the Lassonde curve both at Bibemi and Mbe.
The great hope is that there is a lot of news to come.
The next obvious waypoint on value after increased discovery will be the creation of a small mine at Bibimemi.
Let’s not forget there is currently a 7000m drilling programme underway at bibemi. Which already has an estimated resource of 400k ounces @ 2 g/t.
There doing resource expansion drilling and then testing two different targets NE and SW.
There is Oriole and BCM working together on this.
A lot of invested because we want to see what’s in the ground and there is a significant drilling programme underway and we’re about to get results. I’d imagine they will post pictures on Twitter and a bibemi update showing mineralisation and drill cores. (Gold pipe time) This excludes Mbe which has huge potential.
It’s easy to get bogged down in the day to day but if once again, oriole can uncover big intersections of high grade gold. Then we’re knocking on the door of 1m oz’s IMO.
That puts the mcap around £50m / 1.5p
It is now! I am hopeful that this actually gets back to .35 Plus and then when news does hit of something "left field" a significant re-rate. GLALTH
Almost blue
Clearly something material is going on in the background here, so much could happen, new JV's, Senala news (sale?)
The new CEO clearly has a different skill set to TL who was mainly a Geologist.
This looks an excellent entry point, the RSI has fallen from significantly overbought to neutral in 8 weeks, plenty of room for upside therefore, from the interview yesterday there could be some unexpected news shortly.
Sounds like a plan, GoH. The quality/prospectivity of the asset is key imo.
P.s like how this is getting cheaper again so we can top up
Judging by his skillset he seems much closer aligned to where Oriole is right now and what it needs to "exploit". Also, the fact that Eileen had to use her contacts and the "exploration" phase has moved on and a relevant replacement was found so quickly, this feels like the board has made the decision based on what Oriole needs right now.
Whatever Tim goes off to do, I hope he stays in touch and maybe he can sell us something else he finds that we can "exploit" in the future.
