What do you think the chances are of PREP going Ex prior to CF's August 9th Meeting ?
Basically Zero Chance because its just speculation!
What makes you make a statement like that?
It wasn't a statement but a question. My reasoning was that back in April I think, CF said that he expected 2 spin offs to be rolled out by the end of the month. Clearly the timing was off, but it did suggest that he believed that both spin offs were imminent.
I cant remember now if there was a meeting shortly after POLB went Ex, but given that POLB has been spun out, perhaps the other one he was referring to is literally just around the corner ?
Could be Herne, hence I'm going to add speculation to get ridiculed as my guess why the SP is dropping to absorb the spin off.
I think the only one who mentioned Prep recently was the constant ramper Eskers..
I bet he works in Bucket Shop
Heren - i think CF said news of 2 spin offs should be announced in April. The DIM platform was announced on 9th April and of course we've had POLB successfully spun out now.
I still think DIM progress will be next as it's 100% owned and probably requires only minimal funding, however Prep may not be far behind.
Hopefully we will get some news on the 9th August
Assword - dropping to absorb. The value is only 3p to the OO SP.
Bit harsh bronx, eskers is a great sleuth and has provided many a rumour that have turned out to be true.
To address for a moment the negative mood generally. Many who are long, and bullish, have simply disengaged from the conversations here. Sure the SP is in the dumps but this company is in great shape. Many, like myself, have given up trying to convince others of this fact. That just leaves a handful of very negative and in some cases panicking posters to create an echo chamber of pessimism. Not great, but for some, being in the red is just too much to handle and so irrational feelings are vented, recycled and fed on this board.
Patience is all that’s needed but for sure CF has his work cut out to shift sentiment here.
BeContrarian: +1 for what you've said! I just ignore the boards now, rarely anything useful on here nowadays sadly. I'm in no rush for the share price to climb, happy to wait 5 years really.
I am with you on these sentiments, BeContrarian.
Firstly, I appreciate Eskers' efforts. Eskers has been correct several times, and any wise person knows that research such as this is not an absolute science, so it must be taken with some appreciation for the risk. Sometimes the company changes their plans, sometimes the information is off, sometimes misinterpreted, etc. That's how any intelligence works.
And I am indeed amongst those happy to hold, but currently with little to say.
The company has a great future, but there's not really a huge amount to discuss until the spin-offs and other business developments get further down the line: DIM spinout; Prep spinout; POLB progressing its development efforts; the UK Govt deciding to exercise some of their Covid challenge study contracts; etc.
These are amongst the things we're all anticipating, but are already well-known quantities that don't need revisiting (yet), and the required ingredient is mostly time.
Plenty to be excited about, and content to be patient. Happy with the way things are moving so far.
'transformational' and 'back to 40 pence' were CFs words two weeks ago. So far - zip. You'd like to think with a presentation planned for 9th August, that will change.
There is a persistant seller (TR?). Has anyone seen a stockbroker forecast for eps this year for OO? We could then get some idea of the true value and add on the spin-off values to get the real SP. At the moment it is guesswork.
Broker notes are 47p and 50p respectively with Finncapp and Arden. Less than 50% at current price.
Oasis I really don't think the broker price targets are important because they are in house brokers.
What matters is Institutions are not stepping up..
I'll say it again, Cathal Friel said in the last podcast that he had sorted out the managed sale of Tony Richardson's holding but obviously that's not happening..Why not?
Or better yet why couldn't he convince Tony Richardson to hold on?
I think CF has alot of questions to answer!
And yes where is Maurice Treacy?????
Oasis - How can I get hold of the broker notes? I am more interest in the numbers forecast rather than the SP.
oasis - well at conservative 4 x rev and assuming £50m for 2021 that's c30p a share for the core business.
DIM could/should be worth c£70m so that's c10p a share and you already have 3.5p for POLB. Prep and Immutex later in the year.
That's why CF is so bullish. Give him time
Tony Rochardson isn't selling
You need to look elsewhere
@Dote59
A little fiddly but Finncap provides great free res. for PIs
Go to
https://www.finncap.com/research-portal#/portal/finncap
Type ORPH in search
Then follow instructions
Swapleber - how is that a helpful thing to say? CF has confirmed in an interview there's a disorderly sale of TR's shares that should be almost finished, yet you're here saying its not that. Where's the elsewhere you've looked? Rather than being enigmatic about it, why not just say who you think is selling and why?
There are other individuals with large holdings now depleted
And these individuals weren't put on this earth to dispose of their property as you may see fit!
To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true.
Given that it is Given that has been mooted eleswhere, is true.
Whether it is Given is not a given.
You don't know what you don't know, until you know .
Only when you know what you didn't know, you may know if you did know, or not. :)
Many thanks Scooby and Oasis for your help.
Does anyone have a link to Arden research?
