this is my worst purchase of late - lousy performance
and 340 now. there goes the support. Only channel left, and its quite steep. Will add more but not now.
At the moment, we have a bearish pennant forming on the 30 mins, 1 hour, 2 hour and 4 hour candle. all within a downward channel that started since late Nov 21, and the sp is just above a major oblique support line, on a downward channel in the current cycle with some margins to go up towards 360 ish where there is a major oblique resistance waiting. I suspect we will see a short burst but overall i dont think we have seen the bottom yet.
at 0900 this morning, the sp touched FIB R2 D (360) and faltered down below FIB R1 D (357.9). There is a FIB Pivot D waiting at 354.5 and likely will test this sooner rather than later for liquidity. this is key.
Failing to stay above this line, likely we will drop down to the lower FIB support (S1, S2 and S3, the lowest is at 345). if it doesnt hold, the next support is the bottom of the channel ((>315). You can make the charts yourself (rather than believe me, I wish we can share pics on this forum).
NASDAQ is down, $SPY is expected to go below 4000 and I suspect we have better opportunities to top up.
Anyhow, each to their own. I might be totally wrong. its not financial advice. just my own nonsense.
good to see another director buying I suppose
The general market is spooked
rather disappointing performance of late - what are the catalysts for heading to £5 you reckon?
So many things going economically not helping, this share is almost on its year low again. definitely patience needed
and we will see this moving towards 500p initially.
Taking advantage as and when.
Added on drop. Saw big buys yesterday around 420p mark.

Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc
Entry into settlement agreement with Department of Health and Social Care
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc (ONT) reached an amicable resolution of the dispute relating to the contract dated 30 July 2020 for the supply of certain LamPORE™ devices and testing kits and associated services by ONT to DHSC. DHSC and ONT entered into a settlement agreement without any admission of liability, which included agreement as to the contract being brought to an end and includes a payment of £50 million in full of amounts due to ONT under the contract.
ONT expects the payment to be treated as non-recurring COVID-19 testing revenue during the fiscal year ended 31 December 2022. Therefore, ONT's prior guidance for Life Science Research Tools revenue in 2022 remains unchanged.

ONT is looking very strong just before the results,
morning all, some dates to keep in mind this week, outwith of geopolitical issues.
1. Tuesday, VIX expiration
2. Wednesday, FOMC
3. Friday, Quad witching day (please google term if you are not familiar)
have a good morning and a wonderful week and watch out for those dates.
Many shares now picking up including this one .
Should move towards 500p+ , but few drops in between expected.
@danrh, I used to own PacBio and Illumina, made good cash on the swings. RBLX is another good one. I am hoping the UK market is less volatile than US which are sentiment rather than fundamentals driven at the moment. anyhow, it drops to £2, I will drop my pf and buy ONT.
From tea leaves reading - FIB Support level 3 is down at 374.5, the lowest FIB support at this price range. we are now sitting on a minor oblique support line and if that goes, it goes.. saying that, we have been on an upward trajectory since we hit bottom at 361.5 on 7th Mar. if geopolitical sentiments is brushed aside, we should see above 411 come 22 Mar. but who knows.... its all tea leaves reading anyway, and if the last few days on the market is anything to go by, it will be wrong.
Dropped enough for me so I shall take the plunge and sell an etf for a small profit and buy half of what I want tomorrow and see if I can get more cheaper before Friday .
End of lock up period has ended, so it's a free market again for ONT! Markets getting hammered by Ukraine situation. Hard to call the bottom, but I guess could be sometime between today and 22nd March. 2021 results should be in line or better than expectations and 2022 revenue guidance should be strong. However, if compare marketcap to Pacbio, ONT shareprice could have a way to go down. I have my funds ready to Buy (for mid/long term hold) if drops to £2/share or below, which isn't impossible IMO
where is the bottom
...and SP not looking for much right now. Can see a cheap buying opp coming soon.
again for quick profit.
I took more at 507 on Friday and made nice 8% profit this morning .
That was a nice quick profit. However main holding not for sale.
ONT is volatile for now
