Colin mentioned some timelines more to do with antigen back end of the year. The paragraph I liked the most was
In terms of regulatory approvals to a certain extent this is beyond out control and the process of gaining approval, ensuring the necessary validations and studies, does take time, but we are confident with the performance data that we’ve generated to date which shows that we have gold standard tests with high sensitivity and specificity
Reason being he quotes " gold standard tests", more than one, we have five on the books including RTC so if they all come out high standard, gold standard then we are in a great position.
This interview is fine, talks growth, talks different aspects of the business. The mologic test is in transfer to odx, being done now then CE marked back end august to sept.
So they are talking deals, they are developing lab and poc tests, they are sensitive and gold standard and obviously confident this virus will continue for sometime
67,000 new cases in India today, a big order from there
My only slight worry is that the 18 countries evaluating are prob all ex commonwealth countries thought they would jump in both feet on the tests
Well said raharh that was meant to be a thumbs up
Well said raharh ??
Interesting board again. Definitely divisions forming between PIs who all invested due to what they saw as potential. It’s a shame differing expectations of timelines interpretations of what constitutes early / mid / late are causing friction.
I think the interview is Colin being Colin. He is a very approachable CEO and responsive to PI queries. The two sky interviews were challenging for different reasons. When Colin laid out his timescales in the previous interview I believe it was as he saw it and I believe he has integrity but we all know there are other parties that need to move at a pace also such as the government.
My takeaway from this interview is that everything he has communicated before will happen but he knows PIs are moaning in some areas and possible the India and PHE is taking longer than anticipated and so his message is ‘it’s still happening but it is taking a little longer’.
Hopefully over the next 6 weeks as news comes through this BB can come back together as investors who are happy at reaching their exit point or have decided to ride the Odx train for longer.
In the interim let’s not fight, I would rather have Sam pullc@x for entertainment than PIs arguing and getting personal when we are invested for the same reason, to make returns. GLA.
How is the 'talk' of order just talk? They have given a very clear timeline for orders for say India asI just posted, they have two and half weeks to delivery on that yet..
Rayof****e - So I m a paid deramper cause I aren’t saying it’s gonna be £1+ tomorrow. ODX need to stop talking and start delivering. All this “talk” of orders is just that. Talk.
Unexpected? I would say imminent
"The Mologic lab-based ELISA antibody test is CE marked and we have received first orders with the test being evaluated in 18 countries. India has approved the test and we hope to realise sales this month."
If youve been around since Todd Kozels days and youre still a paid deramper you should be ashamed of yourself. Worst deramp attempt ever!
"Given Colin's interview today, an RNS this week will be unlikely. My guess is as good as yours peeps but I'd say next week."
DHSC is still in go slow around a number of issues and Boris is on holiday - plus the media is too busy getting indignant with refugees crossing the channel to focus on the uptick in Covid across the country...
...I'd say end of next week before any significant RNS. But DHSC and the Cabinet Officer could get their fingers out and prove me wrong.
The last time I heard a CEO mention the words “manage investors expectations” was Todd Kozel at GKP. Hmmm. We know the POC test is working it’s way through approvals. But we ve heard nothing on anything to do with Mologic.
The challenge for us, particularly in the COVID-19 space, is to manage investor expectations, particularly with the timings for regulatory approvals and then how quickly we can generate commercial traction
Even the antigen tests are only just around the corner now with Ce mark in September. Next 6 weeks are going to be huge.
