I expect next Omega RNS will be to notify shareholders of confirmed orders for Visitect antigen or ABC-19 antibody tests. Just have to ride a bit of SP volatilty in the meantime, but as Omega shareholders, we're used to that, right?
And from 30th April RNS
'Whilst waiting to receive this confirmation, Omega is currently supporting the Government with additional cassetting and pouching services for other COVID-19 antigen lateral flow tests that are being deployed in the UK.'
For whatever reason, Mologic are allowing Omega to sell the Mologic antigen test (rebranded as Visitect) for their own (Omega's) benefit. Whether that involves some kind of commission payment to Mologic, I don't know. But, it would be interesting to know what's in it for Mologic.
Must though Cat, be an existing contract between ODX and Mologic? No!..........
Yeh, they're producing Visitect antigen (Mologic antigen rebranded as Omega) and ABC-19 antibody, so, even though no confirmed orders yet, they must be pretty confident someone's going to buy them.
Last post before this a green box. Someone doubtless spouting negativity try to create a downward wave, for his/her own selfish benefit. Crake on son!
Got that Cat.
My bit is ODX are already producing. There must be a contract....with whom! For what?
@Avizadum1
Last night's TT discussion was in connection with TT of the sovereign test. If the govt choose Mologic as the sovereign test, then one would expect no need / delay with TT, since it's already been done. If the govt choose something other than Mologic test (Avacta, for instance), then a further TT would be needed.
I may be missing something......on last nights debate about TT.
Did I not see a video last week of a machine producing tests......viz; the machines have been installed and the relative tech has been transferred......or was that my imagination again!
@Bedhead: Have you actually read the DHSC contract and the government press releases
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-government-announces-partnership-with-british-rapid-test-manufacturers
"Omega and Global Access Diagnostics will have the capacity to produce approximately 2 million tests per week each by the end of May, helping scale up the government’s rapid lateral flow testing programme across the country."

Target Dates: Equipment installation target end date May 2021
Tech Transfer expected to take 8-11 weeks once a test to be manufactured is confirmed
Given the mologic TT approached 18-20 weeks ! , if we take 8 weeks after the end of May is end of July
Which one of those timelines is inaccurate relating to the DHSC contract ?
“Please share what has been posted that is inaccurate or false” ?
For one:
Your Misleading and inaccurate timelines relating to supposable delays in manufacturing of tests relating to dhsc and tech transfer which none of us are aware of as the information hasn’t been forwarded to us yet as the company don’t know themselves.
They’re just your manipulative thoughts to try to create negative sentiment.
We know your games!!!
We can all name many many examples...there’s just one for you...if we all look through all your posts it’s just drivel...nonsensical
Folk on here apparently binning people 6 months ago when profile only 3 month's old :-)
jackdog - if it does go down and bounce back very quickly will be great. if anyone is caught out just has to wait for the next tweet or rns of director sell/ calamity colin talking down the share!
Penance, it depends I suppose whether or not the test is Mologic. No TT needed if Mologic, TT needed if not Mologic. The timelines are detailed of pg 81 of the Omega contract (or, pg 83 of the GAD contract).

@Bedhead : "DESPERATE ATTEMPTS TO DERAMP WITH INACCURATE AND FALSE STATEMENTS'
Please share what has been posted that is inaccurate or false ?
Why does everyone think DHSC news is imminent, no one has committed to test selection timelines what so ever?
The only facts we have are that the UK government are committed to commission 2M per week capacity from ODX/GAD by the end of May (https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-government-announces-partnership-with-british-rapid-test-manufacturers), Capacity, not tests and we now know they machinery is expected to be commissioned to those timescales.
Beyond that nothing is certain, as Colin keeps telling us,
If we can get independent commercial sales for Visitect, then everything may be different.
Computer...have you any information to back up your claims?? or Twatcher or Penance..... It’s just drivel i see
I haven’t seen one RNS released that states what your saying.
Penance in deramping overdrive in the bin you go idiot
@Bedhead. We know what you believe, but is there any information to support your happy clapping?
@Penance : Unfortunately Innova were quick to market and the government bought big and bought often, we are in the position now that the DHSC don't need to rush any further orders until they plough through nearly 350M tests from the last innova order in January, July timeline would fit with the current stockplile becoming diminished
Here they go again.....Comp twat her*****
The DESPERATE 3 .....
Sorry to spoil the deramp party girls.
Majority here have the patience and believe we are on the cusp of a mega rerate....ODX have got themselves into pole position....Investors here new and old who have done the research know what the company has achieved so far in being able to be a Uk manufacturing GIANT producing 2 million lfts per week creating substantial transformational revenue.... 7 avenues of revenue NEWSFLOW IMMINENT
Target Dates from Pg 83 of Contract:
- Primary and Secondary manufacturing facilities work expected to be completed by early May
- Ancillary works TBC and may take longer
- Equipment installation target end May 2021 (dependent on OEM delivery schedule, which is expected to have variations, and availability of engineering support for installation and commissioning)
- Tech transfer expected to take 8-11 weeks once test to be manufactured is confirmed. Duration dependent on complexity of transfer.
*if it is Mologic
@Wolf: Why reduce yourself to personal attacks, offer some research of your own to counter @penance views.
@Penance: I think the timelines in the contract are likely to be more accurate that Omegas narrative. Equipment commissioned by end of may (aligns to governments press releases), the big question is test selection, if it is Omega then we will hopefully be in a position to manufacture straightaway, but the DHSC may not issue actual purchase orders for 8-11 weeks, if a different test then 8-11 weeks makes sense. So end of July at the earliest,
@Penance: Director sales in the 90s and then the "worried misinformation will drive buying on monday" Tesla tweet looks to be drawing a line under where they think the share price should be.
My personal view is that Colin doesn't like the fact ODX is owned by PI's , and knows he cant attract II's on the open market if the price continues to rise, he has already stated no placing so how else is he going to attract them?
The additional information provided in friday's contract release clear demonstrates they were in no position to deliver 2M tests per week in april and knew it, but were more than happy to post on twitter to boost the price for PDMR sales, now i suspect he's looking to keep a lid on the SP so its more attractive for IIs so hence the deramps.
