Currently Angola has only one oil refinery. The 2nd oil refinery Angola is to have will start up in 2024 (the Cabinda refinery) Angola will be less reliant on imported oil from abroad at higher costs. More refineries are under Construction as oil production is increasing in Angola
What’s great here for Corcel is the working partnership with the state oil company Sonangol. The same company that is in partnership with Gem corporation (Uk) in building The Cabinda refinery (Gem corp are investing £10bn in to Angola) I’m sure there is plans for a steady flow of oil to go straight to the refinery in 2024 from producing sonangol fields!

Yesterday’s RNS stated : The Company will provide a further update before year end regarding its strategy relating to the development of its Cole Creek and Barron Flats Shannon Units.
See that how you all perceive but I look at that and it says to me the board have had a plan in a place if the JV didm’t materialise. The assets they hold are huge after all.
TO or another JV?
JV termination is the uncertainty … what did they know if they pulled the plug or was it Copl that pulled the plug as they know production is now higher and can get a better deal? The statement above says they have a strategy going forward and guidance due on production going forward due by end of Dec, the wells are hopefully producing more bopd as stated they should be in the final quarter. If they aren’t it’s a negative … It’s currently limbo. Could go either way. But with the current MC and the huge assets a producing oil company has its very very cheap imo if the strategy they have can resolve everything

I’ve joined you both Davey and Earl. My opinion markets not woke up to that RNS this morning. N4P lowest I’ve ever seen it £2m mc unbelievable and news breaks on Nuvec and sirna producing positive effects on cancer tumours.
Don if those figures are true then that’s an exceptional start.
£80k per day - £30m per year … if it’s stable … if it increases say 5 folds £150m per year
We will see.
The volumes shown from the coindex website don’t seem realistic but there could be huge revenue potential anyway
· On track for spud of Tai-C in the second half of September
This is what says to me more likely this week than next week otherwise it would state on track before the end of September but the statement I get does give wriggle room. Sure it will be in September but I think it can land this week. You wouldn’t want to be out now if you want to hold for when spud is announced
