Wow! Looking great. 1000% increase from RNs. Crazy cheap imo
Flying now! Could be 40p in a blink of an eye imo
Lots of gaps to fill on the way up imo

Amazing news! Can’t buy any now. NT all the way ;-)
Beechknot. I don't think the price is moving because of your link to GB news :(
It's more to do with one of the biggest events in Crypto/DeFi on 02 Nov. when JP Morgan carried out a live trade on a public blockchain. They used the Polygon blockchain which operates off Ethereum Layer 2 and is one of the most efficient blockchains out there (dApps are growing fast on this blockchain, especially in countries like India). You can check out how JP Morgan did it at:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RFjN7bRCAI
So why is this important for OBC? Well, if JP Morgan needed cross-chain migration of their, or clients crypto assets (JP Morgan has a lot of them) they'd need a "bridge" that's cheap and very fast so that thousands of transactions/second can be "bridged" reliably and securely. Which is the fastest bridge out there for Polygon? Yeah, you guessed it...
https://bridge.umbria.network/
Hats off to OBC for choosing Polygon!!!
This is info only. Please DYOR

ARB up 23%, OBC up 21% (approx).
Excellent start .Can move be expected to move to OBC .https://youtu.be/q_43styB7Uk Can this be one of reasons why seeing good move up .
lol. ARB -16% today. OBC flat. Totally different companies. BLU is closer to OBC and that is -9% today
@barnetpeter
Looks like you spotted another one!
The level 2 application here has genuine significant commercial potential
Look at some of the other level 2 payments operators that have gone from a standing start to Billion Dollar market cap.
If adopted more widely, it will become a major cash cow for OBC.
Most importantly......the tech actually works and does what is says it will so just a waiting game for adoption to snowball.

Bought yesterday, seems the next spike is due! Stroke of luck for a change…
Only a 23% spread....
if crypto rallies. Tough to buy and the herd are not here yet. Not many sellers at below 20p I suspect.
Last I looked, both up about 25-26%. ARB fell a lot over the past fortnight.
OBC is nothing like ARB. I don't understand how OBC is trading at less that its cash + ADVFN holding given it also has old losses it can offset against any tax but that is the market we are in. If Narni works out it will come good. Otherwise it seems like it will trade at a discount to its holding in ADVFN and any cash position. #dotcom
That last autumn 'buy (a small amount)' tipster have anything to say at this drop to 12p/13.5p? The lowest for how many years? And why the greater punishment here when as ARB is up if we're talking about the blockchain sector, if we must.
Is it 'Last one out, please turn off the lights'?
Reported 1.1mln as at end of 2021. But there was a raise of 1mln in August 2021... Everything rests on narni. No other reason to be here imo.
How much cash does OBC hand can’t find it anywhere
Also, what is going on here?

"Online Blockchain PLC - Ongar, England-based cryptocurrency firm - Adds Optimism to its portfolio of bridges. It is a Layer 2 Ethereum scaling solution has a USD1.20?billion total value locked."
Hurrah! some progress and a positive RNS.
The SP is still totally unreflective of the value because of the sector link to BTC.

Umbria Network joins Arbitrum and Fantom ecosystems and adds Optimism bridge
- expanding Web3 presence with development and collaborations -
Online Blockchain plc, administrator, co-ordinator and adviser to Umbria Network - https://umbria.network/ -, today announces the latest milestones for the platform's cross-chain asset bridge.
Umbria's Narni bridge, which facilitates the cheap and fast transfer of crypto assets between different blockchains, has added Optimism to its portfolio of bridges: https://bridge.umbria.network/bridge/ethereum-optimism/eth Optimism, a Layer 2 Ethereum scaling solution that uses Optimistic rollups, has seen significant uptake within the DeFi space and currently has $1.20?billion Total Value Locked (TVL)[1]. Using the Narni bridge, users can now onboard to this popular network cheaply and quickly. In testing, Narni produced the following results in comparison to the official Optimism bridge.
Optimism bridge - cost: $0.52 speed: 5 minutes
Umbria Narni Bridge - cost: $0.32 speed: 2.5 minutes
The Narni multichain bridge now enables bi-directional transfer of tokens between the Ethereum and Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Binance Smart Chain (BNB), Arbitrum and Optimism networks. ..."

Bennster, thanks. I know that none of us can be sure as outsiders, but your logic seems fair enough to me if no unpleasant surprises/black swans or should I say more black swans with things globally as they are. Your comments about updates and publicity are, of course, very much what I think too. This has shaped up to be one of my least successful shares ever, of course mainly 'cause I didn't bleedin' sell it all in Feb '21 :-)
It's an absolute nonsense is this SP.
OBC is valued at less than its stake in AFN - and that assumes zero value in any other activity at all.
This share has always been a catfish - assumed to be a BTC related share so it bobs up and down with Bitcoin when it's go no links to BTC at all.
The value proposition here is the technology for cryptocurrency bridging - a prototype FX for the crypto sector, but the updates and publicity are utterly non-existent leaving even those of us who have a shred of belief with nothing to pin our optimism on.
In the mean time I believe the new broom at ADVFN has a chance in the next 12 months to make the 17% OBC own go up in value enough for me to wipe my nose.
Delferg in March when (s)he was a regular poster had said there were 80k transactions on OBC's bridge? How many now? I assume not so good if the share price is where it is, but I am merely assuming.
I see that many a poster has gone including one who last year said this share should be 500p IIRC. Let the trend be your friend, Tom W would say in his BBC TV show back in the day when I was still young and had hope.
Reading another forum with very few OBC posts, one person remarked that OBC had risen with 4m volume in Feb 2021 (I think) because people had muddled it up with ARB. I wondered about that volume and spike at the time and never found out why there was that spike. Another poster on that other forum in July 2021 said 'short to 20p' and posted again in April 2022 with 'nearly there'. Obviously I wish I'd dumped the lot at that spike even if I bought back in now for some reason, like hopes about the AFN stake. What exactly is there to hope for now other than the AFN stake? NFTs? The bridge? Pizza 2-for-1 savings for the boys? Anything? I certainly don't have another 20 years to hang around.
Did someone dump 143k shares? I hold OBC and am slapping myself around the face for buying more a couple of weeks back.

Luckily I think that tipster (was it last year?) msaid only to buy a small amount. What is his target price now after he tipped them at whatever it was back then (was it 30p or something like that)? Perhaps I don't want to know. These shares were 25p approx about 20 years ago as ONL. Painful.
I wonder what that tipster with the large following on social media says now. He did suggest a small punt all those months ago (was it this year? I can't remember), but I wonder what he says now.
