.. today. Let's hope that SP will slowly start going upwards. There is life in this company, a viable business. Too bad, the huge dilution with the rights issue, but with solid projects like the one in Poland, the company may stabilise. No activity on this bb. No interest from shareholders or no sharholders that read/write here? GLA
https://www.platts.com/latest-news/coal/kiev/ukraine-november-coal-output-down-44-year-on-26957443 If that shortfall was continued on annual basis it would take out some 16 million tons of annual coking coal supply, over 1% of the entire world's supply. That should certainly help to tighten the market especially in Central and Eastern Europe.
Why can't Ukraine ask NWR for coal? They seem to have acute shortage of supply there at present .
and I've thrown away the key. So 'll either make a tidy sum or it will whittle away over the next year or so. Guess I'll have to wait and see.....selling any at the current rate would be plain stupid.
At this prices, the only way for SP is upwards! In order to quadraple , all we need is some improvement in the prices of coal and this can easily fly off. It is risky, indeed, but it comes with the potential of huge returns of 1000s%. I have bought quite a bit, and would happily buy a lot more at this price as soon as free some money from other shares. Can anyone please tell me what the rights issue price is?
I wonder why do people buy this share! Is it because they hope of making a quick buck if the SP moves by a 1-2% or is it to average down, or is it that they believe in the long term holding? I am invested btw, stuck with high price. If I sell, I will lose! If I stay, I may lose everything, but I might get mine back and if all is well , bag a profit! GLA
will determine the future for nwr but at least they have tackled the debt problem and put them selfs in a position to exploit any upturn but they will have to watch every penny until they start making good profits . im in and quite happy to take the risk it will recover imo gla
I hope I am wrong, but wasn't the placing done at circa 2p? All things equal, if the price of coal goes up to the levels it was in 2011 when SP was £10, technically, this share might reach 20 times lower sp than that. 20 being the increase of issued shares, hence = 50p. If the company stabilises, I hope, sp should rises. Sp is low now also because of the danger of insolvency. Once this is past, I might get money back with a premium too. I appreciate that this is a very simplistic surmising as SP depends on milion and one causes...
i think the 4p placing price is far more acheivable than £10 in any century , the point i was making the business has a value after all this restructuring plus nwr have i cant remember 175/185 million euro,s going forward which is far more than the mcap of 73mil so it could rise to reflect it bare bones value just a thought gla.
Just had a look at how my £2500 investment was doing and it turns out that it would cost more in dealing fees to sell it than it's worth. Bliss
Are you for real? You think you can make us all jump and buy and raise SP? It won't happen, mate. In the absence of other market manipulation (surely not from investors as on this forum), SP may only rise if the company financials improve. Then and only then can we dream of not only 4p, but may be £10 one day this century!
see this going back to at least the placement price of 4p 73.5mill mcap on the enlarged shares nwr got was it 185mil euro as working capital as a result . so i recon a good rise over the next few days imo gla invested.
i am not good with these restructuring stuff,so couldn't get what to do with those Nil paid share?
this morning at 1.83 i see this rising above the placement price at some point maybe 5p a fair chance of a profit imo gla
The court hearings are to approve the restructuring
G morning ,.why this share went so low to this price ,i have read on RNS but could not work out what is the court case?
Technicals have pushed this share down to this level doing a 19 for 1 rights issue many people would not be inclined to take up their whole rights and therefore would sell them pushing the share price down to the issue price where the rights have zero value. Post the transaction I estimate the EV will be around EURO 500 million. That is too low for a company producing 9 million tons of coal a year, 2/3rds of it coking in a location where there is a supply shortage. A few possible positives for the company is a pretty sharp decrease in the Czech Koruna and Ukraine's (a fairly large coking coal producer) coal production has been impacted by the conflict there. Coking coal is currently at a third of its peak, if it can recover a small part of that the current valuation will appear absurd.
Reading the prospectus the final date for acceptance of the offer is officially 29 Sep. Results of the take up will be 30 Sep. Brokers would want investors instructions a few days ahead of 29 Sep. Either way looks to be underwritten by the significant shareholder.
Millions of buys, hardly any sells, yet SP is down! I suppose there is a reasons for buying here so much - someone knows what will happen. I thought SP will be pushed up to encourage shareholders exercise their rights to buy new shares. As this did not happened and the deadline to accept new shares is past now, perhaps the wait is now to get the new shares on the market and sell them at hight price, i.e, the price has to go up first. How? Only by manipulation, something that only big guys can do. Usually, flooding new shares takes SP down. Well, SP is already so much down and there is nothing new for the market, so the market has factored in all that is to come. Hopefully, the only way is up now! Hopefully, the price of coal will push SP further up too. Too bad I put too much £ in this share!
I got post from my broker that either buy this much equivalent shares with written instruction and cheque or sell through dealers or take no action. In case no action, will b removed from your account and your account will b credited for any charges etc The date they mentioned was 22 sep which is already gone. So no idea what they will do
