Well as its almost at an all time low, they can't have many to sell down here I guess.
Offered 0.59 way above the bid on dummy sells, looks like thye need shares
Any ideas what news is due - or why this has fallen so far?
Na I don't think this is punt money, must be news
Well theres some fairly big trades if its just punt money!
Hahaha I hope so as I just bought in this morning !!! Certainly looks like somethings up
Don't look now but you seem to have a million buyer. Is this share known to be leaky?
and moving nicely on low volume
Waiting for the coal price to recover... Will it ever go up??? Why the rise today? Something in the brewing or someone thought 0.5p is too cheap to miss?
just been looking at the historitcal prices for this and it was really high in 2009 etc. Can't believe a share can plummet this much. I'm lucky, I got in and out between 7p and 11p before it started it's death spiral. I would be looking to get into this, with a new/ish management and oppurtunities for a small punt... 0.5p? Sounds dangerously cheap. The lack of information on this is frustrating.... anyone heard anything recently?
Good if it happens! I am sitting on heavy losses here. However, I often see that analysts are wrong most of the time.
The coal price has taken a pounding by the suprising strength of US gas supplies, an unusual warm winter and the slowdown in demand in China. This has however finally forced suppliers to bite the bullet with significant cut backs in production in America, China and by Glencore in Australia. China appears to have run its coking coal inventories down significantly in the early part of 2015 and US coal inventories are well down from the levels of mid 2012. Countries like Vietnam and India are seeing strong growth in coal imports and US gas prices have increased 20% in the last few months with the decline in the oil rig count likely reducing gas production. All in all it is a set of circumstances that could easily wrong foot the market and unexpectedly result in a shortage of supply as large reductions in supply combine with increases in demand.
The problem is that coal prices aren't likely to rebound.
Hard to value as trading as almost an option on the coal price. If coal (particularly coking coal) were to stay at current levels then probably not much value in the equity. But if coal prices can rebound by 20% + should have significant upside.
Been in here for ages down about 80%. Would be interested to know what people value this company at?
Shorters meant to buy NWR shares, but have bought NEW by mistake! Now panicking, as not enough NEW shares to buy back! Monday should be interesting on NEW.
This was a disposal of shares. Why director is selling now?
10k shares cost you only £100, so you are fine . The problem is for shareholders who bought at a lot higher price and a lot more shares. Will they ever see any meaningful return? All things equal, the share price now after the dilution should be around 50p. But it isn't because there is a lot of uncertainty if the company will have cash to continue as a going concern after October this year. The price of coal is low and will remain low, so unlikely we will see any rise in sp any time soon. Yet , there is still hope sp may go up , say 5p-10p if the business continues and the production volume increases.
This company is going bust! I've watch it fall from 1.36p. I have a investment in this. Over 10,000 shares. It has strong revenue coming in. The company is still losing money. It's an good company from reading there annual report. Just have to hold and wait and see where this goes!
