The more I think about it, the more convinced I become that the sale news is just the start. The main event is much more interesting and will lead not just to an admittedly substantial price rise, but a total rerate of the company on all levels.
Estimates for the sale proceeds seem to be in the 3-5 million range. Assuming the lower value, and valuing the rest of the company at 2 million, we're onto a sp of around 4p. It will of course, on the day spike much higher. Better to be in now, rather than join the herd on the big day!
You do sometimes wonder who is behind these avatars, and what the purpose actually is. Obviously someone, for whatever reason doesn't want the sp to rise - or not yet at least. Put off a fww PIs to free up shares for a bigger investor maybe?
You mean bust apart from the 141k from the placing, the 68k cash balance and the revenue from the Membrane Processes Division, and of course the sale proceeds? Sound a long long way from bust to me Gary.... In fact it sounds like an imminent boom.
It's been an incredible year for SNT. A tiny AIM company that has started to land Govt. contracts, has ambitious expansion plans, has no debt, has billionaire backers and board members, has a net cash position of just under 1 million - and is already profit making!!!
Mapp, you're looking at the wrong villains here. TCG went bust because it owed over 3 billion quid, and wasn't making enough profit to service the debt (let alone ever repay it). Blame for this lies completely with the directors who got the company into this mess. Not with shorters, banks, hedge funds, the govt., auditors or Santa Claus. The directors. Period.
