I know the suspension happens on the 6th. How long do they then have to declare what their intentions are? It's normally 28 days, isn't it? but they can apply for an extension, right?
Yeah, I've got a non insignificant part of my portfolio in DOR, but have the majority spread about now to try and mitigate it. I have fingers crossed for them, but EVO will make a big difference. It's been up at 1.6-ish recently, so from this point I believe we shall rise.
Got a nice buy in at 0.0955 for a few quid. All fingers crossed for the next few days/weeks/months/years... haha
I wasn't expecting it. I would have expected a retrace as that's how AIM tends to work. I originally made my profit on the way up to 2p, then missed the 2.3p, but I'm back in here a little higher than this. Overall this means I'm in profit, but down on the current investment. I wonder if any of this is linked to the troubles in China, esp as we've got a little bit riding on the deal. Hopefully that's priced out of the SP now, so we wouldn't see any further losses (bar a minor dip on the day) if they decide they don't want to deal with MIO. Anyway, I don't think many people could've seen how most of the shares were going to dip. IF we could, we'd be rich wouldn't we as we'd see the future. Hopefully people haven't lost (too much) money on this, but that's part of the game.
I'm deffo back in now. Might hop in and out, but I couldn't resist. I've topped up or got in on a couple of shares today at these low prices across the board. Now, as long as Greece doesn't murder the Euro whilst I sleep, I'll be ok and I won't have to worry about my better half suffocating me with a pillow for losing lots of mohoney.
just been looking at the historitcal prices for this and it was really high in 2009 etc. Can't believe a share can plummet this much. I'm lucky, I got in and out between 7p and 11p before it started it's death spiral. I would be looking to get into this, with a new/ish management and oppurtunities for a small punt... 0.5p? Sounds dangerously cheap. The lack of information on this is frustrating.... anyone heard anything recently?
I didn't have any trouble through my broker X-O around 15 minutes ago. I suppose the stock is violently lurching around, so that could explain. Although the markets are a bit unpredictable today and yesterday. I had expected a rather more general downtrend today again, but some things are rallying a little.
...this morning. I'll be looking to put more in again and join the ranks of MIO once more. Sadly missed out on the 2.2 moments, but they will come again shortly. Just gotta wait for my broker to acknowledge the cash I just put in... scoundrels.
I'm getting 1.75 to 1.95 on my broker on a quick quote (not an actual quote I can accept so that will vary a little). I will have to reassess my buy in and to bring it up I think. Had wanted sub 1.7 but my may settle for 1.7-ish. Ill be brining in my profit I just skimmed from some of the Horse Hill oil shares this morning.
I agree, I'm going to set a limit, as I can still make money on it. I was always going to rejoin at somepoint. I was just trying to squeeze every 0.2p out of it ;)
Yes I have missed it. Wanted to get in at 1.68 I saw earlier but not in the office today. Still see a profit in this... But just a naff call. Nevermind. Nothing ventured and got my profit from the last 2p.
Thank you for the good natured response. I'll see where it goes tomorrow and buy in again if I see a dip. I usually only play with small amounts of money here and there. It's worked out mostly but I've learnt to try and maximise the fluctuations within the day when buying. I don't buy and sell in short periods normally, as that just gets painful and I have a day job to pay attention to. I've also learnt not to regret much when it comes to shares as long as I hit my profit margin. If there's a dip and I miss it, never mind, I can't regret that either as I've not lost anything as I won't buy in. Missed opportunity, but nothing ventured nothing lost. I hope all the luck in the world to you too and hopefully I'll be along for the ride tomorrow :) and if it dips again tomorrow I hope that's a change for you to buy in some more at a nice price.
I do agree with you actually. I've taken some profit from this, so i'm not so bad so far, so I suppose it's easy to say some things when you're in that position. I think that people buying in now will still stand to make a lot of money, please don't get me wrong. I'm willing to wait for another day, or two to buy in again and consider topping up after that if it drops more.
will be that this will retrace somewhere down to 1.45p and then spike again. glad I sold out at 2p instead of waiting for the 3p that some people were going on about. A profit is a profit, especially over 60% up. Now I can look for a good price in again when it goes down. I said last time it was 1.33 and missed out by a few pence, but wasn't that far off. Hopefully will be ok now. just on previous behaviour, charts etc, but everything changes with news doesn't it. I'm excited for this share, but some of the short term price rises that are mentioned here are dangerous as you can miss out on some decent profits as the spikes disappear quickly with MIO.
i'm not cynical at all ;) this should go higher of course, but I wonder if it'll take a couple of days of realisation.
only 1.75 by the end of today.... you know what AIM is like... pffft.
It won't reach that today, I don't think. It's only got so much momentum. You need to go ramp this on other boards ;)
sorry I was just teasing really.... I have good hope for this share to be honest.
on the way down a little...not quite timber :P. Nice time to check the sells and top up maybe?
I misjudged this by a day. I still got shares in it, but I was hopin to buy in at around 1.33 before this rise, but I was a day too late. Nevermind. I'll get the next random 100% rise next year. This share does it once or twice a year.
