Morning :)
That's wealy wealy helpful petey308, fanks. You is a knowledgeable nice man. Sharing all you worldly wisdoms to help everyone here. Good ol' Ainse is here also I see. Good job most people forget what went on before though eh!
This company is quite probably doomed just like Afren. If enough research is done here by pi's they will come to the same conclusion. Good to see your true colours shining through though pete... nice and brightly. If only to show so many were right about you all along. All the best
The things is, they are so often worth every penny, I mean, look at Toby Hayward and Alan Linn. Where would we all be without them? www.employeebenefits.co.uk/benefits/pay-/-bonus-and-reward/ceos-paid-183-times-more-than-average-worker/107360.article
Can anyone help me with my Afren Associated 'Wordsearch' I am compiling for a bit of fun while we wait for something to happen here. Maybe some more words could fit but these are the ones I have so far. Enterprise, Oil, Shell, Petroleum, Hydrocarbon, Licenses, Toby Hayward, Adhoc, Alan Linn, Serious Fraud Office, Adminsitration, Salvaging, First Hydrocarbon, Nigeria, Lehman, Value Destruction, Afren, Bond Holders, Scandal, Egbert Imomoh, Investigation, Drilling, Water, Restructuring Businesses, Acoustic Monitoring, Committee, Corruption, Working Relationships, Destruction, Shareholders,
It could be just a rumour Tony but we shall see I guess. In truth, I'd be surprised if they weren't after the recent goings on. What do you make of this 'one week to do due diligence'?
The Serious Fraud Office are apparently investigating Afren and it's murky dealings or so I hear. They really need to take a good look at this scandal sooner rather than later. Is there anyone out there who still thinks that there is nothing fishy going on here?
This story looks set to quickly get a lot more interesting Idlv.
Thanks for your post Ynot and I think we all are suffering here in some form or other and I am in deep as you know. I don't like to dwell on it too much but there are many here in a similar situation so when they post, whether the content is blowing off steam, repeated facts or not, it often reminds us of what has gone before and keeps important things fresh in the mind, after all so very much has happened here and it's sometimes difficult to keep track of it all. I'm hoping that ALAG can succeed and I'm very glad to hear that you genuinely support them also. They deserve all the support they can get. I am also leaving them to get on with their job as they have a good bunch of talented professionals working with them, which is reassuring at the very least. I'll lower my profile if it helps them and remove it completely if that would help matters. Whatever they end up achieving, I will be grateful for their effort. Atb
Since the birth of ALAG I have supported them as I believed in them, when others said they were just 'bleating on' and wasting their time. If you had joined them early on we might not be in this mess now. I just took exception last night to you telling people what they should post that's all. Your crown is broken. People should email ALAG with info before putting it on here IMO. Not openly discuss what might be sensitive facts and information and in need of researching further before it can be covered up. I have to go out now, have a nice day.
This is a bb where pi's voice their opinions, frustration and concern to other pi's about the general sorry situation that has been forced upon them. Since when have you made the rules on what is posted here? When pi's receive or acquire information that is useful or they contact someone who is linked to Afren in any way, they can email ALAG. What you seem to be implying is that unless you have something specific and factual to say, don't bother. Well that Is Not what bb's are about. TW Are you Simon Hawkins brother in law? If he told me to get out while I still can when I rang him just after the leaked RNS which he never even acknowledged publicly I would have done so. Instead he said 'It's tricky' I hope it turns out well for you. You see I had lost so very much already I was hopeful that the so would stop plummeting and that the enormous assets touted by the company would enable the company to come good. Little did I know what the other chap Alan Linn, that Ynot yourself and Pete were all so keen on, had in store for us. I thought we were close to his heart? A LinkedIn confession from SH is most welcome but let's not paint somebody much whiter than they are. I mean, how well do you really know him? If you know him for that long and that well that you can vouch personally for his character as you constantly post what an honourable man he is here, you'd have known what really going on surely, because he did? Just my thoughts Anyway time for bed now Nite nite
I bet you've taken it on the chin and in many other places billy, now I have to filter you as well you silly little billy as you should be out in the playground and not blocking up this board.
Having just used the filter button again I came across this the other day. An interesting read even if it is off topic and not related to anything here at all. It's better than reading the constant barrage of abuse that's gumming up the board of late. http://www.plata.com.mx/mplata/articulos/articlesFilt.asp?fiidarticulo=266
Well done Idlv & ALAG. A very positive result.
YC You're becoming very good at putting GG in his place and it was interesting reading at the same time. I hope Harcus Sinclair become famous for standing up for the man in the street against these b'st..ds Law firms like that are a rare find and its very reassuring to have them in our corner. ALAG are gathering momentum and the media is increasingly getting behind them. Who would have thought it, when Idlv started off the crusade against the thieves with a few posts on a bb...how he and they have grown since then, ldlv never resting, even when on holiday...an impressive and driven man. The type we need at the helm if we are to succeed. Anyone not supporting them now are either in the other camp, not invested or plain stupid. They are the ONLY chance of redressing the balance here. I wonder how long it will be before the serious fraud office take a peek? Weight of public opinion should make it happen together with the noise that is being made. This isn't the quiet transition they were hoping for! So come on FCA, SFO, what are you waiting for? We have ourselves another SOMA here, we're ready for the front page of the FT. Big thumbs up ALAG, Idlv and all those involved.
'There must be another rule somewhere that if the company fails to pay its fees it is de-listed by the stock exchange, but i cant find that.' Of course there must be, surely, do keep looking. The truth is the rules seem to be being made up as they go along. Somebody is hurrying up this 'process' to a breakneck speed because they obviously feel that they have to for some reason.
I just sent you an email.
Like I said, many people thought you were the real deal and at first do did I. The same people who have got behind ALAG and IDLV, because he/they has stuck to the task, is far more transparent and I know that they are fighting for shareholders. Sadly Ynot, I don't believe you ever were. Have a nice day.
You are the true force against the evil that is being attempted against all shareholders of Afren. Your team work tirelessly and if anyone thinks they have a better chance of securing any justice from this hideous situation, they are mistaken. Being an observer for a long time here, it's plain to see that news-hounds and other entities are now taking note as the stink of corruption in this company seems to be permeating through to the main news channels & newspapers. Things are coming to light because I believe, of your relentless pursuit of the truth and justice for all concerned. That's all I'm saying tonight but I needed to say it because as each day passes I see who is really making a difference here.
Personally speaking I wouldn't trust those that were ASOG (now defunct) as far as I could throw them. Let us not forget that it was they who held many conversations in Afren shareholders names and we never got to hear of what was said but we do know that the worst possible scenario happened after these talks. I have always had a problem with the content of them not being disclosed to SH's and at the same time the staunch support and backing that ASOG publicly gave Alan Linn on so many occasions. The same guy that screwed us or who is attempting to. TW jokes about going on holiday at the very same time that Ynot went because I found it both coinincidental that they both would go at the very same time and also the same time that Adminstration was announced by their buddy Alan. Who was apparently ignoring them?? And then they weren't seemingly annoyed or up in arms as you would think they would be. Ynot announced on this BB just beforehand that he had arranged a meeting with Alan Linn. But he was going on holiday the next morning? So was the meeting going to be at your holiday resort with just you? I'd love to know? Now we have Pete B trying to create trouble with Idlv over WW's apology, which we all read if we opened our eyes, and TW is taking a back seat but says he wants to join ALAG. But he said he already joined!? What are we to believe? I can only think that the dead ASOG group's frantic posting tonight is because they didn't like what they saw On TOM WINNIFRITH'S website. One would assume that the now defunct ASOG would even now have been up in arms about it? For the right reasons of course, they did lose money in Afren right? Ainsley is going to prepare a nice little statement for us all tomorrow, or was it Monday? Why bother, your disbanded and really not much use if the past is anything to go by. What did any of you acheive apart from giving Alan Linn your your seal of approval to be CEO and votes for him from those who believed in you? Don't trust you ASOG and your actions to date are why.
