Hmm interesting Goldman Sachs have takeon out a CFD on this of long. Do the MM's ever lose?
Must be a traders delight. I’m not that brave and always hold for gold. This time it may well be diamonds we’re producing ;)
The current enterprise value of this group is sub $500m, making it a prime candidate for takeover. A purchaser will get in return a $2.1bn infrastructure hub and one of the largest oil and gas resources in the region. The hydrocarbons are there - what is required is a larger partner/purchaser to triple+ current exploration spend to get them over the line. Yes, an interested party could wait and hope a better price opportunity emerges, but given the scale and commercial readiness of the operation (they are already producing) then it is difficult to believe that only one party are going to be interested. Kazakhstan has been the recipient of more inward investment than any other ex soviet state in the modern era. Goldman Sachs are working to maximise the value of the enterprise. Of course there are risks, though I suspect they sit largely in the lap of the shorters. GLA :)
Sorry wrong stock/Board
They don't trade on NYSE!
Are you sure??
Another solid if not spectacular day, 8% will take that all day, everyday.
Lets get some news in and then the rerate will truly start. GL
Up 4% on the American market. Lots of buys coming in now.
It’s a chat board, fella. I’m happy to listen to engaging points that differ from my own, but so far it hasn’t been that illuminating :)
Please change the subject title, or better still don't reply to the knob
Nickel - as “extremely sure” as you were calling this a sell at 7p? 350%+ is rather a large error :)
Of course you are Nikel. Waiting to hear what you have to say.
If in the meantime you want to compare positions, my twit id is jellarochford1 - but of course you want want to compare. LOL
GL holders
Wigammer - I’m extremely sure of my position :)
With over 100 million on the balance sheet i cant wait to see the Goldman Sachs review, long way to go until real value is realised here and everything in the most recent updates confirmed the board is doing everything it can to bring value for shareholders in the short term.
Hopefully its not long before GTU3 is released as this is also due any day.
BOD stated they intended to bring more value to shareholders when SP was over 50p and began entertaining ideas of takeover discussions so shareholders can prosper, they couldnt help the fact mm’s took this price where they did based on the rns early October having already confirmed in August the new well being drilled wasn’t showing commercial flow. Mm’s played on this because they knew there was an active seller and took them to the cleaners taking 2million shares at 6p, since then they’ve been lifting this day by day and will continue to do so until we’re back above 50p.
If in the meantime we do get news on any of the multiple fronts its due, we really will get going north very very quickly. Strong buy and hold. GL
today
Another 426k bought up by FPP. Nice!
RNS out - still loading up!!! Says all you need to know! Ignore any noise, this is only going one way!
way to go here - massively oversold. Would not be surprised to see 50p plus this month.
Simple question, nickel. Are you now going short. Yes or no? I can only assume the reason a straightforward answer is not forthcoming is because you are no longer quite so sure.
Nice and steady
Wigwammer - will answer you in full later.
19k and 22k , should start moving up , tree shake over
Thanks for the reply BTB
Well, at least im looking at the right things then, whether they are right is anyones guess I suppose but at least im learning!!
GLA lets hope this continues and averages 10% a day all week :)

take a candlestick chart since Dec last year and see where either you have steady movements along a narrow range or bounces off points (support/resistance).....no real guru status required :)
imo we have resistances at around 38p, 48p (pretty strong here as it wiggled around this price for almost a month on the drop), 60p and then around 81p...95p/100p also as well as a psychological. round number resistance point but most here now will have sold by then :)
Excellent BTB, although on Tradingview its showing R1 at 31.93, R2 at 39.47 and R3 at 58.46?
Being a bit of a novice at this so could you or anyone else confirm if I am looking at this completely wrong or if those are their suggested resistance levels?
Just trying to do my own research but as I said, a bit of a novice!!
