Stop losses are a most useful tool although many disagree using the argument " they may recover' etc., sentiment has no place in business especially when dealing.
All Out Now & bye on here I thought NMG PI's had been on the sauce when they said this would be over 1p. A couple of years ago I even believed them & the BOD here. I think GEO could even be higher than that, 8p maybe......... DYOR & dont get too sentimental. Some losses have to be taken along the way to making a profit when investing. I learnt the hard way especially here & if my views have at least helped one other investor to reduce their losses then I am happy but in the end two things are true, "You can take a horse to water.................." " You cant polish a T........" Regards to all, inc Pdub & VX. GLA B57
Looks like high volume today, and mostly BUYS if the reports are accurate. Just trying to bring a little bit of cheer to the board!
I see you recognise yourself then vx still shouting you know best, you are such a sour individual. Yep consolidation was always on the cards only a naive investor would not expect that to happen with the number of shares in issue~ will it be successful ?We can only guess at this stage with the huge resources at its disposal it should be ~ time will tell.
I like the bit about using letterhead from five years ago.. because it's probably true
Lol vxrandall 'I'm thinking of getting rhinoplasty because my nose seems to get bigger with every RNS issued'
Your last 7 words. That. Not all shareholders. Just the ones that buy "retail"
Firstly I am invested here before anyone says anything although I never really post as it seems some people are very good at it for various agendas or reasons. Time will tell but consolidation can work and off course sometimes it doesn't. Marl - I am invested there and it worked only a few months back. FJET - I jumped ship pre consolidation and yup didn't work there. I guess everyone needs to decide for themselves if they believe in this company and what they are saying / doing - if not please do everyone a favour and sell up and stop posting on here - its draining on everyone. If you believe in it then that's your choice WIN / FAIL.
Maybe, but they could have at least waited until after some half decent news and a positive move in the share price. That way longer term investors might not feel that they've just been shafted yet again. Either this isn't possible because there is nothing on the immediate horizon to enable them to do this or they just have utter contempt for shareholders.
A "mining" company ...and try his hand at running a raffle. Which technically he has been doing since 2011 anyway, handing out bits of paper to all and sundry and rewarding the "lucky" few with prizes
Dear mug punters The game is up. We've diluted the life out of this over the past 3 years in order to keep our personal bank accounts full of cash. Now we can't convince even the worst bucket shops to give us any more because our reputation is dirt, we are synonymous with false promise and non delivery and there simply isn't the liquidity to facilitate flipping so much as a pancake worth of shares. Let's we're going to do what all good AIM dogs do and try and pretend like it never happened. With a hundred to 1 consolidation we can start diluting the hell out of it again and we will even change the name so people forget who we are. Luckily we've got a load of old headed paper from 2011 when we were first admitted as Gold Mining Company which bears only the initials so we can reuse that and save money for ourselves. Oh...and ps....we desperately need cash....kids go to see grandparents in Perth for Xmas and flights aren't cheap, plus I'm thinking of getting rhinoplasty because my nose seems to get bigger with every RNS issued. So expect a placing in a minute. Reckon we will need a couple million. We will get the shard crew back to ramp the life out of it while they join in the flipping. they'll be back on the boards before you know it. Thanks for being our loyal mug punters, Your indefatigably dilutive leader GK
Another aim rip off long term investors will lose all but everything what a joke
They don't have. New name GMC, JVP is CMG, wonder which bright spark thought that up! Placing ahoy. Still have to spend 6 mill on Bolnisi as per license agreements. How long until they're back at 4.7billion shares again after paying for the BOD's lifestyle.
I appreciate the apprehension surrounding Consolidation. Through it you re no worse off. I experienced it at SOU years ago and it worked for them. I m not in NMG just passing through. GLA
so bad they had to change the name. you could not make it up
What am I missing here?
It's just conceivable that they have decided to finally pull their dacks up, stop being drongos, have a fresh start with less shares in issue and a new name, and get down to some hard yakka. After all,the Quarrymen changed their name to the Beatles and the rest is history. So fair dinkum, don't be a Galah and give them a fair go, Sp may be blue this arvo........... Probably not though.......
AND in 3 months, the placing
So they say the number of shares in issue affects investor perception. Well wouldn't any halfway sensible investor look back through the regulatory news and see that number anyway? And more importantly how that number came about? Totally bizarre, it's like 'errrr yes we're not Noricum confetti issuing Gold anymore we' re the Georgian mining corporation or whatever it was and we certainly do not have a long history of broken promises!' So there...

Good evening Manlord. Firstly I do have VX filtered (for quite some time) but saw his latest input on phone when not logged in. Second when posters start rubbing folks noses in it that is exactly the type of response they deserve. Sorry if you are not Impressed but I can live with that. I would add that my views on people offering negative posts on shares they are no longer invested in are well known and unlikely to change. Hope you are well. Regards. Pdub.
Pdub - I expected better from you. How you haven't filtered VX is beyond me :-) No idea what he/she said and wouldn't believe nor pay attention to it. ML
This company's resources show great potential. I appreciate that with AIM, investors want jam today not six months down the line, but at this SP, it is a share to buy and wait for an update on progress at the expanded site, on further drilling results and the commencement of mining even though the latter will no doubt not be until 2017. For those who doubt whether to hold or buy now, re-read the RNS from 11 August on the finding of increased mineral deposits. The action the company has taken to shelve mining the initial deposit makes such good commercial sense and for holders of NMG shares a much higher potential SP. The shares are nearly back to the price they were in February this year when the announcement of healthy drilling results were first announced and are in an oversold position. Have patience and you shall greatly profit.
