... until the fat lady gets antibiotic-resistant tuberculosis.
Oh well bang went that theory lol
Bakky are we still holding on for 7p ? Looking good for a jump from 5.5p back towards 7.75p Let's get a deal done or sell this to Thermo for 27p plus and we can all be happy. Got to be a very real possibility of a takeover now.
999. That's got to mean something.
Maybe there was no option to settle beforehand, or on any terms that made the business viable (for UK market).?.. By issuing the writ, they inevitably slowed up business in patent covered regions so Illumina got their desired effect for a while.
What one should see after a potential settlement is worked through is a lifting of the confidentiality requirements meaning that a better value of the existing contracts is understood. This should then create a momentum of its own. Indeed some could argue why not settle in the first place, before, or during trial but we are where we are, which feels oversold given the potential of a settlement and the likely scenarios thereafter
Although some will get frustrated on yesterday's RNS lack of details the key message for me was SL's statement that the scope of the judgement affected only the UK. That should provide a limiting factor on any damages and impact to operations. It also suggests what the basis of the negotiations may be. With TW's statements that forecasts to breakeven this financial year will still be met despite the judgement and that in 2019 onward massive profits will be made this seems oversold just on existing revenues. Although a deal obviously takes time to work through and formalise the statements already out there should provide PIs some guidance on where they stand and the likely scenarios that will happen.
This was also the figure given by TW, not a huge surprise as I imagine they have the same source. He also reckons that the RNS relates to South Korea
Not two Twix .. Not even had a drink yet
Natdan, Two has not really been negative his views are very well balanced and just because he is not part of the ramping brigade he should not be tarnished with the brush of negativity. He warned people of his views and concerns to a loss in court and many like my self had the view we would win. As it happens Twix was yet again correct. Flipper posts some excellent views and research and gives a very good view as too where and what ate options are next. If you want a schizophrenic view on things follow my opinions.
@ approx. 2m according to Kurt on advfn,,,asked his source and he reckons it's AR...make of that what you will!
Waiting to be right on this investment though, but aren't we all. Nice rebound under way and we will have results around December
I call it as I see it and been way more right than wrong, Had plenty of comment and advice singling you out as a piece if work and you seem to prove it whenever you post. The original dig was clear from past posts and you call it a compliment. Lies, lies and damned Natdan
Twixalot, I doubt whether a poster exists who has been so consistently negative on a share and its BOD but who has supposedly remained invested, and even topped up so regularly. You must be sporting substantial losses....or you are a fake, or both. That's all pretend ex-pat.
I'm afraid many, many deals are not shown for what they are and the intermediaries (market makers) have lots of tricks to stimulate volume ... which is one of their main interests, along with the biggest difference they can achieve between buying and selling (although usually very short-term because of their "job description"). Delays in bb reporting IMO have very little to do with it but delays in reporting big trades (allowed with limits by the market) can distort what is happening behind the scenes a great deal.
Woo another compliment. Lol Yer, perhaps I can go to agm compliment. Natdan , shove off - that's s compliment btw
Twixalot wasn't meant as an insult but a compliment. Perhaps you've been sitting in the sun too long or whatever you choose to get up to in Ladyboyland. Was merely putting forward a scenario to posters- I don't know whether it's an option for NIPT
whilst writing.......payday posted......understand better now...thank you both
hi jackdaw....thanks for that..........but I was of the opinion that the LSE was the ones in charge of this bb/share trade deals and therefor all buys/sells should be shown as what they are, would be grateful for a better understanding.
It is automated and indicative only, computer says buy or sell depending on where price paid sits in the spread between bid and offer, the spread changed often and listings are delayed so often vey wrong.
In this case someone/something wants to buy low and hence wants to fool us that most deals are sells. Then you get scared and sell, while the smart Alecs are taking shares off you at a discount. And sometimes they want you believe that the deals are buys when they are actually sells, so we all buy, price goes up, and their mate in the city sells several % higher than he would otherwise. Then they buy each drinks on Chelsea, The Hamptons, etc etc
can someone explain as to what benefit it is for buys and sells to be so often shown wrong ?
Big gap from here to 7.75 should jump quick
Buys at full ask it's going up again. Bakky forget 7p by Friday let's make it 8 haha
Everyone's favourite Natdan . I've had a pretty good track record from lacklustre landgrab to cautious court expectations. Offer us something of value without the usual insults or personal comments for once.
