Good to know, thanks
It is a very obscure site that looks to review Japanese food and drink items so seems an odd one to use if someone is trying to spoof.
I know there are people who trawl for bits relating to the company but as you point out it does seem a bit coincidental.
I'd also like it if it was true, guess we need to wait and see.
Have just seen this on advfn, anyone know anything about this?

For those of you who aren't looking into legal action I hope today's events change your mind:
- The bod organise a discounted placing where they load up and Pi's are limited only gir an offer to come in that sees the majority of them well looked after
- Bill Chang gets a discounted lab in Asia
- Pi's are left to hope for another offer that in the scheme of things will mean very little for those who've been here longer than 6 months
Disgraceful
In total we have interest from people representing 2.5% of the shares pre placing.
Depending on where you take the SP from determines the size of the claim but we are working off 6p to be conservative. Bill Change or Steven Myers would get us over £1m based on the price on the day before the placing so would be ideal. I also expect they will have had far more contact with the bod than the rest of us put together and may help inform our claim.
Davand, the money comes from D&O insurance that the directors will have taken out.
The reason they have set it at £1m is that this is the minimum level that will interest companies that insure / cover costs of claims.
Thanks to a number of you who have reached out and expressed an interest in taking legal action.
To summarise, we have been told that we have a number of strong points that could be used in any action. The issue is that so far we would be looking at a claim just shy of £500k. To look at taking this forward we have been advised that the claim should be at least £1m and ideally 2 or 3 if we want to go down a funded / no win no fee route.
To that end if anyone has any contact details for Steven Myers please could you let me know. The only other person with a decent holdings who may be open to speaking with us is Bill Change who I will approach separately.
Thanks

They think we may have a case but want to do some more digging first and have asked for any additional information people may have that isn't in the public domain.
For a class action there are a few options including the law firm funding it, a third party funding it or the claimant's funding it. The better the case the more options you have as some firms will only look at cases over a certain amount, which is enhanced by the size of the claim so the more claimants the better.
Also anyone with any information that could help the case such as correspondence with directors or anything that you've managed to dig up would be extremely useful.
Just to provide an update. We have been speaking with a well known class action law firm about taking action against key individuals for the conduct of the company in the past year.
One of the things required to bring the case is sufficient people joining the action. A number of people on here have already provided their details but more are always welcome. This is not an action against the company and any actions taken shouldn't damage the company so there are very few reasons not to get involved.

I look forward to hearing from you and please spread the word to any other investors you know
Just wanted to post an update for the group following discussions with a number of law firms.
They believe that there may be a case and have given us the name of a couple of barristers who specialise in this area to provide a second opinion.
Does anyone have copies / access to any of the recent broker notes on the company. Would be interested to know what they said in view of the placing.
The lenders had to have called in some of the loan, why else raise so much and decimate the price in the process?
And why wasn't this disclosed? It would be a material event and subject to an RNS
Jamrock, why isn't legal action the answer? The board and nomad have not acted in the way their roles dictate.
There is no action that can be taken against the company, only those that run it.
As long as the company isn't directly impacted what is the issue?
Personally I have lost a lot of money and fancy my chances in court far better than a 7x increase in the SP to get back to the pre placing price (not to mention a further 6x increase to take us back to where we were a year ago)
Does anyone have any details on this?
Have contacted my broker to try and submit a proxy vote. I assume it is being held somewhere obscure
Keep them coming

Hope you all have a good day and can put this shambles to one side for a while and enjoy yourselves.
A number of people has so far expressed their interest in a class action, which bodes well for the new year .... Unless you are or were a Yourgene board member!

The more people that consider taking action against the board and nomad, the better. If it takes TW to help get the message out then so be it.
Davand, I've spoken to Tom today. Looks like I inspired the main topic for his daily missive.
