I certainly think that there is very little downside from here so I see it as a free option, albeit one where I am underwater. I'll give them 6 months to see if they make any meaningful progress. To be fair to Gillian it was a shareholder who mentioned the conduct of the outgoing directors, which she didn't deny.
Lots came out about the outgoing board members and their vested interests. It would seem we are better off without them and that those in place are more competent. They are targeting bigger contracts, like the recent hospital ones, and a few are being progressed but nothing can be announced until the contract is signed, often there are trial periods up to 6 months before the contract is finalised. The buyers in the recent placing were there and they seemed upbeat, so one can only wonder what information they were to given before they parted with their money.
I am going and have a few questions for Gillian. Unless I get some satisfactory answers I will take great delight in voting against her. I have nearly 10% of proxy votes to cast.
I would imagine that flippers from the placing are also partly responsible.
I have my proxy letter from my broker and am all set to attend. Anyone else going?
Thanks Campo. Am tempted to attend in person
DM Tweeted:.:You know when you've hit on something when you have US tech journalists you've known 20 years who are more excited than I am at what we are doing. Two choice terms overheard today "there's disruption and then there is carnage", "every major tech VC is going to have a cold sweat" He's at it again
Looks like DM is doing a one man pr job judging from his Twitter feed. All very interesting!
Hi Campo, Have you got a copy of the resolutions?
Placing brought the price down to 12.5 and the warrants attached attracted people who tried to flip the shares to end up with some free upside, which has resumed in the current dismal SP. Given the Asian interest we have been told about K think the whole UK placing was badly handled.
I did find it odd that she sent me a response from her personal email account, which I think is highly unprofessional, although it is inkeeping with my dealings with her.
If you class getting a stock response to a perfectly reasonable question. Then yes I have spoken to Gillian.
Anyone else planning to go? I for one have a few votes to cast against Gillian.
On the plus side Skinbio seems to be ticking up nicely at the moment
Apparently the 800k trade was a sell related to the recent warrants that were exercised, although the seller is not connected to the company so shouldn't be a precursor to any bad news. Hopefully the price will recover now that this has been absorbed by the market.
Recent placement buyers flipping to get their money back and hold onto their free warrants?
Some big buys into the close, hopefully that will have cleared the overhang for the rest of the week and we can get back into the 60's
He said that a number of his top holdings were in sectors that are not in vogue at the moment and were often in a stage in the lifecycle (close or early profitability) that people are avoiding at the moment in favour of more sexy and risky stocks and that shares such as Premaitha will have their day in the coming year(s). He did confirm that NIPT is on target to hit their sales and profitability forecasts.
Too right Steve, Unfortunately Kezz is being delusional and needlessly dramatic.
