anyone got the article link
Good call
Anyone know why this is taking off today? I got in on the IPO but sold for a profit and now wishing I hadn't!
gotta say, for a laugh I just listened to his bearcast on the DM article ... so he can get at facts ! .. very funny .
Tom Winnifrith ... don't make me laugh .. that man is a random pump and dumper ... blithering idiot
it is not £6m .. but closer to half that after the fees and salary/bonus arrangements.
Was attracted to look pre-IPO but like a couple of people mention ... very speculative and until something happens completely unproven.
But I do agree with some of the wider sentiment that the hospitality space and ret arrangements are in for a big shakup
like how this moving , different to ggp which rns expected Thursday and was down around 6% this morning ,starting to move back up some
Anyone in this and especially if you are ahead should listen to Tom W on Bearcast yesterday. I know Tom can be a bit marmite to some but not often wrong -I reckon he is 100% correct on this - Strong Sell.
They are going after ****tail bars, not pubs it says.
Former Dragons' Den star investing in hospitality sector

Nightcap is setup to do deals - it’s a buy and build vehicle. The board isn’t setup to run 10 bars, it’s setup for a rapid expansion drive - they have a very capable board who are very focussed on scaling and on pursuing opportunities - these opportunities could be distressed operators, or it could be location opportunities.
It’s not an investment without risk and Covid presents both risks and opportunities - you either buy into the management chain and the post Covid opportunities or not.
Personally I think it’s a strong investment, it’s probably tradeable for a quick profit however I believe the real upside is going to be over a 36 month period.
I read this also. Red flags all over the place but some are in it as a punt to make a quick 20, 30, 40%. I expect a large sell of once the Primary Bid shares are available to trade. I'll be long gone by then but don't tell anyone...... ??
WFT are PI's doing paying 14p for this? Does anyone do any research anymore?
https://ukinvestormagazine.co.uk/nightcap/
"The initial 25 million shares in Nightcap were issued for 2p each and last month 14.9 million shares were issued at 5p each. That raised £1.24m and there was a loss of £256,000 up until the end of November."
So paying 200% more than pre IPO investors did in November...
"The annual board remuneration is £550,000 before any bonuses and pension contributions. Non-executive Tobias van der Meer will not initially be paid a fee.
The directors’ remuneration is high considering the size of the operating business and the fact that it is losing money. Nightcap will need to do other deals to justify this level of remuneration."
"There is potential litigation with a corporate finance adviser that was hired to help sell London ****tail Club. A buyer was not found, and the engagement was ended on 16 June. The adviser believes it should be paid its success fee for the acquisition by Nightcap.
Some of the vendors of the business have indemnified Nightcap if the fee is payable, along with related costs."
So many red flags nevermind the continuing uncertainty around Covid...
Can see on IG
Massive spread ....
I've just checked and last time round it actually took a week for the shares to be transferred into my account (Halifax Share Dealing) this was TGR (Tirupati) they listed on 14/12/20 but were not in my account until 21/12/20. Transfers to IG may be faster however.
What Leroy said. I was just in the process of writing the same thing.
Thanks Leroy
If you subscribed via PrimaryBid it usually takes a few days for these to appear in your account.
Anyone else use IG ? I thought I'd see my holding on my account by now
This is a great opportunity. They have cut rents, and when we are out of lockdown, there will be a pent up demand to get out and have a Nightcap.
I'm excited for this one.
Boom!
I wouldn’t like to be out of this over the weekend..
Maybe everyone's just having a....
Nightcap HAHAHAHAHA
Are all the pubs this quiet?
