‘I’m Obsessed’: Paris Hilton on NFTs,
https://www.coindesk.com/paris-hilton-nfts-powering-female-creators-future-of-art
Think this blonde is stupid....then read this:
"Hilton says she invested in both bitcoin and ether in 2016, back when BTC was valued below $1,000 (today it’s over $60K) and ETH below $10 (today it’s over $2,000). "
Now who's stupid....and yes, that includes me.
Paris Buffet rocks.
I'd have serious doubts about investing in a company that can't even bother to get the punctuation correct when talking about the actual product it claims to specialise in. Its website refers to NFT's when it is simply plural, so should be NFTs, almost feels as though it was just thrown together to look like a serious company, to raise some money. Oh, hang on a minute...
Just realised that post made no sense :)
Sorry was trying to delete some sentences and make it cleaner, but duplicated some of the wording!
In Summary, I think NFT is going to be huge for at least
- real estate
- tokenization of popular assets that people want to sell
- gaming
I am sure they will find more uses for it in the future, but as I have said before, 15 years ago everybody talked about the internet of things, now they are talking about the tokenization of things
Signed up and bought in at 4.9p
Binary bet this one for me, only a small punt... lost it all or it becomes the next big thing and make 500%+ maybe more who knows
Oddly I stumbled across NFT's when watching a Richard Kiyosaki podcast, was talking about (he was talking to a guy who was big on Ethereum) but it made sense and it made sense at the time, of course I had no idea they were talking about NFTS when describing the technology, but I do remember thinking at the time, this is absolutely genius and will change markets
I would infer that there are a decent number of buyers who are waiting to get in when their broker allows them. We have not even heard the first news of investments by NFT ventures. If you follow the history of Argo Blockchain, also set up by Jonathan Bixby, things are likely to move fairly fast - they added additional listings on the US OTC market, which helped generate enormous moves in the share price as US investors are ahead of the curve in this area. I would expect a repeat of the same strategy. My view on NFT's is that they are a natural consequence of crypto wealth creation. Digital millionaires want to buy digital assets, and the vbucks generation have no problem seeing tokens as real things. If Jonathan and is his team are creative (and Argo Blockchain indicates they are) there are a wealth of possibilities.
Yes they are, i bought in (4.8p) with A J Bell this morning. ii aren't offering and couldnt see on hl either. I bought this as missed out not buying COIN pre Christmas (when it was 3p!) as couldn't easily buy Aquis shares then. But since A J Bell have recently added Aquis stocks, thats made it easier now.
You should be glad you can't buy. Only VLRM with Gupta on board.
Fingers crossed Roley, can’t help wondering if todays debacle will dampen sentiment .
Just bought on AJ Bell, could also buy (unfortunately) this morning at about 8:15.
I’m averaging down, not ideal, but given that this is a speculative punt on NFT’s and they still have all of their powder dry, I’m literally gambling on some sort of announcement stream lifting the price.
Pretty poor show all in all though, obviously some early investors cashing out, I can only assume they got theirs for less than 5p???
Indeed, utter shambles.
Some brokers are not trading nft. I have one broker not taking an allocation.
One big institutional seller has hammered today as retail struggling to buy.
Roll on next week and the buying will commence.
That is probably pre ipo but will probably lock them in for a period.
shambles
Can’t buy on ii platform, probably have to phone up
AJ Bell are selling it
just bought at about 4.4 but two minutes later show as up 33% .. just waiting for glitches to settle
It was the first day of trading for a pure NFT play so many brokers had to speak to FCA first to get clearance trading. Some brokers were ahead of the curve, most were not.
That is why there was such low volume this morning causing the "surprising" drop this morning.
My broker went live for trading NFT around 45 mins ago. Others will follow.
Trading will pick up over the coming days.
I've just messaged AJ Bell to confirm before opening an account will report back
Its PRIP Package retail insurance based investment product so according to my broker it needs a KIID form required for a lot of the big brokers to offer buys on it. They can only offer to sell right now. which is annoying as I would have loved to jump in. Anyone offering advice on where I can buy this?
Thought this would tear today at IPO but clearly not the case. Seed funders all jumping ship and leaving retail investors stranded. Not great.
Interesting
Where is that information Sharepoint?
I wouldn't mind getting some at 3.5p of course as in theory that is cash, hopefully they keep selling!
Clearly obvious some have seed money here as no way anyone would be offloading £80K at these prices crashing the price and losing £10-20K in the process so these are definitely selling in profit
How did some investors pay 1p. Thought IPO was at 5p?
What's going on is the people who paid 1p are selling out of this Ponzi
Whats going on with the sell off? expected this to do well today but now selling under IPO?
Cash value is ~3.5p but obviously you pay more for the team and exposure, someone offloaded £80K at 4.1p would have thought that was about rock bottom for what you are getting here?
Doesn't seem to make sense...?
Why are theh so cheap, thought it was 5p a share
