Great news I felt the french felt they were getting left out. Wait for the order update as next rns. Perfect.
Yep ditto that, now we have the French official approval fingers crossed the brakes will be released today and we can finally break our £2.00 hoodoo !!
They knew it was coming hence the move in the price on Friday !
Thanks
A minimal RNS, bit of a pitty. Shall havd to wait few days for the update on sales, manufacturing, JV and LAMP
Quickdraw18, don't be short sighted this is a big RNS for the French. Theoretical opening 233 in France already.
It will help us push past £2 and then we have another sales RNS later boosting the SP further. It's much better to have multiple RNS than everything in one.
Remember with phe approval we got an order of them and rns a couple of days later. With India approval we got order couple of days later. With a short trading week and then no market open until 14th April this works out great for steady progress of the share price this week with imo fewer dips because of fomo
From the RNS:
"In addition to the test currently being approved in the UK, the US, France, India, the Philippines, Argentina and Thailand, it is available in markets which directly accept CE-Mark accreditation without the need for further approval."
This includes much of the Middle East.
French market certainly seem to like the update.
NCTY knows its a prime ISA day target (weekend paper articles). May as well stretch the rise out a touch, let the new entrants feel the warm glow of a few blue day a week later. That's the day trading cycle put on hold for a short time then.
Healthcare group Novacyt wins French approval for COVID testing product
06-04-2020 07:12
PARIS, April 6 (Reuters) – Novacyt's
COVID-19 testing product has been approved by France's CNR arm of the Institut Pasteur, making it available for immediate distribution in France, the healthcare company said on Monday.
The company added that last week, it had also won approval for its COVID-19 test from Thailand's Ministry of Health.

I never realised it is the first test in France to get approval. Even more impressive
The French clearly want a quality test that is reliable to. Big order to follow?
Very nice start to the week. France AND Thailand approved :)
I think the french like it the frogs will be leaping today a lot of orders in
Thailand is an interesting one. Here they are shutting down certain parts. In Phuket for example the whole of Patong is closed and officials are going door to door. Lots of testing needed.
Begs the question then what on Earth have France been using and why take so long if it has had CE mark for months? I would have thought it was a given to buy tests from and Anglo/French company - so why a haven’t they done so yet? I’m not interested in sentiment or maybes or pencilled in possibles I want strong, hard factual definites translated into great sales figures. This is not the RNS I was expecting and really hasn’t changed anything very much imho so my advice don’t get carried away. I shall have to wait but for how long?
IMHO DYOR
France testing has been very limited, they have been using a little of us a little of bio and their own test, from articles I found. Basically a similar approach to what PHE was taking a week or so back. Today we are the first approved test, they have been rolling out a plan for testing across the nation and we will be part of this, love the fact we haven't had sales figures yet and it is a short week, this is the perfect storm for the rise
Not this one - it doesn’t really enhance us very much - this news wont sustain the SP rise we’ve seen so far this morning I’m afraid. It simply isn’t enough to make a real difference. Let’s come back this afternoon and see if I’m still a fruitcake. I’m simply being a realist here.
IMHO DYOR
Isn’t it funny. Sharebel is number one for pumping this share on pumpedordumped. Used to write chapter and verse pumping here. He threw his toys out the pram at me many times. Oh how times change.
He's talking nonsense. Most here are looking a day or two ahead to some sales news anyway. Today's RNS sets us up perfectly for new sales in newly approved countries (nevermind the ones we already have approved U.K, U.S, India etc). Sales RNS could hit anytime. TESTS, TESTS, TESTS!
This guy's just throwing mud around hoping some sticks.
