Yes, it never rains but it pours.
Morning poidster "ouch" think you are correct that we need the PROmate version of Winterplex but surely the one product doesn't change your view of the company?
I may close my eyes whilst reading your reply:(
And on your most recent post couldn't agree more.
@kaeren unless novacyt develop a promate version of winterplex its going to suffer the same fate as the original exsig genesig covid tests for EXACTLY the same reason. I would have thought that they would have learned by now. There are already other suppliers with an equivalent test on other platforms that are easier to use.
I honestly now wish I'd never heard of novacyt and primerdesign.
Nuffield 31 Hospitals
Spire 39 Hospitals
Spire 8 clinics
Lovely , sure they would all love a few Marshmallows and our Winterplex . Hurry up NHS you may end up being at the end of a very long list. Smiley face.
Yes more good research. Thanks. It also supports a tweet from ncyt recently about Sickle cell. They're thinking more and more about non-covid. Maybe a good shout to use a proportion of our vast sales team to sneak in under the radar and gain more non covid market share whilst everyone is still occupied with covid.
There will be more browny points for being a first mover back to non-covid. Have to time it perfectly to maximise sales.
Brilliant BH2 , great reasearch . Admit got bored , found the pooled samples on Nationwide and stopped! Must do better , note to self !
Great spot B2 page 3

Apologies Wilson -
Spire Healthcare Limited - UKAS schedule of Accreditation dated 17 September 2021 -
Microgen Sickle cell solubility test kit is in use - to detect sickle cell haemoglobin.
B2 sorry don't understand the spire healthcare post.
Wilson -
Spire Healthcare Limited - 17 September 2021 - Sickle Microgen cell solubility test kit to detect sickle cell haemoglobin.
Not a Primerdesign / Genesig user.
If that is the case Wilson what great news. A third or there abouts. Would love to know how that stacks up with the competition but I appreciate it is not an easy find.
From kaerens list and if your not looking unlike B2(hope that reads correctly B2) here's the current list
Replying to
@NewFormsResearc
10 private COVID labs UKAS ISO accredited to run #Novacyt #Primerdesign tests
Cambridge Clinical Labs
Nationwide Laboratory Services
Concepto Clinic
20/30 Labs
Wren Healthcare
MDNA Life Sciences
Nationwide Pathology
Epistem
The Scientists Laboratory
BioGrad Diagnostics
Nfr's list with various collaborators
Now does that now mean 33%( maybe not as Nationwide(poulton) won't be one) Almost a third so although our PR is shizer our products are brilliant.
Held.....Holding......Hold....
P.s unbelievably this has also been hard work for us so called happy clappers some of us just seek to redress the balance.
There it is. Thanks Kaeren. I knew there was a 23 in there.

I have only checked some Accreditation certs.
Cambridge labs I visited, because I knew if I did not find mention of Primerdesign or Genesig, then I knew I was barking up the wrong tree, - however they were mentioned. Some of the certs are less than 4 months old, so I need to see how many I find like Cambridge labs.
Labs found thus far

Hi, NHS labs will already hold UKAS accreditation that covers their whole service.
In due course this will include the novacyt equipment but its probably not a priority atm for them.
Private enterprises providing very limited testing ie fit to fly, will be super keen to get this accreditation to prove their quality.
There's no reason to assume just that there are no NHS, or very few, showing specific accreditation for novacyt doesn't mean they aren't using them.
They will have passed internal validation at each lab and all the associated documents will be being collated and prepared for accreditation 'at some point' in the future, they are kind of busy.
A theory. In looking for lab accreditations , the whole point of Promate is that it is validated to be used outside a lab. My or your next door neighbour could be using it ¿¿¿¿
Thanks Wilson, -
What I'm saying is that for the tickets in this list that can be expected to show
PROmate, or Genesig RT-QPCR or q16/q32 use,
- ie those certificates around 9 months old or less, they are not showing these instruments or assays, so where might they be in use in the system?
There was a post on here and Twitter a week or so ago. Larry I think. That stated we had 7 out of 23 labs. Can't recall exactly but someone may be able to.
Nationwide path september 21
Nationwide labs poultry september 21
20/30 lab september 21
Nationwide path use q16.
Posted lab 20 /30 and Nationwide last week , what about Biograd ?
Well I posted IOW this a.m BH2
update:
"Having looked at many accreditations, so far the only ticket that shows use of Primerdesign or Genesig instruments for PCR testing is the Cambridge Clinical Laboratories."
Should state
Having looked at many accreditations, so far the only ticket that shows use of Primerdesign or Genesig assays for PCR testing is the Cambridge Clinical Laboratories.
Apologies if this type of search has been discussed before.
Here is the Schedule of Accreditation for Cambridge Clinical Laboratories Ltd:
https://www.ukas.com/wp-content/uploads/schedule_uploads/00007/9325-Medical-Single.pdf
THE ACCREDITATION IS DATED 26 April 2021.
*When looking at other certificates always check this date first, - some other certificates can be as old as 2018.*
I do not know how often these Accreditations are refreshed, but it might be when a lab stops using one piece of equipment / starts using another.
The schedule of accreditation shows that for materials / products tested by Cambridge Clinical Laboratories:
Oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal swabs, with Detection of SARS CoV-2 virus RNA (COVID-19) with target gene RdRp,
they use the following equipment:
RNA Extraction using Zymo Quick RNA Viral Kit CLP-195
PCR by Primerdesign COVID-19 qPCR Kit and Myra using the Roche z480 and LC480ii Realtime PCR Platforms

I found this accreditation by using a search of UKAS accredited organisations, browsed by category:
Medical Laboratories / Covid-19 testing.
Here is the link:
https://www.ukas.com/find-an-organisation/browse-by-category/?cat=3733
This list shows Accreditation for many NHS Trusts and other labs.
Having looked at many accreditations, so far the only ticket that shows use of Primerdesign or Genesig instruments for PCR testing is the Cambridge Clinical Laboratories.
I looked (partially) into other categories such as Covid-19 POCT ( https://www.ukas.com/find-an-organisation/browse-by-category/?cat=3750 ),
and Point of care Sampling, (https://www.ukas.com/find-an-organisation/browse-by-category/?cat=3732),
but found no use of genesig or primerdesign instruments, on the Accreditation certificates I viewed.
So I'm wondering where DHSC / NHS are using PROmate or Primerdesign COVID-19 qPCR Kit.
If Poidster is around, can you provide any assistance please.
If your search reveals use of q16 / q32 instruments or Primerdesign / genesig assays, please advise.
