This week’s most entertaining thread.
By far.
Me too :)
Kaeren, happy with that and keen to move on.
I ref nothing in particular , I don't think you are uber bullish and I have no prob with that either as quite frankly sick of all the b/s.
Rest assured I am happy to hear ' the good the bad and the ugly ' I have a lot invested , do extensive research and if you or anybody can tell me something new or something I haven't considered then that is only one thing , beneficial to me. Have a nice weekend Kaeren
Agree with Kaeren in most part except the negative undertone. I believe you reference a concern that I wanted to discuss a few days back. I will continue to want to discuss genuine concerns here to a) dispell them or b) factor them into my decision making. I'd be amazed if all lth's didn't do the same. This isn't monopoly money we're playing with.
Covid, for what it's worth I will say this only one more time. I am not Porky. Don't really care who believes it or not as long as it doesn't affect me collating my research here. Can we move on now please.
@CovidOt
I am commenting as i still follow this board although not as actively posting here (at the moment)
If you persist in this nonsense of insinuating i am DRB83 i will report you to LSE and i GUARANTEE your account will be suspended as Claire would phone BOTH of us and have concreate proof we are DIFFERENT people. So please pack it in. I don't want you to be removed as you make some valuable contributions here.
For what its worth i still hold some stock here and after the AGM next week (my votes have been cast) and the dust settles and David joins I intend to ADD again. In the meantime, i am giving some attention to some of my other positions one specifically is Valirx (VAL) as they have an Investor Meets presentation on Tuesday and two specific cancer drugs on the cusp of licensing deals and the mcap is only £18m and this interests me.
I genuinely don't know who DRB83, clearly a bullish poster. But look, think about it, if i wanted to invest more time here why wouldn't I continue posting as Porky? I'm established and known here for heavens sake.
Have a good afternoon
Pork's
Covid, whilst you are snooping check out my CHLL posts. Less positive on there than I was several months ago and that is reflected in my posts. Uber positive on NCYT which is reflected in my posts. Uber positive on UFO which is reflected in my posts. Only a genuine investor here.
Trouble, South but I'm a Leeds fan. Uh oh, should I have divulged that.
Covidopp , many of us who have been here a relatively long time have now read , absorbed it and know with a fair degree of certainty who is genuine and who is not, with a few surprises enroute. Unfortunately there is no way of proving what one believes therefore openly accusing individuals only leads to disruption. For all any of us know some of these constant longterm continuous 'debates' could be staged and all participants may have ulterior motives. For the sake of the bb can we leave it at if the new poster is Porky then he is certainly not rampy now , infact most posts have to me a negative undertone. The same applies to Valju whom you accuse of holding multiple identities. I have no idea if this is correct and I don't read his/her posts either here or any other board. Just imo better to leave it as we have all by now formulated our own no doubt pretty strong beliefs. Thank you Kaeren.
@DRB83,
Whereabouts in Yorkshire are you from ?

3 different pigs :
Porky9, BYP and DRB83 - wonder who's house is made of bricks ?
And who's the big bad Wolf ?
“Sitting on the sidelines for 12 months” then 92 posts in a week.. ;-)
Hi covid, I see you are still hung up on me being Porky but if I'm being rampy on UFO I explain why. Are you in UFO? If not you can't really comment. If you are then please go over there and reign me in as to why I am wrong to be bullish on my investment.
Not sure how Porky has the brass neck to start on another BB with the absolute same rampy BS he did on this board, and then continue on this BB with another name when it hasn’t quite worked out.
Anyway, hopefully a good week next week on here.
Correct. If Novacyt was £12 it would probably be as a direct result of BoJo and his merry men actually realising the significance of testing thereby increasing our protection at the borders not removing it, buying quality British tests that actually work not Chinese lucky dips and advising the nation that vaccines whilst imperative are by no means a replacement for a test. If that was the reality then obviously my previous response would be completely different.
Preventing serious illness in some Woody, maybe most but what about the others/rest. Are they just the collateral so the majority can start living again.
For me, living again should look different now (including masks in some areas, testing everywhere, 2nd gen and 3rd gen vaccines and so on). The sooner we realise and accept that life and living has to change the better for everyone.
At the moment BoJo is leading us into an unprecedented winter in the middle of arguably the worst pandemic ever totally exposed. What's worse is that we don't have to be exposed, he could protect us more but forward we march anyway.
I would be interested to hear at what level daily hospitalisations and deaths would have to reach in your view before you would consider bringing back some restrictions?
Will there be any Army left ?
We need 100,000 lorry drivers and the Govt are considering using them for essential deliveries.
Everybody queuing up at garages today - now I know what they meant by stopping freedom of movement !!
How many times have you been banned Pete ?
Loads of fake entries to major events over the weekend with loads taking advantage of the useless lft situation.
With the infection rate at 36 000 any rise from here could be a big one. Is it just a matter of time before the public wake up .. the end of free lunches.? A move up to 40,000 infections and increased fatalities could have a sobering up effect.
I have nothing to do with government policy and do not want another shutdown. But the ping and lft fiasco has left the country wide open. It's just my take. Ignore weekend numbers
It's the weekday ones that have been increasing. From a low of around 2,000 to 36 000 a day is a massive rise. Even if people are no longer so Ill.
Apparently the NHS in Wales is at crisis point too according to my GP.
Nuffield Health is the United Kingdom's largest healthcare charity. Established in 1957 the charity operates 31 Nuffield Health Hospitals and 113 Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centres. It is independent of the National Health Service and is constituted as a registered charity.
Thx
Katalyst labs work with Nuffield.
Kitzie following on from your post re Nuffield hospitals. There are 31 , they have been taken over by NHS , they are used for overspill and can only see a limited number of private patients for pre agreed conditions such as cancer.
I know Nuffield utilise Primerdesign via ???? can't recall which of the testing companies ( for fit to fly ) Does anyone know for instay patients regardless of if they are private or NHS originally , which PCR test is used?

in my work travels seeing serious staff shortages across many NHS trusts.
Was in one of the Nuffield hospitals yesterday (private care) and they are taking significant overspill patients in private care...paid for premium hospitalisation by the tax payer...this is happening in most Nuffield hospitals. In the past you had a few cases like this, now it's rife.....I don't know how the govts getting away with this. It's the biggest cover up whitewash I have ever seen in 35 years.
