welcome back Noli - that was a long holiday, lol But back just in time, yes, forget NCT, think Mayan Energy and MYN : ) What next indeed : ) : )
You just need to have a good read of the Aminex report in 2014 (this was the Circular issued by Aminex to its shareholders when NCT agreed to acquire their Shoats Creek/Alta Loma interests - Aminex at that point wanted to fully focused on building their Tanzania business) to see many unfinished projects were still in the pipeline when they sold. Page 39 for a few pages will give a flavour. But it is very interesting and relevant today that the Aminex made this statement then in relation to monetising the gas opportunity at SC: "The Aminex operated leases are currently not equipped for gas sales. The field development plan (FDP) includes capital to install gas gathering and processing equipment in 2014 to facilitate future gas sales." And that's where Aminex left off. Now we have been told that the LM14 workover has gas huge potential that infrastructure (and sales contract) is ready soon to take delivery of untapped LM14 gas. And also other gaseous zones. Stephen Brock our new Vice President of SC Operations will tell us more soon imo Obviously the model in the report was using higher prices then i.e. $4.5 for gas; but today we are told that at $2.75 (and rising) that there is money to be made. This is a volume game imo, they wouldn't bother if they were not confident of decent levels of gas. imo http://www.aminex-plc.com/FCKuploads/file/publications/140806_Circular%20for%20Proposed%20Disposal%20of%20Aminex%20USA%20Inc%20and%20Notice%20of%20General%20Meeting.pdf
Best ignored imo. Quite likely they are a shorting crew or placing flippers. Either way, you identify them by their traits: - They trade in insults not facts - They peddle rumours not facts - They won't talk about hard cash, revenue, income and lack thereof - They won't talk about placings, share issues, fund raises - 99% of their drivel is uncertain or unconfirmed future potential, "jam tomorrow" - They are collectively posting 100s of posts day in day out, pumping the stock for all its worth - Many of them are often found to be operating multiple accounts Every AIM stock has BB groups like this imo. Stick to the hard facts. Read the Annual Report, read the RNSs.
I suspect the first Mayan RNS will be rather illuminating and likely to have a gagging affect on resident trolls.
Genuine investors are also wondering why certain individuals never address the companies finances. Whats the cash balance stuy, why did bigtimber not answerer colinH question yesterday If there are paid derampers does that mean that there are paid rampers to who only post positives?
The Mayan board is now open and active....
These derampers are out just to get attention, bit like a stalker, but onto this share where they moved from RRR.. Agree though, why do this here, unless they are actually paid derampers? Strange timing as to when they appeared.. However, once we get moving, they will probably move on too..
The smell of desperation is ever more pungent in the air.......not a good time to be short now IMO.....GLA
Money is going to be needed, there can be no doubt about that as the company is still currently lossmaking and will be for the foreseeable future. Does not mean a placement necessarily but it is the companies favoured fundraising method, possibly sale of shoats creek interest for the gas or selling a stake in the remediation plant would be two further options. Best to ignore bigtimbers ramblings a brief look through the posting history clearly displays the level of understanding. Around this time last year was ramping about S.America and how shoats creek would be at 1000bpd by now. Has also demonstrated a lack of understanding of shoats creek ownership and operator dynamic and lets not forget caught posting using multiple identities.
still flogging the mythical jam tomorrow for all it's worth. Still not one able to answer the simple question, where is the money going to come from? Revenue $841,000, Admin Expenses $4.3m (as at end of year see Annual Report) These posters will, imo, hold you by the hand and walk people right into the next discounted placing. DYOR, read the last Annual Report.
indeed: "Northcote Energy Limited is pleased to announce that it has, with immediate effect, changed its name to Mayan Energy Limited to reflect the Company’s commitment to widening its exposure in Mexico. Trading in the Company’s shares under the new name will take effect from 08.00am BST tomorrow with the TIDM changing to MYN and the ISIN changing to VGG5S26K1079." They seem quite pleased about it aswell, wonder why that is?.....I have a few ideas : )
Todays a new dawn ;0)
Continuing up trend in pricing can only be good news for Mayan Energy and it's gas division at Shoats Creek; last RNS update said gas was near term : ) Maybe news soon on more gaseous zone targets/workovers? That is their current focus as stated in recent announcements, timing couldn't have been better. Final testing on LM14 .... http://247wallst.com/energy-economy/2016/08/04/natural-gas-price-rises-following-unusual-storage-withdrawal/ http://m.moneycontrol.com/news/commodities/us-natural-gas-futures-edge-higher-after-weekly-storage-data_7206401.html
Like all the RNS which have been flaky and lacking detail?
Yup, the birth of Mayan Energy Limited #MYN Erm...Did I say earlier, let the RNSs do the talking? ;-)
Folks You can't doubt the figures but in truth nobody actually knows what will happen, it's all speculation. Get a coin - heads you stay put, tails you sell up. For me it's simple, staying put as I'm enjoying the ride and its starting to look interesting. Gold.
Small minds indeed - some are still definately not getting it. Penny will drop. Quicker for some. Tomorrow's another day in the world of Mayan Energy Limited : ) Night night.
Yes, for those with small minds
Sorry Bigtimber but that rhetoric just comes across as utter nonsense. There are no free lunches in this world. NCT posted a $6m loss in the Annual Report. It's revenue is tiny compared to its overheads as previously posted. No-one is going to simply cough up the deficit on NCT's behalf. Some simple maths. Take just the $4.3m for "Other Administrative Expenses", we'll ignore the huge key management remunerations and any other company costs. $4.3m equates to $358,333 per month or 273,067 per month. Thus far this year NCT has raised 950,000 via discounted placings which, if it ALL went on expenses would cover about 3.5 months worth. Of course it didn't all go to expenses so much less than 3.5 months worth will have been covered. We are now in month 8. One presumes therefore that bills, expenses, overheads need to be paid. So, between now and Christmas, in the real world, in the here and now, where is the money going to come from? Leopards do not change their spots. The Pemex deal is imo months away, all there is currently is a Letter Of Intent. There will follow lots of negotiations, documents drafted, terms agreed and drawn up by lawyers and all the rest of it. As I said before, jam tomorrow will not pay bills today. I'm sorry but in my personal opinion, a placing is nailed on and likely imminent, I would think a share consolidation also likely to be nailed on as the company tries to rebrand itself and attract new investors. We have already seen, imo, from the 2 earlier discounted placings that existing holders are wholly expendable. It's a simple case of revenue vs expenditures. All the signs are pointing to it imo including the relentless ramping, rhetoric and sound bites from some on this BB. I don't trust those posters one iota. Caveat Emptor.
Defo need clarity now on all aspects of northcotes holdings incl Mexico. Mayan Shoats creek. Alto Loma Prospa Adl participation Mxo participation and warrants And all else plus now an agm here in the uk
What`s happened to Prosper Petro? Please.
Stuy - you are correct. imo
BigTimber - "it's truly mind blowing" - how dare you come on here and speculate like that! You beat me to it, you must be good at jigsaws ha ha
Most would agree there will be a placing. The more relevant questions are when that will happen and what the funds will be used for. Placing to keep the lights on bad, placing to add value obviously very good. Everyone has had a guts full of missed deadlines and excuses - some valid some less so - but we have to look forward not backwards. A new bod coupled with some director buys would be a good start.
I think you are probably right. Looks like they have been waiting on the Pemex deal.
