Doesn't seem good to be acquiring so many sites, with work volumes flexible Work volumes across the country are way way down from previous years, Recent hail damage wrote a lot of vehicles off or was subcontracted out to hail specialists flown in from abroad. When have we had a bad winter of heavy snow is any poor weather predicted. Acquiring way to many overheads creates serious cash burn. The bigger NWCR become the more they need to be fed, when there isn't much food available not good.
@bankster you are doing well now...... QPP though....might look like a bad sell - I suppose they needed the cash.
Did someone just BUY a total of 99 pounds worth at .97. After commission buying and selling the outlay will be £120. No return whatsoever on the offer price of £1
Nationwide, the largest dedicated provider of automotive crash repair services in the UK, is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Seward Accident Repair Centres Limited ("Seward"). The total net cash consideration is £3.8m and will be funded from the Group's own cash and banking resources. Seward is the tenth largest independent bodyshop chain in the UK and operates from a Head Office in Hampshire with eight bodyshops, together with mobile vehicle repair services, in the areas of Poole, Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and Brighton, providing repair services to retail customers, insurance and fleet companies. For the year ended 31 March 2014, Seward generated revenues of £16.0m and profit before tax and depreciation of £1.1m. Its net assets stood at £1.5m at 31 March 2014. The addition of Seward's bodyshops gives Nationwide greater coverage in the South and improves economies of scale and flow whilst extending the Group's presence in its target markets of insurance, fleet and retail.
To all holders here .. Nice return at 1.00 per share. Wish I had bought here .. Should have exchanged my losses in quindell for NARS and would have recovered my position. Should be a scramble for these up to 96 this morning. Well done.
I bought after the news QPP had bailed out. Unfortunately I didnt get 65p but 79p looks ok now.with steady rise since. Results due mid-April so may stay around these levels pending update? Esure s/p took a hit yesterday after the insurer said people are driving more due to lower petrol prices leading to increase in accidents. Not good for the insurers but should be positive for NARS ...
What a great purchase by new shareholders......
Note the large trades today at 65p! Seems like QPP has sold out (Share Prophets) so should get a holdings RNS later this week.... might be interesting to know who have acquired the shares....
Yes they own about 25% of the shares and are looking to raise money, so could well be selling them off, maybe why the sp fell today?
Sorry new here is Quindell a shareholder?
Quindell selling shares already?
All new contracts are good but £10 million is not massive in tune with the total turnover NARS does per year. Also how long do they been when they say "fully implemented"? This is obviously good news but I do not see the SP flying on this news alone. A few more like this and it may well do though. GLA
Nice contract win....
Qpp have not yet put any work through them.
Unfortunately I know NARS for the wrong reasons - They made a good repair though !! :)
Sutherland - Wise decision IMO, cant see how this can go wrong. (famous last words!!)
Yep,,, I had taken a position just after the Rns was released... Though, the more I read about about Nars, the more I like it. I think I'm going to hold for a few weeks and see what happens... GLA
Excellent deal, should be a significant rise here. £10m ADDITIONAL contract, M'cap on £24M and a PE of only 7 ish Very undervalued :)
Took a small stake Riddler. Suprised it's a bit slow getting off the ground.
Nice contract. You in Early?
Out!
"target price remains 105p"
Could be on the back of the QPP interest
