City what do you make of the (very) small reduction in percentage ownership for MOS in BET?
My reading of it is that it’s a huge positive and shows how central MOS is to this venture. The size of the funding investment coming in means some parties will have had to reduce their shareholding yet the tiny reduction in MOS’s says time they’re an absolute keystone partner in this venture.
100% the keystone partner seen as ME brought it all together and they are using our platform to co-ordinate the marketing.
As I said Penny will drop soon enough but not for the likes of aiminvestor1900 aka Rich Bob.
Is there a web address/site for Estadio Bet?
“ This would suggest to me that once launched further investors will come onboard but what value then ?…” Dilution of MoS interest unless MoS can get a war chest in place to subscribe £-4-£ in any future Placing; which would show little or no growth in value … as we’ve all experienced in the recent MoS Placings…
Why exactly do they need a war chest Lothbury - please explain ?
The thing estadio had going for it was that ME was not the kingpin. If you are saying city he is the keystone then it's a very poor start to their marketing campaign as the track record of spin by him speaks for itself. Nomad checked the numbers on an those NFT numbers which were a load of fluff. Unknown valuation method by unknown investors. Basically valuation passed nomad as method used was simply what someone is willing to pay which has all been agreed between themselves no doubt.
Lothbury.
As I see the RNS they got this funding 4 months after the initial funding with an increase of 5*.
If they do another funding (as they hint) say in another 4 months at another 5* increase then yes probably some dilution but equally a much bigger valuation.
Many AIM investors have experienced the problem of funding as share prices decline, in part down to very illiquid markets with only a small number of people being interested in a company, where as funding where share prices are increasing, or in this case where a private company has a valuation increasing, is a different story. Do the maths.
Nice try though!
Just to add to that last post of mine:
- there was talk before about Bet not having the money to advance / launch and I think todays news puts that angle to rest; or perhaps stops the "when is the next placing" angle (I estimate MOS themselves also have around £1m cash)
- I believe MOS is also a supplier to Bet / Estadio so this inwards revenue also is a positive
- If we assume that the new capital into Bet was $1m then it is more than just a little positive for MOS who still own one fifth (+) of Bet
- it is quite remarkable how many on this board who claim to be investors but are simply trolls are attacking what I see to be one of the best RNSs from a small company for a long time
The original RNS announcing the expansion into BET also announced that TALK would follow shortly after. It’s not had much attention on here but if that lands successfully then you only have to think about the possible advertising revenues flowing in plus the free marketing for BET. Could be very exciting.
Excellent commentary Technoinvest/Silversprings. Sadly some perverse people get a kick out of serial deramping despite compelling evidence to the contrary.
Yet again System - eyes wide shut.
Give it up FFS you’re beat mate.
Newgrange: thanks for pointing out those delayed buys. I had not see them. They obviously liked the RNS!
I still can't quite believe how strong the RNS was.
Hopefully we can all look back on this day as when things started to turn around for all involved.
Well that RNS takes care of the regulator approval then (makes one of my comments earlier today out of date ) … nice RNS , I won’t post other concerns I’ve previously mentioned ,as I’ve highlighted them already , the slight reduction in Mos holding not an issue for me .see what happens tomorrow
Techno , you’ve got a short memory, free flowing helium to the surface did just fine🤣
Techno that’s regarding you best RNS comment 🤣
Good reminder lostmoney.
There is no doubting that resource stocks like HE1 have their moments and that was very kind to both of us (as a trade rather than investment).
Nice to see you more positive and long may that continue (as long as the company delivers).
Fair play to you.
Citi : in reply to “why do they need a War Chest”.. MoS will need to build up a chest of cash reserves to subscribe to future Placings by Estadio in order to maintain their 25% shareholding base (assuming that, as you say in your comment, Placings will be happening in the future at a greater mkt cap valuation.
Good morning Lothbury.
Or as an alternative they don't put anymore money in to Estadio Bet and accept that as the valuation hopefully increases they have a smaller stake in a more valuable company without adding any further capital.
For example let's say it goes very well and Estadio Bet is worth $100m within 2 years and they have 10% of Estadio Bet. Change the numbers as you see fit as that is not my expectation, just an example, it could be much less or much more.
They will also be getting paid by Estadio Bet as they are a supplier (i.e. revenue into MOS PLC, separate to the investment).
On top of this the holding in Capital Media and Estadio Talk (3 separate companies).
I wonder if they will follow this company level funding strategy with Estadio Talk in due course? Or Capital Media?
Thank you for your insight in your post of 18.44 Techno. I was doing “the Maths” for many years..! I was pleased to see your later comment :: “ estimate MOS themselves also have around £1m cash..”. I presume this is surplus cash not required for day-to-day expenses nor dividends? In that case, and assuming continued cash surpluses on a regular basis; there should be more than sufficient funding to maintain the 25% shareholding in future Placings. Who knows.. MoS might be suppling additional working capital to Estadio by investing some of the surplus cash reserves. It’s all dependent upon Estadio being profitable and gaining significant market share for it to become a Take-Over prospect. The whole valuation will change when a Dividend is paid and a pe can be adopted. Long way to go with many variables (good and bad) starting with your predictions of the £1m cash surplus “in say 4 months time”.
Good morning again Techno.. please, could I ask you not to make statements as you did in your 7.16 post …” For example let's say it goes very well and Estadio Bet is worth $100m within 2 years…”. There is no basis for this “hope value”. Agreed, it could be $101m or $0m. Mos has to,prove itself,a s does Estadio, step by step.. firstly hitting the hoped for £1m cash surplus in 4 months time. I must say that you, as new Investor/Shareholder and new on the particular bb; you have a depth of knowledge and Due Diligence that would make most corporate finance and analysis put to shame. Well done and we rely on your knowledge base. Could I ask you, as Estadio is now the principal basis for MoS value, do you have a weg site address for Estadio Bet; who is behind it; an office address.…? Something to grasp (kick the brick in property parlance) that Estadio are real and we can follow their progress. Thr RNS have been scant in information and there is no contact details…
I did caveat the statement with could be more or less!
I have been trying to find that out but unless I have missed it I don't think that there is anything we can see on the internet yet. My expectation is that in Q2 we will be able to find out more information as obviously to launch they will need a website and / or an app. If anyone else has found something I would be grateful if they could share it.
As for my knowledge; kind words. I have been investing for quite some time and have had good wins and some that were not so good. I don't really rate most corporate finance people / analysts as they all have their own agenda that often revolves around cash.
To add: "hitting the hoped for £1m cash surplus". I did not say that if that is you saying something from what I said.
I said something along the lines of that I estimate MOS PLC will have around £1m cash at the moment which is MOS PLC and not Estadio Bet. If my guesses are correct Estadio BET will have something like $1m cash and MOS PLC own + 20% of Estadio Bet.
Looks like Lothbury has taken over the mantle of chief questioner from Guzzler. Always spot them, first rule of deramping, always ask questions, never make statements, if you don't make a statement or prediction you can not be proved wrong, so reasoned argument or debate doesn't work. Read the tag teams comments this will become clear.

Toffee .. I have no interest in “de-ramping” nor “ramping”. What concerns me are comments giving possible and current investors with information that is unsubstantiated. I will question misleading or unsupported information and ask for evidence. If anything, I want the share price ramped out of the stratosphere so I can recoup my investment.
