3p paid??? I think we have some leaks again. So much more buying today.
So hold it is with a resounding 'NO' :-) Thieves
This is a very very good point K3 and totally my stance Taken, if the "no" vote is successful, you don't have your shares taken by BIDCO. You can still sell ADVERTISEMENT them on the open market. LC has threatened us with dilution, but that is what the AIM market is for - to raise funds when needed. Provided he does this in a sensible manner, we will still have shares in FINKit, MVC etc, and MONI will still have 15p+ of usable tax losses. There will be another bidder, or an improved bid at a later time. NO-ONE will refuse to buy 15p+ tax losses for under 5p. Better to hold and wait for LC to be booted out and some decent management put in.
My bad guys! Google alerts sent me my daily notification of moni news and went back and checked the article and it was from bloody july 17th!! Will take more care to check the sh*t google is alerting me to in fututre.
The fact that there is still a market for MONI shares, just a whisker under the "final" bid, speaks volumes of what the market thinks.

I average at 7.5 and have lost out so many times by selling up too early, hoping for a fair bid to come in, i'm here till the death. Question to anyone who knows. If our NO vote is successful do we stayers just get nothing?
Remember MYPINPAD was among the first wave of FINkit Partnerships in Nov 2016? ..In 2020 we expect to be established as the world leaders in mobile identity authentication and at the forefront of secure data entry innovation. With ‘PIN on Mobile’ about to be thrust into the public domain we aim to be the go to Company for banks, acquirers, merchants and PSP’s who are looking for the most secure and innovative way to accept both in-store and online payments. Although some Companies may allow for the entry of data, PINs and biometrics in to mobile devices, MYPNIPAD is the only Company who can secure this process – our patented solutions enable bank grade, multi-factor authentication. Mobile payment technology is evolving at a rapid pace. There are challenges for the mobile and payments industry to find the right balance between providing a seamless user-experience and meeting security requirements when making a financial transaction. The ability for consumers to enter their card PIN directly and securely into their mobile devices represents a major innovative shift in online and mobile payments – one that enhances the user experience and helps meet PSD2 and EBA Secure Consumer Authentication requirements. https://mobileecosystemforum.com/2017/08/15/5-minutes-mypinpad/
Average out at 5.5. Worth selling now or wait? New to this game. Any guesses at what will happen here? Seemed to have so much potential :-(
Asklongy "a lot of shorting going on, shorts up 529% in August". I have to agree with basil here. Please provide some corroboration.

meant FCA
No shorting has been recorded by FSA. Sit tight and wait for higher offer.
Bidco reserves the right to increase the offer,if a third party bids ! http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=MONI&ArticleCode=lk707t7u&ArticleHeadline=Fiserv_Increased_and_Final_Offer_for_Monitise Otherwise ,they will not increase their final offer ! Eh ! So if someone else bids, they might pay, say ten pence; but if shareholders reject their present offer they will walk away ! That does not seem logical to me !
It's a minor move at this point but ultimately there is recognition the deal is unlikely to pass. Investors typically don't pay up for uncertainty. In this case I, and many others, can argue this deal is not good for shareholders. This is not the offer to take and the exbroker on the other board thinking this is going through is going to be greatly disappointed. People will not be "scared" into voting for such a low offer. That's not how it works.
a lot of shorting going on, shorts up 529% in August, a lot of people strongly believe deal won't happen and sp will sink. I would love a new offer to come in now and raise the SP and see these shorters get F*cked!
I could never understand why the BOD didn't raise some more cash when the SP was above 60p, did they know something. They appear to have thrown the towel in, much to everyone's dismay. I'm out but watching with interest from the sidelines GLA still in there
So if you haven't, VOTE NO TO FISERV DEAL!!
Fintech CEO says tech giants like IBM may go on M&A ‘shopping spree’ for start-ups in 2018 Tech giants like IBM could go on a mergers and acquisitions "shopping spree" for fintech start-ups next year, the CEO of Auka told CNBC. Fintech firms would provide the capability but not the customer relationship, he said - which would be where larger companies kick in.
