Thank you for your comments LWHL. I first bought mka @ 3p and have added at various prices since then including more in the low single digits, some in the teens, and even some in the 20's. my reluctance to pull the trigger now has nothing to do with my confidence in the project and everything to do with my lack of confidence in how the share price will move over the coming weeks and months. several times over the years I was convinced the share price was over the hump and would steadily rise based on the companies progress and prospects only to see the price languish and ultimately fall back into single digits. so as far as being an idiot goes, well I have thought the same of myself several times here over the years. lol, so no hard feelings. GLTA
Amazing - The IMF (read very dirty money from the usual suspects) give Malawi a "loan" and all of a sudden the license is about to be approved and Michelle Obama rocks up to boot.
I'm going to assume THAT was the blocker and it's now been lifted.
With this week the market is reawaking to MKA... if all the potential positive newsflow comes in now in the coming weeks/months... I think a 30-50p SP is v achievable, certainly, an MCAP to compare with our UK REE peer's PTE and RBW
No guarantees of course .... The highlight of the week that deserves a repost is this vid :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63z2oli6Qgc
We are not just a REE recycler but a bespoke magnet manufacturer too ...I think this point needs to be highlighted BTW I was surprised we didn't get RNS'd for the RAW Materials week event especially with the great CRMA news coming in this week as it makes what Mkango have as in the full package! As a no-brainer for the EU.... everything from the EU standards meeting mine that the Songwe locals are most desperate for to the recycling in Poland which the CRMA with its 40% processing demands to the 25% recycling that HyproMag can fulfill...
Hopefully a really great end to the year ahead here... there are some Gems on AIM amongst the outright scams :)
yeah, all here say what people think only time will tell! in the mean time if anyone wants to join this telegram group for mka to share and chat about the share see attached link *************+rajoxegpu7rmzjm0
I second your comments.
I have been on many share chat boards and this is by far the best one so far. A lot of people have been here for a long time and as far as I can gather from the posts the vast majority want to see the company prosper, if only to benefit of us weary shareholders.
I have much respect for people like Crumbs that appears to spend day and night gathering information to share with us all, yet someone was having a go at him a couple of weeks ago.
If everything does start to come to fruition I expect we will get many new names on here spouting positive and negative news trying to persuade us to “invest more” or “sell before the company goes bust” but until that time comes, even if you don’t agree with someone, please be civil towards them.
Silvermaple is a LTH here. Seems to already be quite heavily invested too.
He is not an idiot for struggling to pull the trigger.
Just because it is clearly a no-brainer for Malawi to give us the MDA, does not mean that their politicians will rubber stamp what they should have already done many months ago.
There are entirely justified trust issues that many have - including me - and I am not even a LTH here.
So I have a pretty low average (to my mind) and have not suffered the many frustrations that people like him have.
Although it is an experience that I am familiar with in plenty of other names, don't get me wrong :)
The wider market clearly shares this mistrust, or we would be well north of the current SP, IMO.
As for the macro argument: IMO it is highly likely that we are in a battle behind the scenes involving the West versus the East.
And I am sure all holders here hope for a home team win...but until that day of signing comes, nothing can be taken for granted.
No need for that comment, Profit-or-roll.
silvermaple: Do whatever you think is right mate. Buy, sell or hold - as long as whatever you decide to do does not cause you discomfort or difficulties. Good weekend all.
Lets buy them tickets in return for the mda :)
Then you are an idiot! What other micro and macro economics do you want to see? Newsflow is preloaded - if you cant pull the trigger then get onto nsandi and stick it in pbs! Ffs it is staring you in the eyes!
BBC News - Malawi's President Chakwera bans himself and his cabinet from foreign travel
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-67420470
Just as well Michelle's going to their place because the Malawian government can't travel atm. Things must be bad. Let's get the MDAs done and the money flowing. Win win
Hope Alex manages to arrange a photo shoot with her 😂
Michelle Obama in Malawi this week.
Agreed, just topped up again this morning. When this finally starts to go you’ll be sorry. Kicking myself I didn’t load up sun 9p
GLA
But I just can't seem to pull the trigger
Not a great end to today’s trading. Canada down today.
Pure speculation but perhaps this new solar farm is part of the MDA bargain... I am a speculator after all
I wouldn't be so sure - someone appears to know their Fibs ...
Can’t believe this isn’t much higher every looking great , still may get a chance to top up before MDA signing.GLA

Massive endorsement for the Hypromag tech!
Great video. Definitely a hint that things are up and running. Commissioning about to be announced surely
SUSMAGPRO video released today.
Is this confirmation the UK plant is currently producing 50T/pa Neodynium powder?

Now that's exactly what the doctor ordered. 2024 bull market on the way
There's a major fly in the ointment though mate - the failing economics of green energy, wind farms etc.
Oh but wait - here comes the govt money - again ...
BREAKING: UK government moves to rescue the offshore wind sector with a massive increase in guarantee prices for future offshore wind farms.
The maximum strike price has been increased ***by 66% for offshore wind projects***, from £44/MWh to £73/MWh
Hot off the press today.

So much to look forward to, however ofc the government and ministry comments about signing our MDA in the next 6 weeks has given us a nice boost
What value does the MDA bring?
- unlocks financing
- gives value to the project as it then becomes construction ready (can be sold also)
NPV before the price crash was $559m, even if we halve that and give 10% to MKA that's the current market cap (11p per share give or take) so then the recycling tech and Pulawy + other assets + cash behind the sofa becomes free
Huge value increase for Maginito potentially around the corner
MKA owns 80% of Hypromag, via cotects investment for 20.6% would imply group value of £17.7
That was before
- selected by MSP
- US JV DFS
- £1.4m wind turbine project
- German Plant Funding
Upcoming major milestone
- Commissioning of the plant and scale up
- 100t/pa of NdFeB magnets currently valued at around £7m PA give or take (hard to value as priced in Yuan and dominated by China so volatile)
Should commissioning take place and production start in the next few weeks, id expected our investment in HyProMag to at least double from the face value it was given by the Cotec investment - so should be looking at ~£26-£30m+ of value to MKA there maybe a lot more (Cotec will let us know I am sure)
So MDA lands and recycling plant gets commissioned, id expect our market cap to comfortable sit above £55-60m and then increase as financing for both the tech, the mine and revenues come in. Current market cap £28m, would be happy with around 22-24p per share by Y/E - then with scale and revenues, mine financing double/treble that in early 2024. Very possible and I've probably undercut us there as I like to remain very balanced.
Quite right gp: my morning top up shows as a sell.
