My Christmas hope is no takeover offers unless at consolidation price. We are definitely sitting on and earning a lot of cash for a small company and at last seem to be well run - after those years of Uncle Eric lol!
You know what be great is either a share buy back or another consolidation.
Imagine 8 million pound of profit with 25-30 million shares in play.
Acquisition are extremely dangerous with skeletons in the cupboard x
Will we see a golden cross situation !
Who knows buts our day and moment will come soon hopefully
My gut feeling is we will see a positive upside very soon and hopefully the low is in. 10p taken out and then a move up to 11p would be nice

I think we’d all love an update but end of year is December 31st so I personally don’t see one until next month.
Unless they have good news to get the share before then!!!
All I want is an update in the next few days. The last one was on September the 8th. Nothing much seems to have required pen to paper since...
Karl
Many have touted a dividend by as shown in TLY it’s not always a smart move. I’d love a special dividend but would I like the company to spend the money on growing the business by way of acquisitions etc.
I don’t know what’s best but I agree it’s definitely cheap and I believe the board has done little to support the share price. I just wonder if MHC is vulnerable to a takeover itself given it’s portfolio and cash position
The low share price can be attributed to the lack of historical data available for prediction. Instead, what we have is a sense of caution and careful financial management.
However, I am optimistic that a special dividend is on the horizon. This assumption is based on the logical reasoning that comes with share buybacks and consolidation.

I agree but even with all the news of new outbreaks and new tests starting to sell. Nothing is moving this!. The sad thing is other shares full of debt etc flying. You can’t make it up but unfortunately the market just don’t like MHC ATM. Maybe a spike out of nowhere would help get investors interested but fundamentals are looking good. The second will be much better but I seriously can’t call this anymore. That said I’ll remain positive and hopefully our day will come. I’ve bought more at lows but you have to say at some point is the wait worth it while others are flying we’re just standing still!.
Forget Black Friday sale the buy price at these levels is absolute steal........
But that's my thoughts, if you can't afford the risk don't do it....or don't embarrass yourself later by complaining

Should we all be concerned that China won’t share data on new virus outbreak.
Should we take precautions against China and restrict travel or reinforce testing of Chinese citizens!!!!

Many American senators urging Joe Biden to reintroduce a Ban on China until more is known!
England is sleep walking and saying nothing, waiting for guidance from the USA as usual.
England can not cope with breakout that affects children mostly as the impact on the children is bad enough but the effect of the NHS will overwhelm already stretched services.
I’d suggest PCR testing for travellers would be sufficient for now and LFT tests for all incoming travellers and only a travel ban as last resort. The aviation industry is just starting to recover but it’s
Paramount the government do
Something as voters won’t be forgiving if many children suffer as a lack of action

Notice the importance of digital data which MHC appear to be investing in big. I believe MHC fully understands this area and the need for a digital platform. I do believe it will pay off given its a growing niche market

Totally a company in our sector recently collapsed to all time lows. The company blames its falls on the NHS!
Anyway it’s in our sector! and the great thing is for MHC is it’s one growth area in the business is it wellbeing division. So maybe our figures will be better than expected in January.
The strange thing is they were giving dividends all along despite having little cash in the bank and little profits. So I say maybe given our positive financial position maybe we are in a position to issue a dividend.
I’m expecting our cash position to increase to anything from 7-9m!
How many might ask.
The chairman’s statement alerted us to 3m paid tests being converted into cash and no need for purchasing by way of contractual obligations in 2023. I do expect revenue less than 2022 due to less demand for PCR and lFT testing. That said since June we have had a surge in lFT tests. It’s a shame we never knew daily sales in the shops as we do with online sales. This would allow a more accurate calculation. MHC is definitely in a growing market and I just hope the market appreciates it’s just a Covid play.
Definitely deserves to be much higher

If Penny does employ any member of her staff to look on boards like this to see what investors are thinking . I would urge her to seriously put out an RNS indicating whether they are experiencing an uptick is Covid sales.
Looking at the Boots ticker you notice a sudden spike again in the sales. Many may say but why!
I would say people deserve to know we are well equipped as this new outbreak of!!!! Breaks out. What ever people think some 3-4 years on we still in times when new variants and diseases are a constant concern to public health. This isn’t a dying business it’s a growing one and a vital part of MHCs revenue. Penny should be alerting the markets if she’s seeing uptick in sales as the markets heard nothing before and were shocked by the drop in revenue. Whilst they clearly wish to shock the the market in January I’d suggest letting us know if signs are there things are better second half.
I’d be banging on that people to add both Covid, influenza and new tests to the stocking at Christmas

Still selling and making money off selling others tests
Smart move or stupid one.
When I I go shopping to Tesco’s im confused what bottle of water to buy! Smart water or tescos own brand. Why do Tescos sell others Davand if they have their own brand.
I still can’t work it please enlighten me
Davand
You know as well as I do it’s personal for you and I don’t need to go there.
Do Tesco’s sell their own products!
Actually they have Tesco’s own brand
But the point being do price comparison sites sell their own or make commissions off other!
Mhc have their own brand whilst making millions off others. That’s smart in my eyes.
What would you suggest they do! Borrow money by way of more shares and dilution as Yourgene did to kill investors value or keep selling millions of others tests and making millions!
Your smart so your call
Nothing to do with Ygen or Rees, this is about mhc and their inability to sell their own products. Fyi, I bought a sackful in the offer so not too bad for me in the end. Never had that much in to start with, anyway that's history. I see the directors are filling their boots with cheap shares... NOT!

Sorry but this could easily blow up in everyone’s face. If China is reinforcing Masks and social distancing you know it’s Covid 2020.
How long before we demand them take PCR tests to travel.
If we’ve learnt from before we need to act fast and not trust China
Https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/11/28/gove-covid-inquiry-man-made-china-wuhan/
China covered it up last time!
So why trust them this time !
Davand
I know it was terrible how Yourgene sold out to Ncyt but look how fast it’s rising now!
Maybe we need them after us. The average person in mHC is probably 70-80% down.
Despite reasonable progress and in a healthy position the markets do seem to be ignoring mHC
Ncyt flying probably due to swine flu
https://www.google.com/search?q=what+are+tests+for.swine+flu&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari
Surely we are well placed to benefit from any testing with our contracts with boots.
Is the new Chinese disease that mostly affects children and vulnerable spreading to the Netherlands!
Should we be concerned!
Davand
You said a lot of things as regards Yourgene being able to go it alone but in the end bad management caused its failure.
I’ll say it again MHC are debt free and growing in cash in the bank and building its own brand.
I do agree traction on growing revenue from new products is needed but changing peoples habits of relying on the NHS will take time.
The key is they have money in the bank in an environment of uncertainty so I view them as one of the most promising and prudent companies on the AIM. The markets will see this after December when all the paid tests as stated in the last update are converted to cash.
It will take time but it’s certainly growing
Davand
It’s clear your personally against Rees whom you blame for the problem at yourgene which led to them selling to NCYT on the cheap. Unfortunately yourgene ran out out cash and options which was a shame but it is what it is.
Penny’s in charge at MHC and shaping things well with over 20 new lines and whether you say it’s money from yourgene or whatever we are self sufficient and debt free. If MHC were smart enough to make money from yourgene that signals a smart woman called Penny is doing her job.
Yourgene probably did the best thing given they are part of a larger company now however I also had a few shares there and know shareholders were shafted in the deal.
