I don't normally like Malcys blog that much since it is mainly copy and paste, however, he does make some very good points regarding the announcement , which are quite detailed and sum it all up rather well. I suggest reading the article from yesterday. In his comments he suggests PL ''is taking one for the team''. I agree!

Is it a great shame? I'm undecided and can't really arrive at a definite answer. Argentina has been a massive uphill struggle, sucked up a lot of resources and produced no return. We've been subsidising the Argentina economy. There are a few unknowns as per usual with PL, but I do believe he has the shareholders in mind when making decisions. To be realistic as with many AIM companies your along for the ride so in short if you don't believe in PL conserve cash and get out. I'm in for the time being.
2 RNSs yesterday 2nd was GM in London on 21st September
The company at this point. The drilling later in the year in Argentina where Molecular were going to drill on their own is a large resource which could have made the company a lot of money(and shareholders too) a bit sad really - will have to check what is being sold in the prospectus.

Believe 30% success chance on that drill, all no I'm not convinced this is accurate, life line 4 company, noted atom investment same as when 1st bought, interesting c if any traders come in 4 trade, seems very little appetite 4 this in these markets,
Rid his self, family of debt, don't c much benefit 4 small stake holders, been total disaster argentina,
DR
He is not taking the whole company, just the Argentinian assets. Remember both he and Rob Shepherd are very heavily invested.

A concern of investors a while ago was that PL could take the company private on the cheap. At about 0.6 of a penny a share in old money it seems like that's exactly what could happen
Not sure what to make if it. All reports related to Argentine oil production show they are desperate to increase output. The timing seems odd with the elections coming up. Would it not be beneficial to wait a few months to see who wins and see their policies. Most of the front runners are very keen to relax or cancel capital controls. If this happens it’s worth far more than $40m. Why the cap at $40m which includes contingent payments based on future cashflow if they are so confident it is not going our way. Begs the question if it is such a basket case why does PL want it.
PL took Louisiana, and now he's getting Argentina. Leaves MEN with Paraguay and their new energy investments in Atome, Green House etc.
This is probably a very good move for Men. Hopefully the SP can go up and up from here. But yet, somehow I feel confused or at least misguided about Argentina, there is huge potential there, but I guess we say it didn't work out and move on.... Hmmm.....
By getting rid of most of the debt, and keeping Atome, Paraguay, and forthcoming Green Ipo, this must be good news.
As others have said, Atome is basically our market cap.
GLA
A little confusing with many questions. Let's see what the market thinks about this RNS over the next few weeks...
Two ways to view this, either something great is about to happen in Argentina which PL wants for himself or because the market values argentina negatively we need to get rid in order for the sp to reflect the remaining business. I believe it is the latter and trust the sp will rise.
Continuous civil works is being conducted to monitor the approximately 150km of unpaved dirt roads to the remote drilling location which will continue throughout the drilling and demobilization period 🚜 🇵🇾

Well that's good news; thanks, Ecclescake
The road could be damaged by heavy rain, but I suspect it was made to a high standard because of the large and heavy loads it had to take. They may have made the road to a very good standard if they are expecting a successful drill, to begin trucking oil out. I believe on the previous drills in Paraguay the government undertook to buy the oil at the well, that being the case again, the road should be good. Building a road in the rains is another problem, but that's not the case here. I wouldn't expect much disruption from weather now.
Can't be delayed much more now, except how much is drilling for oil & gas like tennis and cricket, in as much as can rain stop play? I ask because the rainy season in Paraguay is in Oct & Nov, so if those months are a washout like a test match at Old Trafford then even if a victory looks within grasp it could get washed away. ......
Unfortunately, another further delay - now maybe end of Sept!
Assuming this can’t really be delayed any further, say early October latest now!
Frustrating…
