It just gets on your nerves - particularly if you don't do anything about the critisism you express.
I keep thinking: what are these posters trying to achieve?
As I've said many times:
- If you're a shareholder your options are very limited (sell, hold or buy).
- If you're a disgruntled former shareholder you're probably trying to negatively influence current or potential shareholders.
That's my POV in a nutshell.
100% agreed, this is what badprofit and doc are doing just misrebal losers
Totally agree Ojay. You got it spot on.
Actually, it's been the pessimistic ones who've been absolutely spot on with this share... That's the bit that irks a lot of the people on here, who think that "head in the clouds" positivity and wishful thinking is enough to make their millions.
Wigster: And what have those "spot on pessimistic ones" achieved?
Looks like you didn't get my point.
They've achieved giving a bit of balance to the constant stream of overly-positive baseless drivel from many on here. Yes, this may not make a substantive difference to theirs or others' investments, but I see it as healthier than just getting one "rose-tinted" point of view. Maybe pessimistic is the wrong word and pragmatic would suit better?
Folks .
I came across this article earlier which I thought was worth sharing. Worth a read.
Petro Matad’s renewable energy joint venture is making progress on two exciting projects. On the Oyu Tolgoi gold and copper mine (where Rio Tinto is the major shareholder), a MOU has been signed between the mine owners and the Japanese Overseas Environmental Cooperation Centre (OECC) for the supply of green hydrogen (which requires renewable energy) as a fuel for the mine and to help decarbonise operations. This MOU could see grant funding of up to 40% of the capital expenditure requirements for this part of the project. SRE has also secured approval of a feasibility study (from the Ministry of Energy) for a 50MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the town of Choir. This would help to cut the amount of coal used in power generation and reduce the need of importing high-cost power from China and Russia at peak hours. This is the second such BESS project in Mongolia, with the government looking at further projects around the country. SRE would be well placed to participate in other such projects. These developments amount to exciting progress for the JV, which was only formed in Q1 2023. ▪ Slow work on land access. Petro Matad provided an update on obtaining formal approval for State Special Purpose certification of the exploitation area on Block XX. This process has been held up the Provincial Governor’s refusal to sign off on the government’s Tripartite Agreement. Little has changed since the last update in March 2024 and the local land use approvals are still being pursued. Once in hand, the local land use agreement will allow the company to complete the Heron-1 discovery well as an oil producer. The company has contracts in place with service providers and timing of mobilisation is under discussion. Management is in discussions with PetroChina about offtake arrangements (covering areas such as transportation, processing, export and sale) of oil produced once the well is ready to start production. This would be good news as it would allow Petro Matad to start generating cash flows that would be used to grow the business. ▪ Valuation. Our RENAV (Risked Exploration Net Asset Value) stands at 23.6p/share. We believe that the resolution of the land access issue will be a step forward despite the delays to State Special Purpose certification. As management starts its work programme, better clarity will emerge on the valuation. Management will

If Ojay gets his wish I'll be dead before I earn a shilling from PM, no wonder I'm "pessimistic" although I would call it being realistic.
As far as achievement goes what, pray, have the rampers achieved except to forecast false dawns & give false hope to the gullible?
Roxy2020 - That is from the PM-commissioned Progressive Equity Research note dated 2nd May 2024, following the company RNS of 25th April. Their RENAV of 23.6p is interesting...
B/p you and your "death wish": Hope you feel better referring to that time and again and again and again....
Wigster: "They've achieved giving a bit of balance to the constant stream of overly-positive baseless drivel from many on here."
Says who - you? Well then I hope it has made you happy.
I for one can't identify any "bit of balance" - only pessimism.
Ojay - search for a poster called WiseOwlSpeak. He has about 5000 posts of rose-tinted optimism, which will help you to balance out all of the pessimism which is getting on your nerves. HTH.
Ojay, give it up and go to bed. Wigster has articulated himself very well, delivering you in the process two knockout blows and exposing you for the condescending pillock you are. You are one of the most worthless posters on here, simply happy clapping the likes of WOS and Hamm (when he’s not shorting MATD).
You really do fall into this bucket: those “who think that "head in the clouds" positivity and wishful thinking is enough to make their millions.”
“Ojay - search for a poster called WiseOwlSpeak. He has about 5000 posts of rose-tinted optimism, which will help you to balance out all of the pessimism which is getting on your nerves. HTH.”
LOL, make that three knockout blows! Yours creasing me tonight, Wigster.
Anyway, night all. Early start, RNS watching at 7am.
Lol looks who's talking the man with 5000 negative posts picking on other people's post but no real research or own theory here, just 5000 posts criticism on other posts 😂 can't make it up
Got to bed you old fart
Yes we have great accurate posting by people like Mr BP who say "Petro Matad will go bust by next year" (he say this late 2023) and then we find out he now holding stock to sell.
Other gossipy posters who almost every post is just 'cut & paste' attacks on others.
They can pat themself on back but for this behaviour but many will understand what they really about!
Back to investment discussion - gossipy posting only suit there sillliness.
