Wow, my two posts got deleted very quick!!
You simply can't make it up can you? Found oil but can't take it out? Never ever happened anywhere in the world, regulatory and procedures I understand, but over 4yrs is taking the biscut!
That is very concerning! That explains a lot... why we are still unable to access oil after 4yrs of discovery! And if they decide to do what is said, there is nothing anyone can do anything about it!!
Doc83 - you are losing sight of the fact that MATD is predominantly owned by the largest privately owned oil and fuel company in Mongolia. And MATD is actually a subsidiary of Petrovis - look at their website.
It may be listed on the LSE, but as per the Petrovis website, it is has ' predominantly Mongolian ownership. '
Has everybody seen this on the Petrovis website ? ;
https://en.petrovis.mn/subsidiaries
I hadn't realised that PM is actually a subsidiary of Petrovis. Frankly I'm amazed that senior people at Petrovis don't get more closely involved with sorting issues out for MATD. And do the activists even realise that MATD is a subsidiary of the biggest Mongolian privately owned oil and fuel company ? They seem to make xenophobic remarks about ' foreigners ' exploiting the natural resources of Mongolia. Contrast this with PetroChina, who are a Chinese state owned company.
One of the pros for thinking this will come good eventually was that to not give MATD the right to extract oil they’d found would look very bad and could discourage inward investment into Mongolia. Reading that article you’d have to say they don’t seem too bothered if they get foreign investment or not. While labelled a nayer, I always leaned towards thinking this will eventually come for good… it was how quickly it might that I mostly disagreed with on here. However, I am now leaning the other way. MB is going to have to pull a big rabbit out of the hat on Tuesday to restore confidence.
ULAANBAATAR, SUKHBAATAR DISTRICT, MONGOLIA, April 27, 2024 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Mongolia's recent amendment to its Minerals Law, granting the government authority to seize up to 50 percent of shares without compensation, while restricting project owners to a mere 34 percent and compelling the remainder into a forced sale, has sent shockwaves through the international investment community.
Everyone seems to think its someone else's fault they are in red here and not theirs.
I agree to some extent with that but seriously that is not in the slightest a factual argument.
This is how AIM stocks are and their movements are unpredictable to say the least.
The rewards are great too when it all goes to plan
We all knew when we invested our hard earned money that this has many hurdles to overcome so although we can fill dissatisfied with the progress we shouldn't blame it all on the company although the board has messed it up a bit.
This will now take a lot more time to come back in fruition but it will.

Perhaps he was negotiating to send illegal immigrants there as it is the lowest ppoulated country per kilometre.
“Jimi, so sell up and fk off you deramping sheet, very clear you deramping to get in lower scam”
I hope the one “recommendation” this post got was from Cybertrash himself. WOS calls me a disgusting individual but really, it’s posters like this. Should be banned.
Got to wonder if MATAD where discussed on Cameron's visit. https://youtu.be/PaXQVOkSOc0?si=75ljpKaxVb1gpsdQ
So at least 65.57% of total shares are owned by PIs then
Dafis is correct, the shares of platforms are those held on behalf of holders using that particular platform. Hamm has flipped again. Ramper to panic merchant, chill it’ll come when it comes.
Not quite 'owned' by institutions, more likely private investors who use Barclays, II, Hargreaves etc.
Someone had to much vimto last night I see 😂😂
731,096,448 shares
65.57% of total shares
Owned by institutions
Petrovis matad 222,937,203 19.92%
Hargreaves landsdown stockbrokers 182,661,342 16.40%
Interactive investors 139,976,747 12.57%

Cybertron, read the post correctly, fact, worst case scenario not "maybe" doesn't mean it couldn't happen. I wouldn't say they couldn't raise cash either, some companies raise at a fraction of a penny megga dilution perhaps, confetti ukog or 88e for example. Just what is the truth with this company? Well I think one way or another we will find out on Tuesday and once again be prepared for all eventualities. GLA
Oh Hamm, seriously, bore off. You have no right to bellyache after all your nonsense about how this was a done deal, when it clearly wasn’t.
But a big LOL at Cybertrash who is really highlighting how little he knows.
Please guys if you really care about your investment leave comments in the facebook.
Every little help mat make big difference. We all need to be united to get matad LP sorted.
The uk foreign minister should support us. It is not fair to be ignored after we spent millions of pounds and many years.
We can't be ripped off. Not fair, and not acceptable.
Can we all leave a comment on this Facebook post from the Mongolian embassy promoting foreign investment about the problems Petro Matad are having. It may force the issue, every little helps......

Key Company Updates
· The Company continues to push the Government to complete the regulatory formalities to guarantee land access and allow completion operations at Heron 1 to commence. Significant progress has been made with the Matad District authorities with one outstanding issue at the Provincial level still to complete.
No cyber. We have land use but no land access because the land over we need to access block xx is common land. Hence land access permit required.
It's not land access we have that already, we need land use agreement, why should we not be able to get it, 1st march rns States the land use agreement is being prepared, it's not not an approval,
