R&H this might help....visit mentioned in the May RNS:
"Discussions on changes to the Production Sharing Contract (PSC), on the proposed work programme and on fiscal terms have been completed. This part of the process involved a visit to the UK and to the Isle of Man by representatives of MMHI and MRPAM"

As their pockets were already stuffed full with brown envelopes MB thought that giving them a holiday in the IoM might sweeten the pot a little more.
Extract from RNS :- 22nd May 2023
β Discussions on changes to the Production Sharing Contract (PSC), on the proposed work programme and on fiscal terms have been completed. This part of the process involved a visit to the UK and to the Isle of Man by representatives of MMHI and MRPAM and we were honoured to be accompanied on the trip to the Isle of Man by the Mongolian Ambassador to the UK.β
Why does that need a visit and why was a new co. set up just after ( I think some kind poster discovered it was Petro Matad Energy Ltd - stand to be corrected if memory fails)
Fascinating ?!
Didn't think we'd get a bigger prat than Bad Boy but there you go !! Bad Boy will be miffed lol
I must say I totally agree Ojay.
Apart from a very few doubters here most would agree this is now a question of when and not if.
GLA
I have no doubt that posters such as r&h, Hamm, Wos, Thornogsen et. al. are all on the right track. We just need to wait for that "mother of all RNSs" which will initiate the long awaited (and deserved) PM fireworks.
It just feels like only the less sensible post on these boards, why do people expect things to get down over night?
Give it till the earliest end of the month atleast, and for what's coming multibags and company going into production, it's big news and if people can't hold for a few weeks the it's your dumb loss or theirs,
Ramp or deramp, what counts is what's on the last RNS end of,
Might not be relevant to PM.

PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR M. BADAMSUREN MET WITH BUSINESS UNITS PARTICIPATING IN THE PURCHASE
Today /2024.01.05/ a meeting was held with the local enterprises participating in the tender in connection with the approval of the 2024 procurement plan of the portfolio manager.
At the meeting, the updated version of the "Law on the purchase of goods, works and services with state and local property assets" and brief information on last year's purchases were presented.
The governor of the province stated that he is following the policy of supporting small enterprises and organizations by setting the threshold criteria for participating in the procurement of enterprises to be the lowest possible, dividing high-value work into packages, providing equal opportunities.
Also, a training course will be held on January 19, 2024, to introduce the revised version of the "Law on the purchase of goods, works and services with state and local property funds" to the companies participating in the tender.
All depends on land access to unleash DQE, etc to follow.
As simple/complcated as that.
Technically should/could be any day and it will be.
Next 2 weeks max. No reason to be more than that.
Who wants to risk and miss this great opportunity now?
R&h: I would generally agree to that - although the begin of PM's oil extraction operations could be dependent on contractual, admin or other aspects triggered by the LP sign off causing further delays - I truly hope they don't crop up but with PM you never know.
I bet its all approved , just conditional upon LP sign off then setting of start dates
Could it possible be that it cannot be approved until LP is approved π when LP is approved they can confirm dates and resources etc
.......and put it all in one big RNS and watch the re-rate!!
Extract from RNS 5th Dec 2022:-
"Negotiations with DQE Drilling ("DQE"), the main provider of drilling services in Mongolia, have continued and a contract for a multi-well development drilling programme is in the final stages of discussion. The contract envisages a reduction in drilling costs and deferral of some costs to allow a portion of the drilling expenditure to be settled from future production revenue. The contract still needs to be finalised and agreed with DQE and then with MRPAM, but the cost reductions and payment phasing could significantly improve project cash flows and overall asset value since the largest portion of the Heron development costs are drilling related. "
Then:-
Extract from RNS 14th February 2023:-
"Negotiations with DQE Drilling ("DQE"), the main provider of drilling services in Mongolia, have been completed and the contract for a multi-well development drilling programme is with DQE's head office for review and approval after which we plan to seek the approval of MRPAM."
As soon as the fund released and land access secured MATD will be a printing machine.
Welcome to reality.
Hamm - rumour has it the Governor of Dornod has taken a sabbatical for 2024... :D
It has already been a couple of weeks since compensation money paid and waiting to be approved.
A week or 2 max is my guess. RNS will rolling then after. One after another.
Massive potential for investors.
Researchandhold said//BP is like a stain on humanity//
Hamm - I will make the same bet with you that WOS refuses to take:
If the SP stays above 5p for at least a week after the LP/RNS lands I will stop posting. If it doesn't you will stop posting.
It is tedious but it will come. Last episode. Any day.
Worth waiting.
Serious rerate.
How many more ministries does this need to go to Finance ministry latest one . Only Ministry of Silly walks to go and we should finally cross the line
The Dornod Gov is busy paying the herders compensation π
Very SOON πheader says all
If that is the case why are you here?
It is an irony, isn't it?
You guys the nayers know what would happen when the news comes?
We are gonna be rewarded handsomely.
Seriously multi bagger. It is as clear as day light.
....any day now... ππππ
